these are some poems i made and got full marks for in English.
Timid at times, I
Yearn for greater accomplishements, mostly
Laid back,
Except when irked, I eat
Regularly
This next one's called The Rabit Man. It's a free verse inspired by killerrabbit never being around when we need him. I think Jon was there when I made the first 2 lines.
Wherein does that Rabbit Man Lie?
One can ask, yet never know,
For he hides far down below,
Below the trees, below the fields
And certainly below the sky,
What is the Rabbit Man's name?
One can query but needn't worry,
For he keeps to himself and bothers none,
Perhaps it's Peter, perhaps it's Jack,
You'll never even see his back,
For he moves so fleetingly fast,
His shadow isn't even cast
This next one is a tercet called The Wandering Prophet. It's inspired by like 3 words from the songs "Children Of The Damned" and "Can I Play With Madness" by Iron Maiden.
On and on the Prophet stared,
Yet he saw naught but smoke,
Not that they ever cared,
They disbanded his visions and forced him to the streets,
His poverty made them laugh and scoff,
He wanders the avenues and hates those he meets,
They ignored his prophecies and offered him no aid,
One man tried and was never seen again,
But before he died, he made sure his last debt was paid...
If you read this, some feedback would be nice.
