I'd say the new series has a few gems here and there, primarily the episodes based around clone troopers, since they seem to be the only interesting characters on the show.

Despite being...well, clones.

I wouldn't praise the original too much, every episode was 5 minutes long. I remember being so infuriated with it watching it on TV because the credits and opening title were 2/5 of the entire episode.

If these were "shorts" that only lasted 3 minutes...why did the animators waste 30 seconds on an elevator ride?

at first, these were just 5 minute shorts, released weekly, then they were clumped together in a 1 hour timeslot

(the opening intro and credits weren't edited out)

and then they released it on DVD, where the credits were cut out, but not the intro
