[Naked Crook]

Hayes: He was on a mission when he was killed...and the mission was successful. Like I said...it was a boarding action mission He, and a team of Agents, were sent to download and recover tactical information from a heavily damaged Trust ship. He was able to recover a large portion of the data he was sent to find. However...upon evac...he and his team were ambushed. Jacob stayed behind to cover his team's escape. His team escaped alive...with the data. However...the reactor on the ship peaked at critical...and the ship exploded. We have had no contact with Agent Sharpmen since. We have tried looking for anything to recover...tags...armor...but the entire ship was obliterated. An explosion like we saw...Jacob wuld have been vaporized instantaneously... Hayes paused. Hayes: I ave known Jacob for some time...he was a damn fine soldier. There will never be another one like him. We have defiantly lost one of our best today...

[Kairu]

James' head continue to remain hanging. He simply sighed. James: "Captain, do you think something like this is intentional? I'm not one to be religious, but if there is a God, does he hate us for everything that we've done?" Aelis: "James!" Aelis said hissing at him. "I don't think that's appropriate for the situation."

[Naked Crook]

Hayes: I don't know what you believe James...but I do know what I believe... Hayes paused. Hayes: The Lord has been a great comfort me me all these years...and he has given me the strength to persevere when I couldn't do it alone. Like the good Book says...he moves in mysterious ways, his plan is a mystery. But...I will tell you what isn't a mystery; he gave us free will...and we choose our own fate...for good or ill. Hayes paused. Hayes: I have known Jacob for quite a long time...some of that time I knew him from dossiers and reports...and some of that time I knew him in person. Jacob chose his own fate...his own destiny. He chose to live a life dedicated to protecting ideals that he beleved in...and people he never even knew...from enemies who would destroy everything we are and what we stand for. Hayes shook his head. Hayes: God doesn't hate us...and he didn't hate Jacob. Jacob died...because other people hated him...The Trust hated him...and they hated us...and they will continue to hate us. Hayes sighed. Hayes: And while we have never been perfect...I would like to think that we have also done some good. Jacob died believing in the good that we have done...and the good that we continue to do...no matter what. The Trust has committed heinous crimes in the name of selfish ambition. In this conflict...The Lord is not neutral...and he is not on the side of The Trust.

[Kairu]

James: "Respectfully, Sir, I beg to differ. But I thank you for your input. I also thank you for letting me know. When do you plan informing the crew?" Rewill turned the corner to see James' door open. He walked up and saw Captain Hayes first. He then spotted Aelis and then James. He could tell the atmosphere was grim so he made his stay brief. Rewill: "Evening Captain, Corporal." Rewill nodded to both of them. "Boss I figured you were hungry, the Private and I thought both of you could use some food. Here you are." Rewill placed the plate on James' desk. James: "Thank you, Rewill." James said half mumbling. Rewill: "Captain, I know it's none of my business, but is everything ok?"

[Naked Crook]

Hayes looked at Rewill. Hayes: Agent Sharpmen was KIA...I was just here informing James of this development...

[Kairu]

Rewill: "That's unfortunate. He was a good man and good competition. Well, I trust he died with honor. I would judge it out of character if he didn't. If you'll excuse me, Captain, Boss, I'll go and be productive." Rewill nodded again. James: "Thank you again, Captain. Is there any Trust activity which may indicate a next plan of attack?"

[Naked Crook]

Hayes: Well...HAWK is currently working on decrypting all of the information we recovered, as we speak. We will know very oon what the immediate plans of The Trust were. We will be able to take the appropriate action when that time comes. Hayes paused. Hayes: I will...leave you two...alone. If you wish to come and see me later...my door is open. Hayes nodded. Hayes: As you were.

[Kairu]

James and Aelis: "Thank you, Sir." James went and sat down next to Aelis on the bed. He was looking down trying to process everything. Aelis finally embraced him to comfort him. He just remained motionless, staring into the space of the room.

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob's head was hanging...he was breathing slowly and deeply, trying to stay awake...his head was pounding, his entire body aching. Jacob moaned a bit as he brought up his head and looked around again. He did this every few minutes to keep himself awake. He looked around his cell again, just trying to keep his mind up. After a few moments the door opened revealing a Trust officer. Jacob looked at the officer. Jacob: Back so soon? Lisa: Just making sure you're not dead. Jacob: Like you said....I was beat by a Spartan, I've been through much worse. Lisa just glared at Jacob. Lisa: Ya know...this can all stop...all you have to do is work for us. Jacob spit some blood on the ground near Lisa. Jacob: No...not a chance... Lisa sighed and left the cell, leaving Jacob in the darkness once again.

Stolt lay in bed, looking at the ceiling. Various forms morphed into different ones the longer he stared. He blinked a few times and everything went back to normal. How long had he been out? I sat up on his bed and rubbed his eyes. The clock showed that only a few days had passed since his most recent memory. After stretching out a bit, he got dressed into his BDUs and walked around on deck, gathering intel for himself.
