Alright, I know some of ya, may or may not like what I'm about to show you, but I think it's nifty. I've found a game with Fallout 3. But this isn't the F3 we've come to know and formed the love/hate relationship with, noooo Sirrie. This game uses the old engine from the original and sequel of Fallout. Yes, the same engine for Fallout 1 and 2. Pretty cool, huh? I'm not a big fan of the original style of the Fallout games, so I don't plan to try it. But if anyone is willing to try here are the links:

Yea I've read about this version of fallout3. It was called the van buren project and latter dump for the one we play today (all information curtesy of fallout wiki aka the vault)

I think most of us who play Fallout know about "the Vault". I reference to it all the time. And yeah. Kinda unfortunate that it was abandoned. It woulda been nice to see how this would turn out. But I guess this got shut down by Bethesda

Well, In case you were wondering, Van Buren got canceled due to employee layoffs,

So it wasn't shut down by Bethesda
