Meanwhile: Back on Doisac, Barrabus, Vernette, Tye, and Jennifer were sitting at a large stone table with several other high ranking Brutes. There was a ton of food on the table. Vernette was in the middle of telling a story. Vernette: So...there I was...face to face with a Covenant Super Carrier...and the only weapon I had was a stolen slipspace core. The Elites wanted nothing more than to take their property back...to get it out of our hands. They had their Super Carrier in ELO...hovering right above the city. Krysus: What happened next Human? Vernette: Well...I decided to let the Elites have their stolen slipspace core back...but not before I rigged that thing to explode on a single remote command. The explosion was glorious. I destroyed the entire city...tens of thousands of Elites were killed...possibly over 100 thousands deaths. The entire Super Carrier was destroyed was almost completely destroyed,, aside from the front section, which was utterly beyond any sort of repair or use. Vernette paused. Vernette: I think I single handidly did more damage to Paradise Lost than the Covenant did... Vernette laughed. Vernette: True story...

[Hells Sniper]

Dangerus was eating a thornbeast while listening to Vernette's story. Dangerus: Paradise Lost... I remember as if it were yesterday. Dangerus paused. Dangerus: You did do damage to the super carrier, I watched the entire thing from orbit!

Vernette: Yep. Wasn't an easy decision...but it had to be done... Barrabus looked at Vernette. Barrabus: Weren't you court martialed for destroying that city? Vernette: Ohhh...hell yeah. The UNSC was pissed... Vernette paused. Vernette: Not that I cared.

Dangerus continued to eat, he was enjoying his thornbeast. Dangerus: But you came back...you always came back!

Dangerus laughed and shoved more thornbeast down his gullet.

Vernette looked at the food on his plate. He watched as Dangerus and the other Brutes ate. Part of him felt really out of place, watching these massive creatures just slamming the food back. Vernette hid his discomfort however, and he used a knife to begin cutting away at some of the food on his plate. Vernette: Anyway...anyone here got anything interesting to tell? I feel like I am carrying the entuire conversation here... Meanwhile: Back on the King Raven...Graves was becoming annoyed. Once again he heavily sedated Nero. Graves then looked at the Marines standing guard. Graves: I want Nero put into cryo stasis. This guy is becoming annoying...and I cannot stand him anymore! I cannot get any work done! I am gonna let the shrinks on on J-2-Alpha deal with this guy. The Marines nodded. Marine: Aye sir! Graves: Freezing him into a state of metabolic hibernation will keep his mouth shut. Graves turned back and added a single note to Nero's profile. RECOMMENDATION: PERMANENT DISCHARGE FROM ACTIVE SERVICE...

Dangerus was too busy eating his thornbeast to tell an entire story. He simply added a few words in between his bites. Dangerus: Mating season has been going well. After that he continued eating.
