Dangerus: He is correct, in a way. The skulls are of Fallen and failed Chieftains. Any who challenged the Chieftain of the Brutes and were killed, those are mainly located on the left side.

Dangerus looked at one skull, stopping in front of it.

Dangerus: They would have it all, and then destroy with their naivety and disrespect to their Chieftains.

Dangerus shook his head and continued onward.

Dangerus: The ones on the right are Fallen Chieftain of the Brutes, honored forever in the Great Hall.

Jennifer: You mean...they are actually decapitated...and the detached head is skinned, and the skull removed and hung on a wall? Ruthless...

Tyber: That is one way of doing it...

Tye walked up to the skulls on the left.

Tyber: You could use these guys as helmets...

Dangerus laughed.

Dangerus: According to our history, many did. Before we had a set..."government" so to speak, the highest of all brutes would wear skulls of the defeated.

Dangerus continued to walk.

Dangerus: Of course, that was our tribal ancestors. In recent years, we have kept them honored, one way...or another.

Dangerus grunted.

Dangerus: If I had a choice...I would like to end up on the right side, the great Chieftains.

Dangerus looked at Cameron.

Dangerus: Although, no brute will be putting me in my place anytime soon.

Jennifer: So I guess that means the left side grows faster than the right side...

Cameron: The most we ever get is a golden plaque on a statue somewhere. Someone like me gets his service record buried in digital files on some computer on some ship somewhere in the Galaxy...

Dangerus: And that is why many of your kind were forgotten.

Dangerus shrugged.

Dangerus: No offense to you.

Cameron: None taken. I tend to agree. I have killed some of my own as well. Let's just say...their loyalty was misplaced...and disloyal people deserve to be forgotten...
