So I was watching some of my new subscribed youtubers and one had reviewed his opinion on this article. I just can't help but think, what fucking idiot thought a computer should 'regret' a decision? But anyways, I was just wondering what you guys think about this.

Computers are simply tools. They're not gonna be making any decisions on their own. That's like programming a gun to have emotions. If I'm going to shoot someone, it's because I want that fucker dead. I don't want the damn gun to lock down or jam itself because of some pansy ass "feelings", lol.

Same thing with Computers. We have yet to make any "REAL" AI's or anything like that. The closest thing we have is simply a language processor that analyzes speech or text and responds based on the analyses. It's basically like a calculator, no thought capability of its own.

But if we have AI's that can act on their own free will, then of course I'd want some kind of ethical roots programmed into them. They're not going to learn morals and emotions on their own.
