Background: The Geth Prime Mobile Platform - otherwise known as "Phalanx" to Cerberus engineers - is a Geth mobile platform intended for long range espionage missions that would typically put a Geth unit outside the effective range of The Geth Consensus. As a result of this reality, "Phalanx's" mobile platform contains over 1551 active programs - most of which are dedicated to combat tactics and electronic infiltration with low priority being given to social interactions and interpersonal skills. In 2182, while investigating what seemed like an abandoned planet that showed evidence of nearby wirelessly accessible networks, The Geth Prime Mobile Platform was engaged by, and disabled by Cerberus engineers, and captured. The Geth Prime Mobile Platform was subjected to extensive tests and diagnostics, before Cerberus decided that it could potentially be useful as either an operative, or as a trojan horse to be used against The Geth to gather strategic intelligence. It was decided that for the captured Geth to be of any use, it would have to be reprogrammed. However, Cerberus quickly discovered the complexity of such a task, and eventually settled on making slight modifications to each individual program on The Geth. Cerberus spent close to a year analyzing each individual program that was running on The Geth Prime Mobile Platform, and had sufficiently modified each program to conform to Cerberus parameters - going so far as to hardcode total loyalty to Cerberus, and altering its perceptions on Humans, as well as its perceptions of all other species, including The Geth. After 318 days of downtime, The Geth Prime Mobile Platform was eventually reactivated, but promptly deactivated afterwards when the final set of diagnostics had confirmed that the code alterations had, in fact, had an effect on the operating procedure of The Geth Prime Mobile Platform. During The Geth Prime Mobile Platform's time with Cerberus, it was nicknamed "Phalanx"...named in honor of the VI virus that was used to Brute Force the Geth program firewalls. Presently, Phalanx is currently in storage aboard The Damocles, awaiting ongoing field tests.
