Reynolds: "I fully understand, Vice-Admiral. I'm willing to take my role in all this. If there is nothing else, I presume you want me back on my ship before Harrison or the others realize I'm gone?" Meanwhile: Robertson: "By the looks, we're together for this. You up for it?" Calhoun: "If you have doubts, I'm sure Captain Frost would let you return to the Spaceport." Robertson: "Oh no, I have no doubts, I'm just concerned that we are not up to full strength." Calhoun: "We'll be fine. C'mon, this base isn't going to blow itself up." Robertson smiled briefly, only dismissing it with his concerns. Robertson: "Still, I have a baaaad feeling about all of this."

[Hells Sniper]

Harrison had since returned to his flagship and was in his observation deck. Harrison: VI, contact Captain Reynolds and Commander Burke, I need to see them immediately. Meanwhile: Athios looked over to Carmicle and the rest of his crew. Athios: Alright, Suicide Squad...move into the facility, sweep the main room. Regroup once it's done. The two warthogs immediately went down the road and made it's way towards the facilities. Concurrently: Jacob had left the office a few minutes earlier and was making his way through the facility. He knew the rest of the UNSC force was about to begin the attack on the facility. He knew, at best, he had a good half hour before they got far enough into the facility for the Trust to begin a retreat. He knew what he had to do, the Trust officer knew something, he said something that just clicked inside Jacob. The Trust was still looking at him, watching his movements, and if that was true, they were watching his families, his wife, newborn children, father, mother, brother. Everyone. They were watching them, which meant anything they tried to get Jacob to do, he would have to do. Jacob had a new mission now...it wasn't just about humanity anymore. It was about everything he held dear to him. Jacob held his assault rifle high, he moved through the hallways of the facility, occasionally a Trust ODST would pop out and Jacob would fire a few rounds from assault rifle, hitting most, if not all, in the head. Jacob kept moving, he was hoping to get to the center fast, that's when he hear something. ???: I told you everything I know about him... Jacob stopped, he turned around trying to find the voice. ???: I highly doubt that. You two were, more than close. Jacob heard the voice in the room, he looked inside. There was nobody. ???: I don't see how that has anything to do with it. Jacob looked at the terminal, his eyes widened. ???: Oh, Mrs. Pinestar, that has everything to do with it.

[Erex]

Sergei and Havoc was moving at the same pace as Suicide squad. Sergei: We'll cover the exterior of the facility make sure there are no escape routes. Sergei then veered off the road and began to sweep for any tunnels leading to the outside from the facility.

[Naked Crook]

Jennifer, Tye,and Cameron were on an approach for the main entry to ONI Installation Desert. As they approached the front entry way, they were met by Nighthawk. Nighthawk: Are you three going in? Tyber: Yeah. Nighthawk: Room for one more? Jennifer: I see no harm in it. Besides...it would not hurt to have you along. You may be more useful than detrmental. Nighthawk: Awww...you wound me Captain. Nighthawk reached to his side, and drew one of his Magnums, and held it in both of his hands, his barrel aimed downwards. Nighthawk: I believe our firat goal should be to make it to the inner area's of the facility. History tells me that The Trust like to put their most important assets at the center of a facility. Typically, we will either find the internal network...or some kind of hardware. Perhaps both if we are lucky. Jennifer: Now...when you say hardware...what do you mean? Nighthawk: I dunno. This is The Trust we are talking about...it is like a lottery ticket every time. Cameron was still on point, with Nighthawk, Tye, and Jennifer behind Cameron. Meanwhile: Burke was on The King Raven's bridge. He was currently dealing with damage assessment to the ship, and coordinating the crew towards repairs. Burke was looking over a duty roster that a junior officer had handed to him. Burke: I want Engineering Teams Alpha, Bravo, Delta, and Gamma working on restoring as many of our Afrcher pods as they can. Engineer teams Ilo, Jasper, and Lambda should be working on the most critical areas of the super structure or ensuring that emergency bulkheads remain sealed. Burke paused. Burke: I want Damage control Teams Ceti, Kappa, Zeta patching up minor damage and ensuring that backup systems are capable of responding at a moments notice. Burke handed the duty roster back to the junior officer. The junior officer saluted, and left the bridge. However, before Burke could see to another series of logistics, he was summoned by his comms officer. Communication's Officer: Sir...we have an incoming message from The Vigorous Inferno. Admiral Harrison wishes to see you right away. Burke sighed. Burke: Is it urgent? Communication's Officer: It doesn't say. Burke rolled his eyes, as he turned to face the communications officer. Burke: Reply with an acknowledgement...and inform him that I am on my way. Meanwhile: Yates nodded at Reynolds. Yates: Yes...I want you to return to your ship as soon as Novak is finished working his magic. I would go and talk with Novak to get an update. Typically, the process is rather quick. THe longest I have ever seen someone inside of that Covenant Medical Pod was a day... Yates paused. Yates: And that was after Novak...ran someone over in a Warthog...several times...to test how well the fully calibrated machine worked. Yates shook his head. Yates: Like I said...he had his medical license revoked a while back. He was a bit of a nut. he still is a bit of a nut.

[Erex]

Sergei stops the warthog and gets out when he uncovers what appeared to be a man hole. He then contacts Commander Vwrnette Sergei: Commander Vernette we found a hatch outside the complex two mikes from enterelance to facility. Permission to enter and investigate to see if it is an escape route?

[Kairu]

Calhoun and Robertson moved forward. They moved in close, climbing out of the warthog and moving into the facility. They began navigating a small part of the facility. Robertson then engaged a conversation with Calhoun privately. Robertson: "What do you think we'll find?" Calhoun: "We wouldn't be here if we knew, would we?" Robertson: "I'm just curious. What kind of group goes rogue from ONI? Is that even possible?" Calhoun: "Cut the chatter, Sergeant." Robertson: "I just don't trust it. I mean, ONI is already hush hush. It makes one wonder what they could be doing to cause a group to go full rogue instead of going back into the UNSC." Calhoun: "Because whether anyone admits it or not, the UNSC can't function without ONI. ONI's purpose is to supply the UNSC with everything it needs to function." Robertson: "You think it could be Insurrectionists?" Calhoun: "Does it matter? Captain Frost has declared this as a live fire zone. End of discussion." Robertson was going to continue his talk but decided it wouldn't be worth the effort. Meanwhile: Reynolds was about to speak when Anderson radioed him. Anderson: "Captain Reynolds, Admiral Harrison is requesting you for a meeting. What are your orders?" Reynolds: "Inform him I will be there at first opportunity. Tell him I'm indisposed right now." Anderson: "Yes Sir." Reynolds brought his attention back to Yates. Reynolds: "Harrison is asking for a Brass Meeting. If a pelican left here, how well would I be able to slip aboard the Vigerous Inferno without raising suspicion?"

[Naked Crook]

Yates thought about it, and then shook his head. Yates: Harrison is a tricky one. I don't want to take chances with him. If you are going to meet with Harrison...you should arrive on his ship with a Pelican that has the markings for The Mind's Attrition. I would suggest you rrturn to your own ship bdfore meeting with Harrison. Yates paused. Yates: We can give you a lift back to your own ship. It is the least we can do...since wd brought you here to begin with. To avoid raising Harison's attention...you should leave right away. Rest assured we will get Cochraine back on her feet...and we will get her back to you ASAP. Meanwhile: Tye was about to answer Sergai, but Jennifer stopped Tye. Jennifer then raised Sergai on the comm. Jennifer: Sergai...let me say this once, and once only...if you are going to request permission to do something, you request it from the senior most officer who is in charge of this excursion. That officer is me. I do not appreciate it when my subordinates try to give me the run-around. If you try that again...I will snap you back so hard, you will think you were in basics all over again. Is that clear?.

[Hells Sniper]

The two warthogs carrying the Suicide Squad rolled right into the main room of the facility. Troy and Paul rotated the turrets around the room. They couldn't see or hear anything. Athios, Jaclyn, Carmicle and Folee all hopped out of the hog and their weapons immediately went up. They scanned the area, and just as Athios was about to give the signal to move, they came under heavy fire. Two or three squads of ODSTs had burst out from the destroyed area and began fire on the group. Troy automatically opened fire on the closet group of ODSTs in front of him, gunning down two or three of them. Paul began to pick off pieces of cover as he fired his guass cannon at the cover. The rest of the squad hid behind their closest cover. Athios: Hot zone! Open fire! Athios fired his rifle from behind his warthog and took down an ODST. They continued this until more UNSC marines began to pour into the area and lay down even more fire on the Trust. Meanwhile: Harrison had received word from Burke and got the message from Reynolds as well. Harrison: Indisposed? He sure as hell better be doing something important. How is the fleet? VI: Repairs are running smoothly, Admiral. The Officers know their job, we should be at full combat ability within three hours. Harrison: Make it an hour. VI: Yessir. Meanwhile: Jacob leaned on the terminal as the recording played. Pinestar: I disagree. We are friends, nothing more. ???: Oh, Mrs. Pinesta-- Pinestar: That's Captain Pinestar to you. There was a large banging noise in the recording. ???: Your rank means nothing to me! Where is he? Pinestar: I have no idea. The recording went to static. Jacob: Lisa? They have you too...when was this recording? A voice spoke out. ???: June 12, 2535. Jacob's weapon went upwards. He looked around. Jacob: Who are you? ???: I am this base's artificial intelligence. Jacob grinned. Jacob: Can you get me more of these files? Base AI: Not without proper authorization. Jacob tilted his head, he would hope this would still work. Jacob: My name is Jacob Sharpmen, acting Agent of the Office of Naval Intelligence. There was a momentary pause. Base AI: Report to Sector 231-Alpha-Lima for files. Jacob smiled as his HUD was updated with the new coordinates. He smiled and ran off.

[Kairu]

Reynolds: "Alright, thank you Sir. I am trusting you on this. I will be sure to relay information to you after the meeting is set. Do you still want me using the same frequency, or now that I'm in on the whole Trust thing, is there a more proper channel?"

[Naked Crook]

Yates shook his head. Yates: Use the frequency I gave you before. All of our main frequencies contain enhanced security that is heavily dependent on transponder authentication. We have yet to authorize your transponder ID for use on our comms network. These measures are in place to prevent spying and eavesdropping. Just as Yates said this, an alarm began to sound on The Ulterior Motive. Yates looked up, then back at Reynolds. Yates: Reynolds...as much as I would love to stay and chat...I cannot. That alarm indicates...that I have to get to work. Excuse me. I trust you can see yourself to the hanger bay. Just board the same PelicN that you used to get here. A lilot will be waiting to take you back to your ship. With that, Yates turned, and ran off...heading to the bridge. Meanwhile: Black Team, who were also on The Ulterior Motive, also heard the alarm. They know that the alarm they heard meant that The Trust was under attack. These were the response missions that defined Black Team. They knew that this was going to be an all hands on deck mission...and the the next engagement was going to be big. Black 1: Alright boys..lock and load and report to the bridge. Meanwhile: Burke had left The King Raven, and was in a Pelicsn that was en-route to The Vigorous Inferno. As the Pelican was on approach, the pilot began to transmit ajthentication codes and a docking request.
