[Hells Sniper]

Jessica could feel the first few bullets impact her side as she rolled to the side and into cover. She groaned as the biofoam injectors helped her out. She contacted Liam over the radio. Jessica: Sir, Nighthawk is giving me a beating. Liam looked over Anaconda, he was debating a few options in his mind when he heard Jessica. Liam: Can you hold out? Jessica: Negative, I've taken a lot of hits, sir. Liam looked at Emma and pointed his finger towards Jessica's location. Liam: Emma is on her way. And so she was, Emma ran through the debris of the destroyed walls, chairs, tables and dead scientists. She was heading towards Jessica's IFF when she stopped right outside of the room. She removed her shotgun and activated her thermal, Nighthawk was getting back to his feet. Emma slowly moved behind Nighthawk's position and entered the room through a broken window. She hid behind a desk and peeked over the cover. Nighthawk was focused on Jessica, so she took her chance. Emma jumped over the desk and fired a shell from her shotgun, hitting Nighthawk square in the back. Nighthawk fell forward a bit and quickly turned to raise her weapon. That's when Jessica broke from cover and hit Nighthawk in the visor with a right hook. Nighthawk stumbled to the side, giving Emma enough time to roll over and swat the gun from his hands. The gun flew in the air and landed in Jessica's hand. They both raised their weapons, Jessica pulling back the stock, and Emma cocking her shotgun. Meanwhile: William knew he would not be able to best Xyrho in a sword fight, but he didn't need to best him. All he needed to do was distract him. When Xyrho lunged, William sidestepped and pushed Xyrho straight into the desk behind him. Xyrho fell into the desk and William turned, he deactivated the sword and placed it on his leg. He ran at Xyrho at crashed into him from behind, William pushed Xyrho into the desk and began to slam one of his hands onto the desk. Slowly, Xyrho lost control of the first sword as it fell from his hands. Desmond rolled out of the way from the plasma rifle and raised his weapon. He scanned the area and saw that Vhat disappeared. Desmond knew he went invisible as he activated his thermal again, looking for Vhat. Meanwhile: Savannah rolled out of the way as Furium charged at her. Savannah was running out of options and quickly, she wouldn't be able to keep this up, this Chieftain was different. He was stronger, faster, more dedicated to killing her. Savannah placed her rifle on her back and ran towards the stairs. Savannah: Liam. I'm having trouble with this brute up here. Liam: What? Savannah: You heard me, he already took a beating, but he's not going down. Liam cursed under his breath. Liam: Do NOT bring it here. Get it outside, in the open, maybe the UNSC will converge fire on it. Savannah: Roger that, moving. Savannah ran down the stairs, but she could hear Furium wasn't that far behind. And he most likely had his hammer again. Meanwhile: Jacob nodded. Jacob: Sounds like a fantastic idea to me!

[Kairu]

Vhat thought of a way to keep an advantage. He needed someone, something, stronger than him. Vhat ran as fast as he could between cover towards an enclosed area where a room wasn't completely blown out, his active camo only working half as well for the speed.

[Dark-F137]

The SPARTAN put his DMR on his back, drawing a knife as he motioned for his squad to follow. "Copy. Be advised, I am entering the building. Any specific orders?" Jesse meanwhile nodded. "Yessir."

[Naked Crook]

Nighthawk stood between Emma and Jessica. He could hear the sound of Emma and Jessica readying their weapons. Nighthawk turned to face both Emma and Jessica, before he began to speak to himself. Nighthawk: Suggestions? Nighthawk waited. HAWK: Negative...there are no possible course of actions given this set of variables. HAWK paused. HAWK: We have nothing... Nighthawk looked at Jessica and Emma again. He then began to laugh. He knew he was not getting out of this situation. Nighthawk: HAWK? HAWK: I see no viable courses of action. Nighthawk thought for a moment, before he sighed. He looked at Emma, and simply shrugged. Nighthawk: Alright Spartan...you win. I know when I am cooked. Meanwhile: Xyrho frowned, as he lost the grip on his left blade, but he quickly retaliated. Xyrho thrusted his right arm back, slamming his elbow right into William's gut. The force of impact pushed William back, allowing Xyrho to get back to his feet. As XYrho got up, and spun around, as he thrusted his right blade right through William, pushing the energy sword right through the Spartan, the tips of the blade sticking out his back. Xyrho then pulled the blade out, as he kicked William back, sending him backwards, and laying him out on the floor. Xyrho: Fool. You assumed you were a match for me? You assumed incorrectly! Xyrho paused. Xyrho: I give you this chance to call upon your allies...and declare your defeat to them. Call upon them...so I may do to them what I have done to you. I give you this chance to see them one final time! Meanwhile: Nova Team had closed in on Liam's location. THe four ODSTs spotted Liam standing over Anaconda. They had their weapons at the ready as they called out to Liam. Anubis: Stand down Spartan! You did good...but your role in this is finished. Meanwhile: Hoffman frowned at Arman. Hoffman: If you think that you will get anything out of me...you are mistaken!

[Hells Sniper]

Desmond scanned the area as he searched for Vhat, that's when he saw William's pulse skyrocket. Desmond looked behind him and saw William impaled with the energy sword. Liam: William!? Desmond: He's hit, sir. Orders? Liam: I'm mopping up with Anaconda...engage! Desmond sent an acknowledge and immediately ran towards William's aid. He ran straight at Xyrho and slammed his entire body into him, causing Xyrho to fall backwards. Desmond stepped on Xyrho's hand holding his sword and began to push down harder as he lost his grip. Desmond aimed his pistol to Xyrho's head. William began to crawl back, hoping the biofoam could do his job. Meanwhile: Liam was about to shoot Anaconda when he heard Anubis. Liam looked up at Nova Team and groaned, seeing them on the ground was never good. Especially when they worked strictly with The Consultant. Liam: Anubis, to what do I owe the pleasure? Liam kept his gun trained on Anaconda, just in case. Meanwhile: Emma kept her shotgun raised on Nighthawk while Jessica lowered hers. They both knew William was hit and were going to need to help him at any second, but they had to stay close to Nighthawk. Emma cocked her shotgun, they would end this. Here and now. Emma fired her shotgun point blank at Nighthawk, hitting him once in the chest and sending him backwards. She fired again, as he fell straight into the wall behind him. Jessica began to move away to assist William and Desmond. Emma stayed near Nighthawk and chuckled. Emma: No witty come back this time? Meanwhile, Savannah worked her down the stairs as fast as she could, she could hear Furium chasing after her, his giant footsteps not that far behind hers. She looked around and figured she was at the 10th level. She kept going, if she could get to the fifth floor, she could send him out the window and end this.

[Naked Crook]

Anubis simply looked at Liam as he spoke. Anubis: We are here for The Brute. The Consultant wants him alive. Anubis paused. Anubis: He is still alive...right? It would be very bad for you if he was not. Meanwhile: Nighthawk's HUD was flashing. His HUD signifying that he had sustained a torso injury as a result of some of the Buckshot getting past his Kevlar. Nighthawk was breathing heavily. His body was aching, and his head was killing him, but he still had a bit of fuel in the tank. Nighthawk: Witty? Nah...no mire witty. Nighthawk paused. Nighthawk: I am very done with witty. I am going to try something else now. Nighthawk raised his foot, as he pushed off, charging at Emma, just as she began to cock her shotgun. Nighthawk grabbed a frag grenade off his belt and slid his thumb through the pin, as he deliberately projected a course of action at Emma, who was watching his every move. However, at the last second, Nighthawk went low, as he jumped to the side, slamming the grenade against Emma's magnetic strip on her thigh. Once Nighthawk hit the ground, he covered his head with his arms, as the grenade exploded, tossing Emma across the room, and dropping her to the ground in a smoking heap on the ground. Nighthawk coughed as he got back to his feet. He was a bit shaken from the blast, but no worse than he was before his stunt. He looked back at Emma, and saluted her. Nighthawk: The comeback was not witty...but I bet it hurt....right? Nighthawk simply turned, as he walked off. He only had one of his Magnums, and he was running low on Ammo. His other Magnum was in possession of Jessica...and he had every intention of getting it back. Nighthawk began to walk in the direction that Jessica had walked off in. As he walked, he grabbed his second to last clip, as he reloaded one of his Magnums. Nighthawk then reached into one of his pockets, as he pulled out a data chip. Nighthawk: HAWK...prepare a viral payload, and prepare to upload it to data chip 3. HAWK: Looking for anything specifically? Nighthawk: Something...malicious. I am looking to decommission a set of armor. HAWK: One Firmware flashing coming up. Just inform me when to begin the upload. Nighthawk nodded, as he caught up to Jessica, who was moving towards Xyrho and Desmond. Nighthawk broke out into a full sprint, holstering his Magnum, and holding the data chip in his hands. He ran right at Jessica and jumped right on her back. HAWK: Are you insane? Nighthawk didn't answer. He simply held on, as Jessica spun around to try and shake Nighthawk off. However, Nighthawk had his left arm wrapped around Jessica's throat, as he used his right hand to put the data chip into the back of her helmet. Nighthawk: HAWK! Now! Start a firmware flash! Erase this armors operating system! just as Nighthawk said this, he lost his grip, as he got thrown off and tossed closer to Desmond and Xyrho.. As Nighthawk lay on the ground, he saw Jessica turning to face him. Nighthawk drew his Magnum and aimed at Jessica, but he stopped. when HAWK game him new directions. HAWK: The Elite! Help The Elite! He is fighting The Risk Takers! The Spartan's armor is going to shut down any second. Help the Elite! Nighthawk turned his magnum on Desmond, as he began to fire, shooting Desmond in the back, emptying his entire clip. This gave Xyrho the chance he needed, as he drew an energy dagger from he left hand, and slammed it into Desmond's right leg. Xyrho then used this as Leverage to bring Desmond down to the ground. This gave Xyrho the chance to roll away, and recollect himself. As Xyrho moved away, he used his left hand to grab Nighthawk by the throat and lift him up, back to his feet, releasing him. Xyrho and Nighthawk exchanged a look, but Nighthawk was the one who broke the silence. Nighthawk: Xyrho...I take it? Xyrho nodded. Nighthawk nodded back, as he gave a brief wave Nighthawk: Hi...I'm Nighthawk. Meanwhile: ODST Black Team entered the ground floor, but just as they did, they saw Spartan F-137. Black 1: Son of a bitch...Black 4! Get this asshole! Black 1 pointed down a corrdor, for ODST Black team to find the rear exit of the Apex Applied Research Building. Black 1 laid down fire on Spartan F-137, as Black 4 took aim at the cieling right above the Spartan, firing off a rocket, hitting the roof, and dropping a large pile of debris on the Spartan. Black 1: Good call Black 4. Move it! Black 4 and Black 1 followed behind Jacob, and the other two members of ODST Black Team, as they moved through the corridor, looking for the rear exit. Just as ODST Black Team moved away, Tye burst through the door to the main lobby. He looked around, then saw Spartan F-137 under the debris. Tyber: Spartan...what happened?

[Dark-F137]

The SPARTAN sighed, exasperatedly as his shields recharged. "Enemy ODSTs." He said plainly, grunting as he pushed the debris off of himself, deactivating his VISR as to make eye contact with his Commander. He glanced toward Jesse, who had just now stopped trying to suppress a laugh. "I'm guessing you were chasing those fools?" The armored man asked, bending over and grabbing his knife. "Because if you weren't, there isn't a reason they should be running. Speaking of which..." He pointed at the corridor which Black team ran down. "They went that way. Do you require assistance, commander?"

[Naked Crook]

Tyber: We were in pursuit of those ODSTs. Tye paused. Tyber: And I would not mind the extra firepower. However...before I even enlist your help...I am curious to know whose command you are under. What Unit? Where were you stationed? How did you get here and where did you come from?

[Kairu]

Arman looked at Hoffman while the other three still had their weapons pointed at him. Arman: "Corporal, get him restrained. I'm sure Commander Vernette would like their chance. Sergeant, get him some biofoam for his wound." Robertson: "What about the duo?" Arman: "That's up to the Commander to decide, not our business." Robertson: "I'm sure that Brute would love his chance at this guy." Arman: "What happens to him isn't our business." Axlon moved in behind Hoffman, pulling out some zipties and began to restrain Hoffman. Arman: "You are hereby being arrested for treason to the UEG and her affiliates pursuant UEG Article C, Section 4, paragraph 23. You will be taken to the commanding officer for further questioning. Do you understand?" Vhat poked out of cover and saw Desmond break pursuit towards Xyrho and William. Vhat came out of cover to pursue Desmond. He began firing three shot bursts at Desmond to distract him.

"Ah. Well, I was stationed in a small base not far from this city, when the Trust took over... We couldn't mount an assault without your help, so we waited. My Unit... Is nonexistent as of now. I originally was in a small special operations unit, but as you can see, the invasion has exhausted many resources. And as of this invasion... I am under your command, sir."
