Type-26 Heavy Ground Support Aircraft - Vampire
The Vampire is the standard Heavy Ground Support Aircraft in the Brute and Elite military forces. It utilizes anti-gravity systems and propulsion jets to move.
Brute Variant
The Brute variant is purple. While it is essentially the same in many respects to the Elite variant, the Brute variant tends to be seen less often then the Elite variant simply due to the existance of the Anti-Air Wraith. Since the Vampire can serve as Anti-Air just as well as the Anti-Air Wraith can, either option a good choice to counter air vehicles.
The Brute variants ustilize a red plasma system for the plasma cannons. The Brute variants are capable of a much faster rate of fire, at the expense of the cooldown of the boost system. The boost system on the Brute variant cannot sustain a constant boost.
Elite Variant
The Elite variant is green. While it is essentially the same in many respects to the Brute variant, the Elite variant tends to be seen more often then the Brute variant simply due to the fact Elites do not have access to the Anti-Air Wraiths.
The Elite variants are more balanced. Elite Vampires utilize a blue plasma system for the plasma cannons with equal distribution of power among the systems, which in turn causes a much slower rate of fire. The boost system on the Elite variant can sustain a constant boost.
