well think about this, would you rather live in a world with a few communist countries, or Russia never helping in WWII and the U.S. being a Nazi or empireal controlled land? i would definatly go with the communist countries
By the time Russia joined the war, Germany was almost utterly defeated. Russia joining the war resulted in the war ending 6...perhaps 8 months father. We should have destroyed Russia..
ok, Germany may have been defeated, but Japan wouldnt stop fighting no matter how many nukes America launched. Japan stopped when Russia began. they could have kept going and going and going just like an energizer bunny. when they saw another just as large army join into the fray, they knew they were screwed
No, Japan surrendered after the second nuke dropped. Russia had already been involved at that point, and they showed no signs of stopping. Only after the destructive power of the nuke was revealed, did Japan surrender. Russia didn't even set foot into Japan.
they didnt need to. the japs would have figured out how to make a nuke eventually. it was the power of America and Russia (all the other european countries said screw that, im cleanin nazi guts) that knocked japan flat out. America alone and Russia alone would stand little chance to the feirce tactis of the japanese
