343 Industries talk about another Halo game

So, me and my cousin were talking about Halo and what not, and he started to tell me that he searched stuff about Halo 4(?) and 343 Industries. He said that it would either be Halo 4 or a REMAKE of Halo: CE. GameSpy 343 Industries Staff Hunt 343 Industries Job Page Right in this link it states "343 Industries is forging the future of Halo, expanding and building upon one of the most important and successful franchises in gaming history. Halo is a rich and exciting universe that encompasses AAA video games, New York Times best-selling novels, world-class animation and much, much more." June 7-9 is E3 2011...so MAYBE, just maybe they will release something with this, considering Microsoft Games Studios WILL be there. I mean...everything about 343 Industries is HALO. In the link it says "Unnamed Halo video game....343 Industries has been hiring game developers for an unannounced project." They sponsored books, video games, comics, graphic novels. Now, I understand this may just be in the planning stages, considering they're still looking for jobs. But, if it's a remake of Halo: CE...I wanna see how they are going to work that...but if it's Halo 4...I DEFINITELY WANT TO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE PLANNING.

If they make a game...it better be like...NOT REACH. If they return to the design concepts of Halo 3/ODST, then I will support them. If they carry on with the lousy design of Halo Reach...then we have problems. Personally, I am split down the middle of continuing the Halo story. If you finish master chiefs story, there will be no Elite's grunts, Brute, or Marines, and that would be boring. I want to see the Halo Universe, not Masterchief and only Masterchief.

Well, I think I read that they are using Reach's HD engine...which is just making the game HD. As for the Halo Universe thing, that's something they are going to have to figure out. *This is a spoiler for those who haven't finished Halo 3* I mean he was drifting towards a planet in the end, and I heard that it's supposed to be two years after Cortana released the distress signal. Now, the planet could be Onyx, where the other Spartans are, along with Hasley and Mendez...but it also could be an undiscovered planet, and it's definitely Forerunner because the wiki says so. But..I agree with you on the Covenant, that should be involved. *End Spoiler* And as for the Halo CE...it's supposed to be just a remake, so just a new engine and HD or something. But, I don't know, I didn't like playing as the Covenant, unless they can get a good story for a Covenant view point..it could work.

covie veiwpoint would be a nice twist. however, i think 343 would need a big task to kick their company off, so tieng the ends to the MC story is highly likely.... not that i agree with this, but u cant argue that every die-hard halo fan is curious WTF happened to the cheif. I would think if its not a CE remake, then it will either be a halo 4, taking place some time after halo 3, or like an ODST approach and explore on the lore and universe of it all

They said that it's going to be either: 1. Halo: CE remake 2. Halo 4 (takes place two years after Cortana sent the distress signal...and covers the story of MC and Cortana) So, I am almost positive there will be no ODST or Covenant perspective.

I'm sure they will think of something good if they make Halo 4 and covers the story with Master Chief. I mean...they're not gonna just have you wandering around... Hell, maybe there will be some Forerunner talk in there?
