Needler SMG - Brute Variant Needler SMG - Elite Variant Clip Size: 100 battery Units (200 Shots) Projectile Force: Medium Bullets: Rapid Crystalline Projectiles Effective Range: 300 ft Rate of Fire: 200-360 Rounds per Minute Type-33 Directed Munitions Launcher - Needler SMG The Needler SMG is a medium powered SMG type weapon. It serves as an excellent sidearm and counter-infantry weapon. The Needler SMG is a special version of the standard Needler. It has an effective range of about 300 feet making it a medium range weapon. This weapon is standard issue for all infantry forces in the Brute and Elite Military. As with the Carbine and Needle Rifle, the Needler SMG uses a projectile and clip interface instead of plasma based projectiles. The needles on this Needler SMG move at roughly 20 times the speed of the standard guided needles. However, the catch is, the Needler SMG does not have guided projectiles, rather, directed projectiles. This Needler acts more like the Human SMG in terms of functionality. Simply put, same ammo, different style of projectile. Brute Variant The Brute variant has a red coating and is capable of much faster rates of fire. There is much more recoil from the Brute variant due to how fast the weapon fires and it can get quite hot to the touch. If the weapon gets too hot, the weapon can jam and become useless. Elite Variant The Elite variant has a blue coating and is capable of much more stable rates of fire. There is much less recoil from the Elite variant due to the slower speeds at which the weapon fires. The user does not need to worry about the weapon heating up and jamming as a result.
