Anaconda: We should see if we can grab some heavier and bigger before taking on the rest of The Trust.
Anaconda paused.
Anaconda: We should move undetected as long as possible, until we are forced to engage and reveal our hostility. My active camo is fried...so you should take point, to check corners. You are smaller and harder to spot.
Anaconda paused.
Anaconda: This way, we can save ammo, and move more quickly. It will not take long for The Risk Takers, or anyne else for that matter, to respond to the fact that I am now roaming free. If there is nothing else...we should get moving. The more we can get done, the better off Nighthawk and the other Humans will be when they attack this ship.
Meanwhile:
Jennifer was silent for a moment, as she let the words sink in. However, after a moment, Jennifer turned to her axillary communication systems, as she added all of the Pelican's occupant's personal comm frequencies to the fleet channel, so that they could listen in on the briefing.
Jennifer: Our primary objective will be to get our Pelican's on-board that ship. There will be multiple steps to that objective, not the least of which will be finding a balance between our offensive and defensive. We must not go through hell and high water to get our people on board, only to destroy the ship minutes later. We need a strong offensive to get our people in, followed by a solid defensive to keep ourselves alive.
Jennifer paused.
Jennifer: The first step should be to compromise point defense systems and the hanger bays. The King Raven will engage The Ulterior Motive head on, focusing firepower on point defensive systems only. The Mind Attrition, however, will be flying escort for The King Raven. Given the fact that all of our attention will be focused on poking holes in the point defensive weapon arcs of The Ulterior Motive, we will be unable to defend against incoming attacks. This is where The Mind's Attirition comes in. Captain Reynolds, your ship will fly in close formation with ours, and you will be singularly responsible for mitigating incoming Archer missiles that are aimed at The King Raven. Keep your head down, and do not give The Trust a reason to blow you out of the sky. Now, Admiral...given the fact that your ships has a modestly higher rate of fire than The King Raven does, you should be responsible for breaching the hanger bay doors. If you focus enough firepower on a single hanger bay door, it should be enough to punch right through the doors, and force an opening for us. The Trust will not let our ships dock...so we have to kick the doors down.
Jennifer paused.
Jennifer: Once you have opened the hanger bay doors Admiral...you will need to stop The Ulterior Motive. It will be possible to disrupt their engines by hitting them with a sustained dispersive pattern of Shiva warheads. Be careful with this. We do not want to flood the sensors full of EM radiation. IF we can slow them down, or even stop them for a minute or two...that would be enough time for our Pelican's to land.
Jennifer paused.
Jennifer: Now, our Pelican's have a bit of work to do. You will have to keep your distance from The Ulterior Motive, while at the same time, doing your best to stay clear of their line of sight. If you can either The Vigorous Inferno or The King Raven between you and The Ulterior Motive, consider yourselves safe. Otherwise...you are putting yourselves in danger. Once Harrison gives the signal that he has breached a hanger bay door, you are to immediately converge on The Ulterior Motive, and make every effort to dock your Pelican's in the exposed hanger bay. Do everything you have to, to get inside that ship and secure the hanger bay.
Jennifer paused.
Jennifer: Now, securing the hanger bay will carry extreme risk to our people, as they will be forced into a situation where they will require someone rated for EVA to leave their Pelican, to access the operator console located in the hanger bay control room. From there, that individual could enable the security barriers for the hanger bay as well as the recompression procedures, to make it safe for our non-EVA units to exit their Pelican's. The only two people rated for this will be either Cam or Dark.
Jennifer paused.
Jennifer: Once our teams are safely aboard, the role of the Navy will be fulfilled, and it will be up to Commander Vernette to coordinate the offensive from there. The Navy will then fall back, and take defensive action, and hold out as long as we can.
Jennifer paused.
Jennifer: Any questions?
