[Halo] New! San Angeles RPG

[Archerboy106]

The shooting began starting again and everyone dove behind cover. He yelled out to Jacob. Zephyr: Jacob, are you alright? Where is everyone else? He wasn't sure who sent the previous broadcast, changing their radar. And he could have sworn he had seen that brute before...

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob: Zephyr!? Jacob looked at the ODSTs that had just dove into cover. He recognized all of them, Hit Squad Kilo from a year back. Jacob: Zephyr! We're near the downed warthogs! Jacob watched Dangerus begin his charge towards HSK. Jacob: Don't fire on the brute! Fire on the Black ODSTs! Do it now Commander!

[Archerboy106]

Zephyr laugh hard. Maybe a little too hard. Zephyr: Good one! He popped out of cover and emptied his clip at the charging brute.

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob cursed under his breath. He popped his head upwards from the warthog he was at and looked at Black team. They were regrouping. Jacob: Goddamnit Zephyr! You've got to trust me! Jacob ran into the battle zone. Jacob: Chieftain, focus on the Black team! They're the ones that tried to kill you! Dangerus growled at Jacob, and continued strongly at HSK. He roared when Bovela fired his magazine at him and charged. Dangerus jumped into the air and slammed his hammer down onto the ground, scattering the entire team. Jacob cursed again as he saw this happen, and that's when he came under fire from Black team. He ran back to cover and looked at Colby and Troy. Jacob: Colby...get going, now!

[Archerboy106]

Zephyr flew back and hopped to his feet instantly. He loved fighting brutes. He reloaded and was about to charge Dangerus when he saw the black ODST's firing on Jacob. Then it hit him. Harrison's words, the odd transmission, the brute surrounded by the damaged warthogs, Jacob's warning... Zephyr: Everybody listen to Captain Sharpmen. Direct fire upon the black ODST's!

[Naked Crook]

Black 1 watched as the chaos ensued. He grinned behind his helmet, then contacted the rest of Black Team on a private channel. Black 1: Alright guys...listen very carefully...Commander Vernette has corrupted the entire data-center with a virus. When the Covenant begins their data-mining of this facility, the7y will find nothing. This will jeopardize the entire mission. We must restore critical information to this facilities servers in order to continue on schedule. Black 1 paused. Black 1: Fall back to the server room. From there...Black 2 will be able to...leave the breadcrumbs for The Covenant to follow. As Black 1 said this, he came under fire again. He looked up and saw that the UNSC forces that had just arrived had turned on him. Black 1 then ducked down behind cover again. Black 1: It seems the UNSC has turned hostile...again. No matter...we know our job...and we will see it through. Black 1 closed the comm line. He looked at Black 2, who was next to him. He then saw Black 3 and Black 4 falling back to take cover with him. The four were, once again, reunited and cohesive. Black 1: Black 4...prep the demo charge on your back. Arm it, and get ready to deploy it. Black 4: Yes sir. Black 3: Sir...we have a counter-sniper out there. Shall I engage? Black 1: Yes. Black 1 paused. Black 1: Black 2...stay close to Black 3. Black 1 paused, and then nodded. Black 1: Move out on my mark... Black 1 reloaded his own Assault Rifle. Black 1: Mark... At that moment, all of Black Team emerged from cover. Black 1 laid down suppressive fire, while Black 3 took aim at Katana. He lined up his sights, as he walked backwards. As Black Team was in the process of falling back towards the server room, Cameron had made his way to Troy's Warthog, and he mounted the gun turret. He began to spin up the gun, as he turned it around to face Black Team. Tye, on the other hand, was in the passenger seat of Troy's Warthog. Jennifer was with Colby and the injured. All three of them were prepped and ready to go.

[Hells Sniper]

Dangerus noticed the ODSTs change of firing and grinned. He turned around just as he came under fire from Black team. Immediately he cloaked and broke off from the ODSTs he was with. Jacob knew that everyone was ready to roll and he hit the hoods of both warthogs. Jacob: See you boys back at the airfield! With that Troy and Colby both slammed their foot down on the pedal and headed out of the evac center. Jacob, firing his sniper rifle, ran over to Commander Bovela. Jacob: Good to see you and the Hit Squad, Commander.

[Archerboy106]

Katana dove as a shot rang out, scraping the side of her helmet. Zephyr ran to the side and shook Jacob's hand. He watched as the Black team exited and his team laid suppressive fire. Same to you. He paused, motioning his gun towards the ODST's. Who the hell were they? And, uhh, are we going after them? He gripped his gun a little tighter as he saw Dangerus cloak away.

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob shook his head. Jacob: That brute has been fighting them for last hour...who they are is beyond me. Why they're here and why they want Tye dead is also beyond me. We're leaving the HQ...now before the Covenant come back again. Jacob stood upwards, the area was all clear. Jacob: Get your team on the hog, I'll follow...I just have to blow the tunnel, stop the Covenant from getting through.

[Archerboy106]

Zephyr took his helmet off and scratched his head. He signaled with his hands and all of HSK as well as Roger and Robert got back into the warthogs. He looked back at Jacob. You know, we brought an extra hog so you can fit. You don't need to walk it. Everyone else geared up and got in the warthogs. Leapfrog and Brooklyn were quietly talking amongst themselves. Brooklyn: What the fuck did we just see? Leapfrog: No clue, dude.
