Evolution vs Creationism

I'm not I'm proving that creationism is real, but evolution everything about it denies God. and that this world is a secular world and we will believe in secular things, thats why we shouldn't have ever made it "illegal" to teach creationism in schools and choose something that hasn't really been proven. Creationist believe God created the world, Evolution says we evolved and that we were not created by a supreme being. God is a supreme being. but evolution denies that, therefore removes gods power.

No.. teaching God is never enough. We can never teach about God enough. But there is also grace in God thats why he is th ebest. Christianity is about serving others, and take it for what you believe but here is something that many people say we are hypocrits. Well that is also true because we go to church on sunday act like christians, but on monday we act like the world. I'm guilty of it to. But we can never teach enough.

Personally, my vote goes to science and evolution. However, if you want me to get technical, I will also say that humans did not originate on this planet. The way I look at it is like this: 1. The Big Bang Theory - There is evidence of it's existence and there are some artifacts dating back to the estimated time of the initial explosion. 2. Gravity soon kicks in around larger mass objects, and the compression of gravity over time, is how stars and galaxies, and every celestial body was formed. 3. As for the birth of humans, this is where I start to break off a bit from the initial subject. I feel that the DNA for humans came from another world or alien race. (My theory based off of my mother's belief mixed with the Star Trek TNG episode The Chase. I choose to think this because I doubt "prehistoric humans" could evolve in the early Earth climate. Now as I read some of the previous posts, the topic of religion has come up and lemme answer all of these common theories. Here's where I think "Christianity" and other religions come in: In my beliefs, I feel that aliens do exist and for whatever reason, they periodically check up on us. Think of us as their forgotten child/experiment and they check on us from time to time to make sure we don't totally blow ourselves up. Now how does this tie into Religion? Like this: Would it be so farfetched that maybe 'angels' are actually these aliens? Hear me out on this. Suppose we go back to the time the Old Testament was written. The aliens descend to the surface and rendezvous with humans all around Earth. Like the Aztecs and other Central Americans thought Europeans were Gods, but instead these foreign looking entities are treated like Gods. I would think it's a safe assumption that the aliens tried to explain who they were and since the human's brain is/was limited at the time, the way to illustrate and portray these aliens is to make them Human and give them wings, since they can fly. This theory also explains how the Pyramids, Stonehenge, Easter Island, and other wonders came to be, when its construction seems not humanly possible. This theory would also explain why there are so many different religions and in each different gods and goddesses.

Kairu does raise a good point. But see...where this all leads us is speculation on our origins. Scientists do that too... But Erex...while I would agree that you can never teach people enough, the fastest way to drive people away from the faith is to force it on resistant people. If people want to subscribe to the notion of Christian, they will take it upon themselves to open up and want to learn about it. But you cannot force it on people. You have to be careful about that. You hurt your own cause when you drive people away. Speaking strictly from a perspective of open-mindedness...what Kairu suggests isn't far fetch at all. We are a grain of sand in the desert that is the cosmos...anything could be out there.

People have the right to deny evolution, it's a human right everyone has here in developed countries, it's what sets us apart from countries like North Korea...and the middle east... What you are doing, in creating this thread, is forcing your beliefs on people, who do not share the same opinions with you. People are free to choose what they believe in. I am fine with not knowing anything. Did God create everything? Maybe Did we evolve from monkeys? Maybe Is the earth thousands of years old? Maybe Is the earth billions of years old? Maybe. I'm locking this thread...God knows what it might evolve into...
