On the Goldbane: Garry sees on the digital battlefield, seeing an opportunity to shot at the Ulterior motive, while being in the formation. Garry: Sir! We've got a perfect line to shot at the Ulterior Motive, with our MAC gun! While remaining into the formation! William: Well, Hayes told us to shot at it when we got the chance, only if we remained in the formation, and not leave it... Shot the MAC gun at it, Garry. It'll not do so much damage, but it'll do some. Garry: Yes, sir! Garry starts to coordinate at the Ulterior motive, moments later the Goldbane shots it's MAC gun towards The Ulterior Motive.

Hayes frowned when he heard what Tylan had suggested. Hayes: Negative Commander...you do not jam ONI frequencies unless I explicitly order you to! I will not have you making spur the moment decisions like last time! Do nothing else until ordered too! Hayes shook his head in utter frustration with Tylan. He was getting annoyed with Tylan's constant insistence to do things without being ordered to. Temple: Sir...it seems The Trust have begun shifting their comm frequencies into the range that ONI uses. This potentially has the capacity to either very good or very bad for us. With The Trust now operating on the ONI comm range...we can hear their comm chatter... Hayes: But we can hear theirs? Temple: Correct. Again...this could be either very good or very bad. Hayes: Keep me posted Temple! In the mean time...order our ships to resume fire! Meanwhile: Trust Officer: Sir...all ships have shifted into the ONI comm range. We have established full communication with our fleet again. Kolya: Good...order immediate deployment of all Longswords and order them to engage the ONI ships behind us. Order the rest of our ships to make a run right for the large ONI cluster. We are going to shoot our way past them. Order our ships to fire everything they have! Trust Officer: Sir! We are being targeted by one of the ONI ships...The Goldbane. They are preparing to fire their MAC? Kolya: Take evasive action... The Ulterior Motive moved its position. They were unable to fully evade the MAC round, as it impacted an armored portion of their port-aft section, tearing the ablative armor from their hull. Trust Officer: Sir...we have lost a portion of ablative armor on our port-aft! Should I take us about and fire out MAC? Kolya: Negative...hit them with lock-on Archer missiles. Return to them what they gave us! Target all Archer missiles on that ship and open fire! The Ulterior Motive fired off a full volley of Archer missiles. The lock on for the missiles caused the missiles to turn once fired, and begin to home in on The Goldbane. Trust Officer: Fire volley away...65 archer missiles confirmed on course for the Goldbane. Impact in 10 seconds.

The Draco's deck guns started to fire non-stop at the ablative armor on the Ulterior Motive Sygma 1: Sygma Squadron here they come As soon as that was said Trust Sabres were in the air Sygma 1: Missile locked on to me Sygma 2: Rodger, on intercept course Sygma 2 fired his autocannons at the missile path and shot it down Sygma 1: Thanks Sygma 2: Thats what I'm here fo..... Sygma 2 was shot down by a deck gun

William sees the missiles coming in their direction. William: Evasive manouvers! Garry: To late sir! The missiles will hit us in three, two, one! The missiles hits almost everywhere on the frontier part of Goldbane. William falls off his Command chair as the missiles hit. Garry: Sir! We got injured, dead crew all over the ship! It's burning on the frontier sections aswell! William stands up and sits on the command chair, saying. William: Ugh.. Send a transmission to Hayes, ask him if he still need us. And send medics, repair and fireteams all over the frontier ship. We need to save everyone, and everything we need from there. Garry nods at William and begins to work.

The Crimson Shadow was firing every weapon they had. Deck guns, auto cannons, and archer missile pods were all active. All Saber and Longsword teams were out and about, defended the Crimson Shadow. Harrison was standing on the bridge, he was leaning on the holographic table. It was showing the Trust and ONI navy positions. Shadow was standing next to him. Harrison: Trust frigate..here. Harrison pointed to one of the frigates. Harrison: Fire archer missile pods 60-75 on the the starboard side. That should give us a shot at the Ulterior Motive. Shadow: Should I ready the MAC? Harrison: Yes, once the frigate is cleared get a lock on the Motive and fire. Shadow: Aye, aye, Admiral. Firing upon Trust frigate. As Shadow finished 15 pods of archer missiles shot from the Crimson Shadow, they headed towards the Trust frigate, blowing away it's ablative armor and hitting the hull. The frigate slowly began to lose altitude. Shadow: 15 seconds til lock.

Temple looked at the sensor readout. Temple: Sir...The Goldbane has taken significant damage to their hull. They are requesting to fall back. Hayes: Give them the green light! Helm...move us into position so we are between the line of fire of The Ulterior Motive and The Goldbane. We need to give The Goldbane the time to fall back. Request Rear Admiral Burke to alter his position to try and cover the gap we are going leave. Temple: Understood sir! Hayes looked at the sensor readout. Hayes: Begin targeting the Trust Support ships...start picking them off one by one. HAWK: Targets acquired...firing... Meanwhile: Trust Officer: Sir...we have lost severl of our support ships. There is a gap in our line...and according to our readings...The Crimson Shadow has a clear line of fire on us. I am detecting a power build up in their MAC gun...I believe they are preparing to fire...on us. We will not survive the impact... Kolya: I am aware of this... Kolya looked at the sensor readout. He saw that The Trust Frigate Amazon was still fully operational. Kolya grinned. Kolya: Send a message to The Amazon...tell them to turn around...and plot a collision course for The Crimson Shadow. We will see how dedicated to the cause Admiral Harrison is. Either Harrison takes us out...and puts his entire ship and crew in grave jeopardy with a ship to ship collision...or he turns away to stop The Amazon from colliding with him...thus blowing his chance to put me out of my misery. Lets see what kind of man he is...a man that is loyal to the mission...or to his crew...

Shadow: Admiral...the Trust frigate Amazon is on a direct collision course. If we do not take evasive action we will suffer massive casualties. Harrison: And lose the Ulterior Motive. Harrison crossed his arms, he stood straighter, pondering the situation. Shadow: 40 seconds until impact. Harrison watched the hologram of the Trust frigate, he scanned the battlefield, trying to figure out any plan where he could take out the Ulterior Motive and survive. Shadow: 35 seconds. Harrison stared at the map, he saw a second gap in the line a few hundred kilometers behind the Amazon. If he could use the high capacity engines, he could turn the Crimson Shadow to face the Amazon, take it out with the MAC, and have another shot to fire a barrage of archer missiles at the Ulterior Motive. Harrison: Shadow! Inform Hayes we have to break formation in order to evasive action. Full thrusters to engines, I want us turned around and facing the Amazon! Shadow: Admiral...you only have 30 seconds! Harrison turned to the helmsman. Harrison: Helms...give me your seat. The helmsman nodded and sat up, Harrison took his seat. Shadow stood behind him, examining his movements. Harrison was using the engines for exactly what he designed them for, to cut the turning radius on the Crimson Shadow. He had to be precise, any miscalculation or movement could jeopardize the lives of his crewman. But, Harrison had been doing this for years. With the use of the engines, Harrison was able to make a turn that could have taken a minute in a little less 20 seconds. The Crimson Shadow was now on a direct intercept course of the Amazon. Harrison smiled and returned to the holographic table. Harrison: Shadow, get a lock on the Amazon. Fire on my mark. The Crimson Shadow was mere seconds away from crashing into the Amazon when Harrison spoke again. Harrison: Mark. The Crimson Shadow fired the MAC round at the incoming Trust frigate, smashing a hole right in the middle of it. The frigate split in two and exploded, no one could have survived. Harrison: Fire archer missile pods 76 to 125 on the Ulterior Motive.

Tylan: Theta squadron please kill the engines on Ulterior Motive ensure they can't bug out. Theta 1:A little busy Tylan: You kill the engines now Theta: Rodger Theta and sygma squads started to damage the engine units causing the engine units to stop dead the engine units Tylan:Kill them show no mercy Galen:All guns are firing Tylan: They gonna try to kill the Crimson then the Draco shall be the demise of the Ulterior Motive, fire all archer missiles at them charge the MAC cannon. Galen: 15 seconds till lock on Galen: 10 seconds Galen: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 The Draco's MAC cannon fires and puts a huge hole in the Ulterior Motive's Ablative armor exposing the ship to directed weapons systems. Tylan: Fire all Archer Missiles in that hole The Draco fires all archers at the hole

On the Goldbane: Garry get's green light from Hayes. Garry: Sir! We've got green light from Hayes! William: Turn the ship around and get us in a safe distance from the battle, it'll give us time to repair the ship. And give some power to the engines, I want Goldbane out of the battle. Garry: Yes, sir! Garry begins to press some buttons. Goldbane begins to turn around and fly away from the battlefield, to a safe distance.

Kolya looked at the damage readout on his ship. He saw that large portions of the ablative armor had been either critically damaged or totally destroyed. Trust Officer: Sir...we are taking hits on all sides...the ablative armor is beginning to fail. One of the ONI Destroyers just punched a hole in another portion of our armor...and we have multiple hull breaches... Kolya: What is our current position? Trust Officer: We are still on course to try and break through the large cluster of ONI ships. However...at the present rate we are losing ships...I doubt we will be able to make it through, and clear their position for a safe transition of slip space. All but 4 of our ships have been destroyed. The other four are taking heavy fire...but are content to go down fighting. We can't hold out much longer... Kolya was silent for a moment. Kolya: Prepare to adjust our heading...plot a descent trajectory into the atmosphere of Paris IV...60 degree vector...maximum speed... Trust Officer: Sir...at that vector...the odds of us surviving re-entry at top speeds are marginally thin... Kolya: I am aware of the difficulties. Plot a course...and prepare for an in-atmosphere jump... Trust Officer: Aye sir. Should I inform our other ships? Kolya: No...but tell them that if anyone begins pursuit of us...use any and all force to stop them. Trust Officer: Aye sir...
