Alright guys, here is some important stuff that you need to know. As most of you know, my main job is to make sure TNO is visible on the internet. One of the best ways to do this is through Alexa Ranking. What is Alexa Ranking? Alexa is basically a large internet database that measures various aspects of a website. The closer your ranking is to 1, the better. As of writing this post, we are about 7.6 million...which considering the fact that there are about 346 million websites on the net in total, is pretty good. But we can do better. How can we do better? Well...there are a two ways we can do better. 1. If you go to THIS URL you can view our Alexa page. If you go to that URL and write a review on our site, by giving us 5 stars and saying a few nice things, this will increase our site ranking. You will need to register a quick account in order to write a review. Be sure to give 5 stars to our site, that is the most important. Please try to avoid any names, and just focus on commenting on how great the site was. Give a few examples of how nice the community is or how easy the site is to navigate. 2. Go to THIS URL and install the toolbar. I think it only works with IE and Firefox. This one is optional but it helps for sure. If you install the toolbar, you will get a small little icon somewhere on your web browser that, if clicked, navigates to TNO, and improves our site ranking. This is what the icon looks like: If you install the toolbar, always click that icon to visit TNO. That is a very important step. The Toolbar is very simple and very non-intrusive. Doing this stuff should defiantly help us for sure. I should point out that participation in this is TOTALLY optional. You guys are not expected to do anything that I have asked, but it would be nice if you could take a few moments and help out a bit.
