Marijuana, better know as Pot

Some of you may remeber awhile back Lynksys made a thread about this, and i said im all for it. Somethings i've learned today have not changed that. I found a booklet about drugs i got in gr. 7 Health class. I was like "hey i remember this" and read through it. It just so happenes Nicotine and Marijuana were side by side.i read both and thought "What the fuck?" I saw that in ciggarettes there is Tar Nicotine (extremely addictive substance) Cyanide (for those who dont know, it was used to kill people in gas chambers) Carbon Monoxide (favourite suicide gas) Arsenous Oxide Ammonia Formaldehyde Guess how much of that is in pot? NONE OF IT! It's a leaf rolled in paper. I thought "Why the hell is the toxic waste dump known as ciggarettes still legal, and pot is still banned?" I discussed this with my mom earilier and she agrees with my 100%. She said "The only reason its banned is because of a study from the 1920's." This blew my mind, I could not beleive how stupid the people have become. I said that they wwe should get rid of ciggarettes, unban pot and enforce some of the same laws as alcohol, like you cant drive hig. She said the problem with that is that there isnt a way to test if you're high on the road like that, and that you would end up driving better if you're high because 1. you're calmer, so no road rage 2. you're slower and 3. you pay more attention to your surroundings. She said that a few weeks ago there was a poll in Canada, and 57% of Canada are pro-pot. The main argument against pot is that it causes cancer. So do ciggarettes and millions of other things, are you gonna ban those to? I'dlike to hear your input on this

I honestly don't care in the least whether or not pot gets legalized. But I am very anti-cigarette because my friend (Scorpia) Had to have one of his lungs removed due to second hand smoke
