I see you guys are on the topic of books vs. movies. Well generally books ARE better than their cinematic counterparts. A good example is the book "The Count of Monte Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas. The book was a huge success, but when the movie for it came out, interesting in the story plummeted. I have not yet to see the movie, but I trust those who have told me that the movie was bad.
