Meabwhile:
Burke looked around the Observation deck of the Vigorous Inferno. He waited a moment, and then spoke up.
Burke: Well...gentelemen...if I may be so bold as to ask...what's the plan? I hate to be grim, but our current situation is not a good one. Now...I am not expert in tactical scenario planning...but I seriously doubt we have the necessary man-power and effective military strength to strike back at The Covenant. We just suffered heavym and disproportionate losses in the last engagement. All of our ships are damaged in some way, and, the fact of the matter is...The Covenant is covering San Angeles in their ground forces, slowly overpowering our people on the surface.
Burke paused.
Burke: Again...I hate to be grim...but we are in a pretty rough patch right now.
Meanwhile:
Xyrho was on the bridge of his damaged Corvette. His Corvette had retreated from Whitewater, and moved roughly 30 miles away from the battle zone. Xyrho was currently looking over the level of damage that his ship had suffered, and he knew that his ship was of little to no value at this point.
Xyrho knew his mission. He knew why he was here, and he was not prepared to let a setback like this stop him from completing his mission. He knew how important his task was, not only to The Covenant, but to himself. It was his first chance, in many years, to actually touch, and be physically near what he considered to be Holy. He was bothered by the fact that he had allowed Humans to delay him, to push him further away from his objective, but he was not ready to accept defeat. Her was not ready to allow these Humans to keep him away forever. Xyrho sat in his command chair, contemplating his next move, until he finally got to his feet, in a fit of anger. He roared.
The other Elites on the bridge looked at Xyrho. They remained silent. They knew Xyrho was about to give orders, just based on the way he was standing.
Xyrho: I want all of our available Elites ready to deploy to the surface of this world immediately! I want every Spec-Op ready. I want every Major, Field Marshal, and General with their soldiers ready for deployment immediatly! I want them in the hanger bay, ready to deploy!
Elite Minor: It will be done Shipmaster!
Xyrho: I will be personally leading these Elites into battle. THis vessel is of no further tactical value, so once I have departed, this ship is to return to our Fleet, and begin immediate repairs!
Elite Minor: Yes, Shipmaster.
With that, Xyrho turned, and walked off the bridge of his Corvette, heading to the Hanger Bay, ready to deploy everything he had against UNSC Regional HQ Bravo in an attempt to not only take it away from The Humans, but to kill every single Human that dares to impede his mission.
