The problem with clones is that sometimes...well...they do not retain their individual memories...and they can have issues with social interaction. It would take some time but...it is possible. Delta: Well...Vernette named me Subject Delta...I guess to signify his 3rd attempt with his inhibitors. I was going to keep my original name but decided not to for safety reasons. The Engineering staff that help maintain me on the Dreadhawk called me "The Brute". Most marines call me "Hey You", or "Big Guy", or "Ugly". My favorite was "Jaws"...cause someone watched me chew someones arm off once...I do not recall this but it more then likely happened. I decided to remember most of these in case I got bored with Delta. Most of them are curse words...aimed at insulting me over actually giving a real attempt to name me. One Marine named Shella called me "Cuddles"...a vast contrast to my personaity.

Vernette walks out of the storage room and pulls his gloves off. He was followed by Welles.
Welles: Flash cloning does not work!
Vernette: Because the clones suffer complete cellular breakdown. They are grown too fast. if we slow down the growth process, we might be able to stabilize him.
Welles: For how long?
Vernette: I have 3 AIs working on those calculations now. A 1 hour cloning process can make a clone last two, perhaps three years before they die. Hopefully, this is based on an unknown multiplication factor. I plan to grow the fetus over the next four weeks to six weeks.
Welles: Grow a fetus?
Vernette: That's how you do it...you grow a fetus in a test tube!
Welles: Then what?
Vernette: I plan to pull him out of stasis at genetic age 4, and introduce him to people. He will grow up in a matter of time after that. Hopefully...I can socialize him enough to fit in. It will be a controlled environment to make him fit in with humans. At genetic age 15, I plan to train him in military tactics until he is fully grown to his original genetic age. I have my methods on accelerating his training.

I am so disappointed with them...they are not even worth my time...its no fun because even normal humans can kill them like its no problem! Spartan II's are pretty tough...but still very disappointing. I generally dislike the entire Spartan program!

Delta: Let me tell you a story...when we first occupied Earth, I had a brute Major under my command. He wanted to advance his career. What better way to do it then try and kill the Chieftain...me...he tried to kill me. You know what he did? He ambushed me! That coward ambushed me! He walks up behind me and slams a hammer...yes a gravity hammer...into my groin. The only reason I am still here today is because some human marine put a sniper slug through that Majors Head. That same marine almost killed me as well...but let me go. That Marine told me to get up, walk away, and never come back! I did just that...that is after I made my way to a very deep cave and spent the next hour howling my head off in pain. I decided to...modify my armor.
Delta pounded his groin and caused a metal clanging noise.
Delta: Reinforced...I fixed that weakness!

Delta: Well...only on one thing. We both hated Elites. We hated their guts! We spent a whole night talking about how much we hated them! During Harvest...I wasn't the best of friends with the Elites. A group of Elites actually tried to kill me. Your mother pulled my ass out of the fire...not literally, but you get the idea. In return for saving me, I decided to further a "temporary alliance" with Vernette to help him remove the Elites from Harvest. I cared more about my personal disgust with the Elites then my mission. However, more often then not, we were sticking guns in each others faces calling each other names! It was fun...I had to admit!

And like I said, we were at each others throats a lot. Like I said, we called each other names. But she was the only one who ever threw a punch. I had to suck it up and take it. If the war of words got to the point where she would punch me in the noes, hit me with the butt of her gun, or strike me with the nearest object, I had to back off!

Vernette: When can we begin the process?
Scientist: Now. We will place the cells into a stasis chamber and watch them develop. We will be able to watch the fetus grow. After the four weeks...it will be like a new born. After that, his genes will accelerate his growth. by the next 2 weeks, he will be at age 4. 2 weeks after that, 15, and finally, 3 weeks after that...he will be the same age he was when he died.

After roughly two hours of searching, the Warthog carrying Lance, Max and Delta drove up to the wreckage of the Pelican that was carrying Harold and his squad.
Delta: Look...Max...wait with the car and keep an eye out. Lance...lets check it out.
Delta exited the Warthog and walked up to the wreckage.
Delta: This is the second air vehicle that has been downed like this...the first one was a Phantom...we passed it a little while ago when we were searching for you. What do you make of this Lance?

he rips the IV needle from his wrist, and pops off the suction cups on his chest.
he approaches his medical bay closet containing his uniform, he puts on his armor slowly, and then puts on his helmet, footsteps approach the door.

-he then saw one where he was in the facility in Alasaka, beating down Shella.
-there was a recording of Admiral Korman shooting his automag at Steve's gut.
-then another on with James cutting off his own finger
-and then one where he was in a coma.
-and the timer itself.
but not all the screens involved Harold,
one had a flower.
one was a commercial advertising New Jenkins the town,
one advertised Niagra falls,
one had a cat dangling from a tree branch, and under it it said "hang in there".
One had a recording of When Eugene was a baby, taking his baby steps.
One was of a dog barking in slow motion,
and then lastly was a recording of when Vincetti shot Eugene with his poison tranq dart.

Delta walked over to the Shelter door and saw that it was locked.
Delta: Tyber...open the door!
Tyber: I am trying...the codes have been changed...i need a few minutes to crack the code.
Delta grabbed the large handle on the door and began to pull. The latches on the door began to give away. He eventually pulled the massive door right off its hindges and rolled it aside.
Delta: nevermind...I got it...

Delta looked at the ODSTs holding his hammer.
Delta: You have one chance to put the lady down before I rip you all limb from limb.
The ODST's began to shoot Delta.
Delta: Wrong answer!
Delta charged at the ODST's scattering them to the ground. He stomped on, and killed two of the ODST. He impaled the third with the sharp end of his hammer. The forth got up and ran but Delta threw his hammer at the ODST's back. The hammer hit the ODST, breaking his back in the process. the ODST Moaned on the floor. Delta looked at Max.
Delta: Are you alright Max?
Meanwhile:
Vernette: Lance, you spent your entire youth blowing up UNSC facilities. Those were not any UNSC facilties, those were my UNSC facilities. You worked for your father, a man that hated my guts for what I did to him. He may have been justified in his hatred, but he was still a traitor. He didn't like how I handled traitors. HArold found the key, and ran to the door, he put the key in, and the door rose open, Harold ran through, only to find that he was in a vinyled floor hallway, there was a window, it was a man on a stretcher a doctor opertaing him.
wait.....that's from Chuck's squad!
the doctor looked up, HArold ducked down, the doctor then resumed work on the squadmate.

Harold got up and saw another window, he peeked through, it was a man in a sttaith jacket.

Our feud began on Harvest, first contact. He was a Spartan on my Ship. He turned against me when he found out that I murdered his longest serving friend, who also happened to be a General. He allied with rouge UNSC operatives who plotted against the UNSC, they wanted to sell us out to the newly discovered. I opposed these operatives. I even went so far as to join the brutes in a very temperary alliance to stop these operatives.

HArold walked through the hallways, he saw another squadmate from Chucks squad, he then approached another window, there were 7 body bags,
Well Harold, your brother is sedated, he is in one of these body-bags, find the right one, you get your brother, you have 5 minutes left, if you fail to find Chuck in the 5 minutes, you will die as well, if you may have noticed by the contraption on your chest,
his chest made a click sound
you have 5 minutes.
Harold frantically went to each bodybag

Welles hands Vernette a piece of paper. Vernette looks at it.
Welles: The message said you would recognize it. Do you know what it is?
Vernette: This is a luminary...these are found on Covenant ships...they allowed the Covenant to pinpoint our locations on star charts.
Delta: Luminaries are priceless. We found every human colony using these. There was nowhere a human could run that the Luminary could not find you.
Vernette: I classified these at the highest level...I will personally see to its recovery.
Vernette walks to his vulture and Delta follows him.
Vernette: No, Delta...you stay here...protect Max and Courtney. I will being a few marines along to assist me.
Vernette walks to his Vulture, signaling to several Marines to follow him.
Vernette: I will be back soon. Courtney...when I get back...we have a lot of catching up to do. Welles...keep tabs on the clone for me.
Vernette walks onto his Vulture and leaves the Cloak and Dagger.

Harold approached another one, he took out his knife and ripped it open, once he did, there was only a manequin, wearing his armor in it, Harold moved on to the nex one

Vernette flew towards Great Britain. He landed near the remains of a rather large building. He stepped out and looked around. He then looked at the ruins of the rather extravagant buildings.
Vernette: God save the Queen...
Vernette looked back at the Marines.
Vernette: The listening post is not far from here. Lets move.

Harold aproached the next body bag.
Wait......
he skips 2 body bags and goes to the last one in the row.
he tries to unzip it but it's jammed. Harold takes out his knife but it can't penetrate the skin of the body bag.
Harold then used all of his might to pull the zipper down, inch by inch, it did. but then the handle brok off, Harold then used his elbow and pushed down on the zipper, it went down, Harold looked in the bag, only to reveal nothing was there except some dead rats and bugs.
Harold went to the next one, he opened it with struggle, once he did, Bats scurried out of the bag.

Vernette walked towards the listening post. He turned around and saw the marines had left him. Vernette pulled out his gun.
Vernette: More and more...I think this was a bad idea...
One of the Marines hit Vernette from behind. Vernette fell to the ground, dropping his pistol. The Marines ran over to Vernette with cuffs in his hand but Vernette rolled over and kicked the Marine in the stomach. Vernette jumped to his feet and kneed the marine in the gut and punched him in the face. Vernette ran back to his vulture but was tackled by the other two Marines. They picked Vernette up but Vernette elbowed one in the face and broke free of his grasp. He turned and punched the third in the face. Vernette then kicked the third marine in the face and knocked him down. When Vernette turned, he was met by the seocnd marine with an assault rifle in his hands. He hit vernette across the face with the gun and knocked him out.

ONI Agent: We got him...
Marine 1: We will contact the Admiral immediately.
Marine 2: Hey, he is awake!
The last thing Vernette saw was a foot kicking him in the face.

Harold pulls it down and his brother tumbles out

Harold dug his finger in the bandage, he stuck his knife through the small crevasse and took off the bandage, revealing a small crude machin on his chest,
It will sting a little.
the small machine turned and then cranked.
it then popped of HArold's chest. 6 lines of blood appeared on Harold's chest, each dripping blood. HArold applied pressure to the wound, he looked down at his brother.
He is still alive, mearly sedated.
the door opens.
all will be explained, dear child. you'll see why I have been doing nothing except sitting with my thumb up my ass.
