[Halo] New! Halo RPG Pt. 11

[Kairu]

Aelis and Edward finally rounded up what they thought was the last of the stragglers. They came up through the back of the clones, mowing them down and their gunners 'softening the wave.' Aelis didn't let up on the gas until she was right in front of the ONI Building doors. Her mind was sent on giving revenge to the Spartan. Aelis: "Captain Hayes! We've round up the marine stragglers and have reached the building, do you need back up inside or do you need us to assist?"

[Naked Crook]

Hayes could hear Aelis contact him over the comm. He responded. Hayes: Aelis...we could use you as backup inside the base. We are going to need to throw everything at these bastards if we are going to stop them! Hayes blind fired from cover. Hayes: The sooner...the better...

[Kairu]

The pair hightailed it into the base. Aelis: "Rendezvous in roughly 30 seconds." They managed to catch up. She fired her SMG for the first time since touching down on the planet, hardly letting up on the trigger until it ran out of ammo. Edward on the other hand took immediate cover by Dallas. Edward: "Hey! What's up? I'm Edward." Aelis took cover to reload. She wasn't worried about the mission anymore, she was more worried about revenge.

[Hells Sniper]

Dallas: It's Dallas, Edward...stay sharp soldier. Dallas fired off some of his assault rifle, giving cover for Oak, Ten, and Pitts to move across to a different hallway.

[Kairu]

Edward also shot a couple shells at the ODSTs. He went behind cover and reloaded those shells. Aelis moved forward with the other group firing her SMG continuously.

[Naked Crook]

Hayes looked around. He knew that it was not going to be easy getting past the entrenched position of ODST Black Team. Hayes then had an idea. He looked to his left and saw several signs on the wall. They read as follows. CAFETERIA ARMORY SERVER ROOM Hayes smirked. He then looked at Dallas. Hayes: Dallas...I have an idea...

[Hells Sniper]

Dallas fired his assault rifle. Dallas: Yes, sir?

[Naked Crook]

Hayes: Chances are...Kolya has entered the main control center and he is trying to access the ONI Information Net from there. We might not be able to get to him in time...but... Hayes pointed down the direction of the corridor. Hayes: We can get to the server room. If we take that room out...we can cut this bases access to the ONI Information net...and the Trust will have failed their mission. I am going to head in that direction and see if I can take the servers out.

[Hells Sniper]

Dallas nodded. Dallas; Dakota and I are coming to Cap. Dallas and Dakota followed Captain Hayes, but Dakota told TF117 one last thing on their secured channel. Dakota: Keep them occupied!

[Naked Crook]

Hayes nodded. Hayes: Let's go...keep your heads down. If we hurry...we can shut down the servers before they can access our remote domains on J-2-Alpha. Hayes cocked his shotgun, and then took point, leading Dallas and Dakota to the server room.
