Well Today is the day GaW goes public.I uploaded the file before I went to bed last night and its still awaiting confirmation. Hopefully the Moddb staff can get those files cleared for launch soon.
Alright...there are a few things everyone should know about GaW.
READ THE READ-ME FILE
There is a simple set of setup instructions inside. Nothing complex...I just wanna be sure that everyone had the information needed to play the game.
PLAY THE CUSTOM MAPS
The game is best played when using the custom maps. Play either Earth, Corporate Sector, or the Void. I am going to try and convert some stock maps to the new style of game play.
THE FLOOD AND UNITY ARE UNFINISHED
These two factions are basically concept factions that I included in the game to show what general direction I was going. They are unfinished and there for posterity reasons. Play as either Rebels, Empire, Zann, Federation, Borg, or the UNSC/Covenant
THERE WILL BE PATCH UPDATES
So be sure to visit frequently.
I hope you guys enjoy GaW. I put a lot of time into it and it was made with the sole intention of deriving fun and satisfaction out of. Sure...there are a few Cannon issues...things are not EXACTLY as Sci-Fi lore might say it is...but I had to compromise at times with a mod like this.
