Black 5 placed his sniper on the rack and turned to Black 1. He removed his helmet it and placed it upon the barrel of the sniper. He was thinking. Black 5: You have already engaged the Task Force in a naval confrontation...attacked on of the most secure ONI facilities in the galaxy... Black 5 paused. Black 5: There is a facility that houses much of Section 0's R&D...getting there and finding it is going to be extremely difficult. Black 5 paused again. Black 5: However...I know of a device that was designed to find secret human facilities back during the war. Used by the Covenant called a Luminary. Black 5 grinned. Black 5: Luck for you all...I know of a place where we can find one.. He looked up to Black team. Black 5: Have you ever heard of a planet called Genesis?

[Naked Crook]

Black 1: Yes...we have heard of Genesis. We all know of the planet very well. Are you telling me that ONI has a Luminary on Genesis? Black 1 paused. Black 1: I never knew that ONI had a Luminary at Genesis. This is a news to me.

[Hells Sniper]

Black 5 nodded. Black 5: The planet was hidden back in 2538, presumed glassed by the Covenant but never happened. A process I, as well as Nighthawk and Anaconda, had a large hand in. Black 5 shrugged. Black 5: You get the luminary...you get every thing Tempus Fugit has to offer.

Black 1 paused. He looked at Jacob. Black 1: Tempus Fugit? What is that?

[Hells Sniper]

Black 5: Tempus Fugit is a Section 0 R&D shipyard orbiting a planet. It houses everything that the eggheads have to offer...ship designs, weapon research, technology research, anything and everything ONI has been working on for Section 0 eyes only is there. Black 5 shrugged. Black 5: The luminary will get you all of that.

[Naked Crook]

Black 1: Hmmm... Black 1 fell silent. He began to think. While he did, the other members of Black Team chimed in. Black 3: Why would we need the Luminary to get to this Tempus Fugit place? Black 4: Beats me... Black 3 and 4 looked at Black 2. Black 2: Luminaries were used by The Covenant to find human controlled worlds or...locations controlled by humans. Chances are, if this Tempus Fugit place is as important as it sounds, then someone like Black 5 wouldn't know where it is. It is standard ONI procedure to hide these locations from non-essential personnel. With a Luminary, we could usr it to show us exactly where Tempus Fugit is, by having it show us the locations of large human populations, and cross referencing that with what we know of ONI positioning. Black 3 nodded. Black 3: Huh...go figure. Black 1 listened to the conversation. Part of him was intrigued, but the other part of him was concerned about such a course of action. Black 1: Attacking Genesis is easy. Stealing a Luminary is easy. However...this Tempus Fugit place...we have no idea what is waiting there for us. We would be walking in blind...and I don't like walking in blind.

It was only a few minutes until Sanchez took a big sip from his glass. Moments later, he began gagging and coughing. One of his goons helped him into the bathroom and two more posted themselves at the door. Taking a few bites of his own meal, he waited a bit until walking towards the bathroom. Goon: Sorry, sir. We need to check you first. Stolt nodded and lifted his arms. The other goon quickly patted him down and waved his hand towards the door. Stolt entered and walked into one of the stalls. The target was leaned over the sink, and his guard was standing watch while leaning against the stall. This would be too easy. While in the stall, Stolt drew his M6D, attached the suppressor, and readied the syringe. Slowly, he opened the door and looked around. In an instant, he grabbed the guard from behind, put the man in a chokehold, and shot Sanchez in the back of the head. Blood, skull fragments, and brains splattered against the mirror while the corpse crumpled onto the floor. By now, the needle had been injected into the guard's neck and the contents entered the blood stream. While still holding the guard up, Stolt moved off to the side of the bathroom and called out. Stolt: A little help in here! Instantly, the two guards posted outside rushed in, weapons drawn. With coolness, Stolt shot each one in the head with his M6D, coloring the walls a dark red. The job was complete, and he needed to leave. Stolt unscrewed the suppressor from his handgun and placed the weapon in the guard's hand before dropping the man onto the floor. Then, he walked over to Sanchez's body for some documents, anything that might link him to other contacts. All he took though was the target's watch, wallet, and PDA. A quick search of the bathroom turned out an "out of order" sign. As Stolt walked out, he placed the sign on the door and returned to finish his meal.

Black 5 nodded. Black 5: I've stayed there once before...I didn't leave the ship often in the month I was there, but...you tell me what you are looking for. I can get us there. Black 5 shrugged. Black 5: Resistance is going to vary depending on what ships are there, whats being worked on, etc. But security will be tight no matter what. Squadrons of marines, ODSTs, possibly a few Agents. And, well...maybe even Spartan-IV's now.

Devron boards a Pelican inbound for the Draco. When he decided to send a message to Captain Hayes. Devron: Captain Alexander Devron, I'm inbound for the Draco, FLEETCOM has changed my post as captain of the Draco sir. Anything I need to know about this vessel before I arrive to make preparations sir?

Black 1 considered what Jacob was saying. He weighed the options in his head, evaluating the pros and cons of what was being said to him. Black 1: As much as I believe that Tempus Fugit, as you call it, would be a very good target...the fact is, is that we lack intel on this facility. I am not accustom to making moves without proper intel. I have done so in the past, do not get me wrong, but it was only done when every other option was expended. Attacking Tempus Fugit with little to no intel is a death wish, to put it bluntly. We will need to find out as much as we can before an attack on this location can be carried out. Black 1 paused. Black 1: I will focus some of our assets into seeking out information on this facility. Black 1 paused again. Black 1: With that said...we still need a viable curse of action in the here and now...and I have been giving some thought to one idea in particular... Meanwhile: Hayes was on the bridge of The King Raven. He was looking over reports from the rest of the task force, ensuring that all personnel and departments were prepped at a moments notice. ONI Officer: Sir...we have an incoming transmission from Fleet Admiral Harrison routed through the ONI Info Net. Hayes: Is that so? ONI Officer: Yes sir. It seems to be re-assignment orders for some of his soldiers. The message header suggests that the message was sent to The Cloak and Dagger, and The Dreadhawk, as well. Hayes: If that is the case, let DIrector Vernette handle that. He is in charge of the task force, so he will deal with the duty assignments. ONI Officer: Shall I get confirmation on that from The Director? Hayes: Yes. Contact The Cloak and Dagger and verify if Director Vernette will, in fact, be handling the assignment of the soldiers that Harrison is sending our way. Hayes went back to reading his reports. A few moments later, the ONI Officer spoke up again. ONI Officer: Incoming message from a Captain Alexander Devron. Hayes: I have no idea who that is. WHat does he want? ONI Officer: Well...he wants an update on our current status. Hayes: Inform the Captain that Director Vernette is now in charge of The Task Force, and that all requests for task force updates must go through him. Additionally, inform the Captain that for security reasons, updates concerning the task force are not being sent over communication lines, and those requests must be made in person. ONI Officer: Sir...if I may be so bold...that is not standard policy... Hayes grinned. He began to laugh. Hayes: No it isn't... ONI Officer: Then...if I may sir...why are we telling this to Captain Devron? Hayes: I want this told to Devron because Director Vernette is a scary man. It is my hope that one conversation between the two will ensure that Devron will be afraid to get a runny noes near The Director for fear of being called a screw up. I just want to make sure that Devron knows who he will be dealing with...that is all. ONI Officer: Aye sir...thank you for the clarification sir. The ONI Officer sent the instructions to Devron, informing him that he must make task force update inquiries in person to Director Vernette. ONI Officer: Message away...
