Trust Pilot: Sir...we have been cleared to dock...hanger bay 7.
Yates: Take us in pilot...nice and easy.
The Pelican began to slow down, as it passed through the security barrier that protected the large hanger bay doors, and initiated docking procedures, eventually, coming to a full landing inside of the Vigorous Inferno's hanger bay. Yates and Black Team stepped out.
Yates: Alright gentlemen...let's go have a chat with Harrison...and see if we can get him to get Jacob under control for us.
Yates and Black Team turned, and they left the hanger bay. The five men walked through the corridors, eventually coming to an elevator. They caught the next elevator, and took it directly to the bridge.
The elevator ride was a brief one, as in only a few minutes, Yates and Black Team had entered the bridge of the Vigorous Inferno. Yates led the pack, with Black Team following behind. Their weapons were not holstered, but rather, in their hands. This was done to show a clear sign of force, and to intimidate.
Yates: Vice Admiral Harrison...a pleasure as always. I always enjoy paying a visit to the ships of the line...especially in times of great despair and difficulty. It allows me to see our brave men and women at their...finest.
Yates raised an eyebrow as he looked at Harrison, a clear sign that he was not be totally sincere in anything he was saying. His tone was more arrogant than anything else. However, despite these tells, he still extended his hand, as an invitation to shake hands with Harrison.
Meanwhile:
Just as Tye was about to contact the Navy, he saw another Marine approach him, and salute.
UNSC Marine: Sir...
Tye looked at the Marine.
Tyber: At ease son. What is it?
UNSC Marine: SIr...some of our sniper teams were doing a bit of long range scotuing on Covenant movement...and they spotted something that did not show up on our IFF trackers.
Tyber: What was it?
UNSC Marine: An aircraft...sir.
Tyber: More specifically?
UNSC Marine: A Black...gunship...
Tye took a deep breath, and then sighed.
Tyber: Those guys...
The Marine nodded.
UNSC Marine: They are on a direct course for our position. Based on their speed...they should be here in less than a minute. Chances are, they plan on landing, because the landing strusts on the gunship are deployed. They appear to be landing.
Tyber: Oh, great.
Tye paused. He then looked at Jacob.
Tyber: Isn't it always great when people you don't want to see just...drop in?
