Plasma Grenade Revelation: I feel like an idiot

Basically what I thought of was how plasma grenades work. Why they stick on some surfaces and why they dont on other. I feel like an idiot though, its basic medical science really. Let me start off with the 3 classifications of burns: 1st Degree Burns 2nd Degree Burns 3rd Degree Burns ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1st Degree: The most minor of them all. 1st degree burns include pink skin. Usually only the skin is damaged. Nothing too exciting. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2nd Degree: This time things get a bit more serious. 2nd degree burns results with damage to the skin, superficial dermis and possibly the deep dermis (intermediate layer of skin between the epidermis and your flesh for lack of a simpler term). Blisters will also form on the affected area. Treatment of 2nd degree burns require at least 3 week and attention from a surgeon. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3rd Degree: The worst of them all, 3rd degree burns causes some serious damage, sometimes to the point beyond repair. 3rd degree burns essentially destroy the skin of the affected are completely and also cooks the flesh in the affected area. This is usually the least painful of the three types of burns due to the damage or destruction of nerve cells, the cells responsible for your physically feeling, including tell you when and where you're hurt. However, 3rd degree burns are accompanied by 1st and 2nd degree burns around the 3rd degree burn, which do hurt. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4th Degree?: There is technically a 4th degree of burns, but in my opinion, that gets to the point where the guy is outright going to die. I'm not going to explain this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How This Relates to Plasma Grenades: When treating a 3rd degree burn off hand, you should never remove any clothes attach to the affected area. This will cause the skin the to rip off as well because the skin and clothes have basically melted together. This is the concept in mind when we're talking about plasma grenades. Plasma is really just "instant fire". Think of lighting (something that is in the state of plasma). When throwing a plasma grenade, you'd probably would want to throw it right away (it would take time for it to heat to plasma is my guess). When the plasma grenade is fully charged (and hopefully in the air) the grenade, being a plasma based weapon, is extremely hot. If the grenade hits it's intended target, the grenade will almost instantly cause 3rd degree burns and melt into the targets body. If the grenade hits scenery such as the wall or the floor, it will not stick because the plasma wont have its 3rd degree burning effect as it does will living flesh. And that is why plasma grenades stick to whatever they stick to and no stick to whatever they don't stick to. For some reason I feel like people already know this... but whatever. I hope whatever I had to say was interesting.

After the initial explosion, the kill radius area becomes charged with negative and positive particles which will form electrical currents visible for a short period after the explosion.
