Okie dokie. Well I'll throw this out and hope it stays afloat for a little while. I present a Star Trek RPG. This is to take place in the 24th century (TNG/DS9/VOY eras) just after the start of the Dominion Wars. Here's a few rules: Logs are required to help people keep updated without having to ask. All factions and all ranks have logs. Most ranks have two kinds of choices: Personal Logs and Mission Logs. Mission log attachments, or supplementals, are optional, but are still helpful whenever possible. Stardates are helpful, however, due to their complex definition, they are optional and not required. [If you choose to use a stardate, I have found a stardate calculator to convert a date into a real star date. Just cut off at the first number after the decimal (57586.3) The earliest date is: October 1, 2373] Limit double posting. It gets messy and sloppy and it's hard to keep up with everyone. Limit choice of words while swearing. After all, this is Star Trek. They never said "fuck". Mild words like "hell", "damn" and "bitch" (in a non-derogatory way) are acceptable. But no further than that. Other standard common sense rules still apply. The Map I will use to identify positions and relative locations in the Quadrant. His parents, who were adhered to Andorian culture, were interested in personal human interaction and so to help they're objective, they raised him under a combonation role of Andorian-Human culture. He made it through Starfleet Command as a well-trained tactical officer. He first served on the USS Lynxian where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He was later transferred to the USS Yukon and he became rose to the rank of Commander. After serving seven years, he was offered the command of the USS Olympian, whose main focus was to patrol the Romulan Neutral Zone.

Thomas was pacing on the bridge of the Olympian waiting for the reply of a Romulan captain. The tactical officer spoke up: Sir, incoming hail from the warbird. Well put it up. Captain Aldritch, I'm afraid we will have to remain neutral in this conflict. The Dominion are on the other side of the quadrant. This is a matter which does not concern us. Please leave before we are forced to open fire. And the communications ended. Helm, turn us around, bearing 254, mark 63. Yessir, engaging. and the Olympian warped back to the Federation side of the Neutral Zone.

[Hells Sniper]

Ethan was sitting in the engine room, he was checking on the engines. (So what exactly are we doing right now?)

(Depends. I chose this time period because of the war. So you can have the ship head towards the Cardasian border, umm I'm by the Neutral Zone. You can go exploring if you want. Pretty much do what you want kind of thing.) The Olympian was travelling at Warp 7 to Starbase 10 when an incoming distress signal was detected. *Static* Thi-- is the --- U-- Mi---nium. Reque--- assi--- at 2-- mark 24, Ze-- Vir---is sy--. The tactical officer spoke up at the end, That's the end of the message. Should we aid them, Sir? We don't even know where they are. We only have partial coordinates. Then the first officer spoke up, Maybe we can look at a star chart and match the partials up to our current location. Yes... That would be an effective method. Do it! And the tactical officer and first officer left the bridge. We'll stay on course for now.

[Hells Sniper]

Ethan was summoned to the bridge. Officer: Sir, plot set for neutral zone. Ethan: Yes, keep the course set, we're going to explore a bit.

[Kairu]

The duo came back to the bridge and the first officer spoke, Helm plot a course for the Zeta Virginis system, maximum warp. The helmsman laid in the coordinates, Aye aye Sir, engaging. The Olympian made the change in course and took off.

The Liberator navigated through space, just exploring. Ethan sat in the command chair.

The Olympia entered the edge of the system, Shields up, Red Alert! and the shields started to cycle and the the weapons charging. Scan the sector, Ensign. Does the ship pick up on sensors? No Sir, long range scanners do pick up an anomalous reading about 10,000 km ahead, no visual yet. Keep me updated, take us in at 3/4 impulse. And the ship slowed down a little bit.

The Liberator traveled through space. Ethan: Any word from... anyone? Officer: No sir, all comm lines are clear... no one is hailing us. Ethan nodded and turned back towards space, he stared, motionless.
