Burke looked at Jennifer, and nodded, before hew turned, and followed Harrison to the bridge of the Ulterior Motive.
Jennifer, on the other hand, approached Captain Reynolds, and interjected on Reynold's conversation with his crew.
Jennifer: Excuse me, Captain Reynolds, but I must insist that we try and get a move on. The sooner that we are all present on the bridge, the sooner we can begin planning our next move.
Jennifer glared at Reynolds, as he waited for him to comply with her request.
Meanwhile:
Nighthawk and Anaconda had since left the Prowler Bay, and they had made their way up to the bridge. As they stepped onto the bridge, they were greeted by Tye.
Tyber: Well, well...look who decided to show up.
Nighthawk shrugged.
Nighthawk: I needed a breather after that last engagement.
Tyber: So it seems...
Nighthawk approached the opposite side of the holotable that Tye was standing on, as he leaned on the holotable.
Nighthawk: So, ONI is now swarming this ship.
Tyber: More or less. I contacted Captain Frost and the other brass, and they are sending over additional forces to sweep the ship clear.
Nighthawk: That's a good idea.
Tyber: We thought so.
Tye paused, as he glared at Nighthawk. Nighthawk simply looked back.
Nighthawk: Does any of thgis bring back memories?
Tyber: Yeah, it does. Unpleasant ones. Stuff I thought had been buried. I have been standing here, buried in thought, just shifting through all the crap that is bubbling through to the surface. The very minor details are all coming back to me, every second I stand here.
Tye paused.
Tyber: It sucks.
Tye paused, as he removed his helmet, and dropped it on the holotable.
Tyber: But then...this is not the same ship now, is it? I think my brother blew up the first one a few years after my shitty series of events.
Nighthawk: That is how I understood it.
Tyber: Different ship...but it still feels the same. I have no idea how that is possible. Fuck it...I have better things to do than stand here and dig up skeletons.
Nighthawk: You have never really moved passed it, have you?
Tyber: No. I have never really moved passed it. Honestly...it all haunts me to this day. I still get the nightmares from time to time. Other times...if I drop my guard...I can becxome just as ruthless and aggressive as any member of Black Team.
Tye paused.
Tyber: It is not a good feeling.
Nighthawk: Well, I am sure you are going to get your chance to punch The Trust in the teeth. Just hang in there for now.
