The Covenant ravaged this world, and I don't think there is anything that can reverse the damage done to this world. It is a shame...I loved Harvest...it was my home. Harvest - Circa 2555 System: Epsilon Indi Moons: None Diameter: 4,000 Km Day Length: 17 hours, 30 minutes and 8 seconds Year length: 267.0731 days Government: None Harvest Harvest was a breadbasket world, a colony that was rich in fertile land. As such, it was a farming colony, used to provide vast quantities of food to the rest of the UNSC. THere were several cities on Harvest, the Capital being Utgard. Early History Human-Covenant War Post-Covenant Status Ecosystem Population Director Vernette's Personal Notes Early History Harvest was founded in 2468 when the UNSC Skidbladnir arrived transporting colonist to the planet. THe population was very small, but by 2525, the planet had a population of over 300 000 people. Most of the colonists were of American descent, originating from the mid-western United States. Human-Covenant War Harvest was found by the Covenant in 2525. THis planet was the staging ground for the start of the Human-Covenant War. The planet changed hands several times, but by 2531, the planet was under UNSC Control. Post-Covenant Status Sometime between 2531 and 2555, Harvest became a Brute training ground. THe harsh terrain is used to train younger Brutes in the harsh realities of combat and war. As of 2555, Director Vernette has allowed the Brute to maintain control of Harvest, as a sign of friendship, despite this planet being his homeworld. Ecosystem Prior to the Human-Covenant War, Harvest had a temperate, lush climate. The Ecosystem was filled with diverse life. The terrain was made of grasslands and rolling hills. However, Harvest is now a dead planet. There is little left to restore. Population a population of 300 000. Projections indicate, that this number would have increaded by a factor of four by 2555, had the war not of happened.
