This RPG takes place in the time fame of the middle ages. ************************************* Rules: 1. This RPG will take place in the Dungeons and Dragons universe, if you don’t know what that is basically its about the same as lord of the ring movies, minus the gay love. If you didn’t watch or read about that then as said before it will be about the middle ages and dark ages, with swords and knights. 2. You can be an Human, Dwarf, Elf, High Elf, Eladrain, Orc, Oger, Dragonborn, Halfling, Tiefling, Gnome and half-Elf, half-Orc. Do not make convoluted characters with weird enhancements. People with weird, contrived, enhancements to their body, or weird social standards will be deleted from the RPG. In short...no cyborgs, gods, religious idols, or nut job( you can only reference a god only if your class permits it, in the world of D+D there is religious tolerance so no bashing other religions, breaking of this rule will lead to an permanent kick from this thread.) ---Dragonborn are for EXPERIENCED and APPROVED posters only. ---Tiefling are for EXPERIENCED and APPROVED posters only. --- Any character (or class) that’s from a “different timeline” (also known as, DTC) is for EXPERIENCED posters only. (such as using a character including but not limited to, from NHRPG; ODST, and Elite.) the main requirement to getting a DTC, is by having one accepted character and after a number of posts, you can then request to have a DTC. 3. Your arsenal of weapons can only be weapons from the D+D franchise; you can even use the confirmed weapons from middle ages and back. You cannot be or be a relative to someone that makes guns and accessories. Guns in general may become available later on. You can also customize your weapons too an extent. SEE THE WEAPONS SECTION 4. You can't arbitrarily kill other players, I know, it sucks. you can't control them either, but something like "they nodded" is fine, just nothing too drastic. If someone gives you permission to kill, that's cool. 5. You can control a group of characters, but do not create 1000's of characters and do nothing with them. Make them as you need them. 6. Do not be Overpowered. There is a difference between Skilled and Overpowered. A soldier with the rank of Private would not have the skill set necessary to fight off a group of enemy soldiers. However, an experienced veteran would. 7. Be balanced, If you have a curable disease, you get injected with cure for said disease, YOU HAVE BEEN CURED. 8. Try and participate in the story. 9. Characters must act as any character should. ---Orcs are a combatant race ---Elfs and Eladrin are a methodical race ---Humans are a cunning race ---Dwarfs should ACT like Dwarfs. 10. No Sex! Affection is fine...but all out sex is not permitted. Exception is granted to plot building devices. 11. No 21st century weapons and No 21st century references. A general concept such as company names is fine but specific product placement is NOT ALLOWED. ---No television shows ---No products (iPods, Xboxs, PS3s, video games, etc.) ---Company names are fine ON THE RARE OCCASION, as it has been established that various companies that exist today have been around sense those dark times. 12. Do not stall the story. Your character will be RPed as necessary to avoid the RPG from being put on hold. 13. Characters must stick to their affiliation. If you want an Orc character, prepare to play the role of the bad guy. Exceptions are granted on a case by case basis. 14. Spells cannot be made from other franchise ( example, the ki blast from dragonball z, or spells from harry potter books/movies), and there is no “Death touches” of any type. 15. Only a few select spells can Alter time, if you are planning on using it, you going to need a really good plan and convince me its worth it. no spell can be done more then once per post unless doubled casted(which is an advance move); Yes there are loops holes to get around this rule, feel free to use them sparingly, if you over use the loops your will be put on a spell limit and may even be forced to forget spells. you cast a spell, it takes time just like catching your breath, spells can fatigue the body just like running. A General rule about spells and what you know little/nothing about don’t use them that way you’re free and clear of any wrong. 16. If a person makes a spell or item, your not allowed their made spell or item unless given permission. 17. The only execptions to these rules listed above is my approvel or 18. Back story must be DETAILED. Name: Sex: Age: Class: Race: Rank: Affliction: (lawful good, chaotic good, good, natural, chaotic evil ) Traits: Weapons: Back story: (must be at lest good 2 paragraphs long, each paragraph must be at lest 5 to 6 sentence long.) Chain of Command: (King Lawrence military, ) Affliction: (lawful good, Chaotic good, good, neutral, evil, chaotic evil) Backstory should explain why this character is relevant to the plot. ************************************* Weapons attach ************************************* Weapons: You can customize your weapons (IF YOU WISH) by adding any two of the following attachments: 1. Hidden chamber 2. Rune engravings Don’t be retarded. ************************************* ************************************* Armor: You can customize your armor by adding any of the following details: 1. Squad emblem 2. Tertiary equipment ************************************* ************************************* Key Posters Regulations: Key posters are posters with more privileges, they are people who I trust my RPG with, anytime, any day of the week. With that in mind, They have special Exceptions to the rules above 1. They are able to kill other characters. 2. They can control the plot. 3. They are needed to approve a time lapse of any size. Key Posters are *Do not ask to be a Key Poster, You are chosen to be a Key Poster
