Jennifer: Hold on...before we do that, we have to really think here...would they really have enough explosives to actually rig each and every single Warthog that is available?
Tyber: If they came prepared to do it, yes. However...I have never known Black Team NOT to be prepared.
Jennifer: I see.
Jennifer paused.
Jennifer: Do we have another way out of here?
Tyber: I have been giving that some thought...and I cannot think of one off hand that would be reliable.
Cameron: That means we have no alternative than to face Black Team, head to head.
Tyber: Unfortunately. THis is not something that I look forward to anytime it could become a reality. These men are dangerous.
Tye sighed.
Tyber: Despite that...we have to face these guys sooner or later. It might as well be now. Alright...forget finding a new way out. We are going to go right through Black Team.
Cameron nodded.
Cameron: Yes sir!
Tye raised his weapon. Jacob, Jennifer, and Cameron did the same. Before Tye gave the order to move out, he looked back to Dangerus.
Tyber: I have no idea what your motivation was...but I appreciate the heads up. If we kill any member of Black Team...feel free to eat their body...as a reward...or whatever. I don't really care.
Tye then gestured his hand forward.
Tyber: Alright...move out! Let's do this. Weapons up, shoot to kill!
Tye began to walk forward, with the other three in tow. This moment was a long time coming for him. As he got closer and closer to the evac point, he stopped.
Tyber: Alright...this is how it will go down. Cameron, you go in first. I will follow in after you. Jennifer, Jacob...I want you two to pick to vehicles, and inspect them as quickly, but as carefully as you can. Look for any explosive device latched onto the car. If I recall correctly, Black 4 typically places explosive devices wither on the rear bumper, or on the front bumper, whichever is more accessible. CHeck those areas first, and then give it a very quick once over. If you find that the car is clear...start up your respective vehicle...and we will simply get the hell out of there.
Cameron: Sounds good.
Tyber: Jacob...the moment we clear the point where you had your boys rig the tunnel with explosives...detonate them. I don't want them following.
Meanwhile:
Commander Burke was still on the bridge of The King Raven. He was immediately informed of the fully established uplink to the rest of the Navy.
Operations Officer: Sir...we are getting a signal from out ground operations. It seems Harrison's team was successful in setting up their new uplink.
Burke: Are we getting anything valuable?
Operations Officer: No, but we are able to query the current status of all of our ground forces, to isolate positioning and status. From whhat I can tell, Captain Reynolds is currently doing this, as we speak. He seems to be in the process of updating our visuals and overlay maps.
Burke: Excellent. Excellent.
Burke paused.
Burke: Contact our senior-most officer at UNSC AIrfield Mayweather. I am going to want an update from him. We might as well start gathering up-to-date logistics.
Burke looked over at the officer situated at the communications center.
Burke: Open a secured channel, fleet wide bandwidth, and address it to the senior-most officer currently station at UNSC Airfield Mayweather. Whoever it is, get them on the horn. I want to know their current situation.
