Quadratus' calvary charged Carbo's.

Carbo: Archers! To arms!

The archers unsheathed their swords and charged.

The two cohorts clashed. A few were killed in the first passing. Others continued to fight.

Quadratus rode at Carbo.

Ambrosius hopped on an unattended horse and signalled to two of his men to find a horse (both killing a Rebel in the process) and follow him as they blitzed the catapults

Carbo blocked Quadratus' attack with his sword. He swung with his other, but Quadratus blocked.

Quadratus: You're getting soft on me old man.

Carbo: And you're getting cocky.

Carbo swung his blade, but Quadratus ducked as the blade cut off "hair" from the top of his helmet.

Quadratus hopped and brought Carbo to the ground.

Carbo kicked him in the gut. Quadratus fell back, dropping his shield.

He picked up a second sword from a fallen Roman.

Carbo swung three times, each blocked by Quadratus.

Carbo: I see you've learned a few moves

Ambrosius spit the ground near Aulus' feet. Filthy Roman. You will bow before the might of the Roman Empire!
