To reserve the battery for his NV equipment, he kept them off and relied on his eyesight. Along the way, there were several rocky hills and steep slides, but the soldiers moved surprisingly fast through the terrain.

Stotl was bored, so he decided to play dick and pretended to climb over imaginary obstacles just to see what the person behind him would do.
