Harrison sighed. He did not respond for a few moments, staring at the holomap in front of him. He only had a few minutes before the invasion began and he knew many of the ships were involved with ground operations. That's when he noticed the King Raven's roster to the side. Harrison: A spartan....that's what he needs. Harrison knew what is was like losing men under command, he knew that a man such as Reynolds would not be able to bear the loss of Cochraine, even under the tough exterior he had. Harrison had gone through it before, and his remorse for Reynolds started to become apparent. Harrison: Captain...I want you to contact Captain Frost aboard the King Raven, Commander Tyber Vernette and Spartan Cameron-Z091 are not involved with ground operations at the moment. They have a squad of marines on standby. You are to contact Captain Frost, request them for the extraction team and lead them to target. Harrison paused. Harrison: There is a limited realm of acting here Captain...they have forty-five minutes before I level that area. Relay those orders, and hope to God they can help you. Harrison out. Harrison closed the comm, hoping Reynolds would get the extraction team and get Cochraine before his time expired. In the meantime...Harrison turned his attention to Omega Legion and Captain Sharpmen.

[Kairu]

Reynolds: Thank you Admiral! Reynolds had been praying to himself. When Harrison finished his hard exterior returned. Reynolds: "You heard the Admiral! Get me a line to Vernette and Cameron!" The comm officer went to work pressing some buttons. Comm Officer: "I have just sent a message to the King Raven."

[Naked Crook]

Meanwhile: Tye was currently coordinating the ground teams on The King Raven, from his ops center. He was assigning various teams of marines to specific field operations, and deploying them where they were needed most. Tyber: Gamma Teams 2, 3, 4, and 5...you are being deployed the reinforce the 2 mile perimeter around White Water city. Tye paused. Tyber: Gamma 6, 7, 9, and 12...you are being deployed to New Havana to assist in civilian evac. Tye paused paused. Tyber: Bravo 1, 4, Alpha 5, 6, and Charlie 9...you boys will be reinforcing the line in the New Havana outskirts. You are to hold the line there until we can ensure a total evac of New Havana...then you are to bug out. Tye looked up at the marines. Tyber: You have your orders! Dismissed! Tye turned away, as he watched the teams of Marines break to head to their designated Pelicans. Tye was getting ready to go and brief the next group of UNSC soldiers, when he was contacted over the comm. Jennifer: Tye...you have an incoming message from Captain Reynolds...priority one. Tye opened a comm line with Jennifer. Tyber: Odd...I was not expecting anything from him. Patch him through to me. Jennifer: Patching him through. Tye switched comm channels, so he could speak to Captain Reynolds. Tyber: Captain Reynolds? This is Commander Vernette. What do you nee, sir?

[Kairu]

Reynolds looked up and responded. Reynolds: "Commander, Admiral Harrison has instructed me to send you and Spartan Cameron on an assignment. I am uploading the coordinates of a Covenant Assault Base to yourthe HUD, your assignment is to extract my First Officer, Lauren Cochraine. I am also uploading an image of her to your HUD as well. You have a little less than 45 minutes until the Admiral levels the base. As a personal favor, I'm asking you to get her, please."

[Naked Crook]

Tye thought for a moment. He then sighed. Tyber: That is quite the favor Captain. You are asking me to go up against The Covenant, to get inside one of their bases, against God knows how many of them, to find one of your officers...and as an added bonus, that if I don't get it done within 45, my ass gets bombed from orbit? Tye considered the mission. Tyber: I think I can pull it off. I'll gather up several teams of Marines, and see what I can come up with. I may have to pull Cam back on this one...I was about to deploy him...but...I think I may need him if I am going to pull your officer out of the fire. Tye paused. Tyber: Very well Captain. I got the coordinates, and I got the stipulations. I'll see what I can do. No promises...but, if I can't find a way to get it done...nobody else would have.

[Kairu]

Everyone on Reynolds bridge was now staring at their captain, curious about what Reynolds will say next. Reynolds: "Thank you, Commander. I ask because she may have important intel that may be useful." Reynolds paused and took a sigh. He was about to end it there, but he felt like he needed to let them know the truth. Reynolds: "And truth is, I love her. I just want her back." With that the bridge crew seemed taken aback by the quietness of Reynolds. They all heard him, but to openly say it was something unexpected. Reynolds: "I'll leave you Gentlemen to it then. Happy hunting... and good luck."

[Erex]

Sergai was onboard the King Raven suiting up, for anything. He loaded his weapons, and put a medpak on his leg for later use.

[Naked Crook]

Tyber: Thank you Captain. We'll bring her back. Tye closed the comm line. He then sighed. He began to think to himself. Tyber: Whew...way to put the pressure on me guy. If I fail...I get to live with the fact that I couldn't save some guy's private squeeze. Tye shrugged. He then contacted Cameron. Tyber: Cam, this is Tye...do you copy? Cameron responded over the comm. Cameron: This is Cameron. GO ahead Commander. Tyber: Change of plans Spartan. We have a "request" to go an rescue an officer from the hands of The Covenant. Cameron: A request? Doesn't seem like the typical chain of command is involved in this. What is the catch? Tyber: Let's just say...Captain Reynold's lady friend is in danger...and we have been drafted to save her. However...we only have 45 minutes to extract her...before Admiral Harrison decides to level the place with his little army of Longswords. Harrison wants to carpet bomb the entire area...and he won't care if we are there, or not. Cameron: 45 minutes to extract a Navy officer from the hands of The Covenant, with the impending threat of carpet bombing looming over out heads. Why did you accept this mission? Tyber: Well...doing the impossible is what we do Cam. Tye paused. Tyber: In any case...I am on my way to hanger bay 4. Inform the Marines down there of the change of plans. Cameron: Understood. Cameron paused, but then spoke up again. Cameron: We have another Spartan on staff. Should I contact him? Tyber: Ohhh...yes...Sergai. He sounds Russian. Never liked Russians. Cameron: Read-Admiral Vernette says the same thing. Tyber: I'll contact him...order him to hanger bay 4. We will brief him en-route. Vernette out. Tye closed the comm line with Cameron, as he entered an elevator. He pressed one of the buttons, as the elevator began to move down towards hanger bay 4. Tye then contacted Sergai over the comm. Tyber: Commander Vernette to Spartan-038...report to hanger bay 4 for immediate deployment.

[Erex]

Sergai: Understood, I'm on my way. Sergai made his way to hangar bay 4. Sergai: Spartan -038 reporting as ordered.

Cameron looked at Sergai. Cameron: Sit tight...wait for the Commander. He is on his way down here.
