ONI Military Ranks There are many different postitions in the ONI armed forces. As such, some positions require special training to achieve while some ranks can only be achieved by certain standing members and positions. The following chart denotes appearence, rank structure, and limitations of the field. It should be important to note that unlike all other races that denote rank based on appearence, ONI ranks are deoted by a military grading symbol. As such, the Military Classifications chart shows all the different divisions of the ONI Military and what chains of command they are limited to. All of the subsequent following charts denote rank symbol and echelon. It should also be noted, that the lowest ranking Officer rank OUTRANKS the highest ranking Enlisted rank, and subsequently the highest ranking Warrent rank. It should also be noted, that the Navy is the highest ranking body in ONI. In a command dispute scenario between a Naval Officer and Marine Corps/Army Officer of equal echelon, Navy orders take priority. Fleet Admiral > Master General BUT Master General > Admiral The echelons of ODST-1 and ODST-2 outrank any soldier, of any rank, that is an ODST The echelon of AGENT-1 is not answerable to any chain of command, short of the Director of Section 0 and the Agent's commanding officer. the echelons of ONI-1, ONI-2, ONI-3, and ONI-4 are the top ranking officials in ONI, with each numeric increase in the suffix granting higher command rank.
