The Notebook - Movie Review

The Notebook Movie Review By: galaxyfire1 The New Order - Registered User My favorite movie of all time its the notebook, it has good actors and the story is well put out through out the movie. Tot only that but is the most romantic movie you will see, you will fall in love with this movie. Guys will tear up and love it as well, that's how good this movie is. so lets begin with the review. The notebook has a well defined start, middle, and end which few movies tend to have, Rachael McAdams stars as Allie Hamilton a girl that comes from a rich family. While Allie was visiting her family she meets Noah Calhoun, a guy who is poor but very hard working. Although they have completely different families they find out that they have more in common then what they thought they did, as they spend time together during the summer they fall in love. But unfortunately their had to be a twist to the romantic beginning, Allie's mom opposes to her relationship with Noah and to keep Allie away from him she sends her off to school. Noah knew that his love of his life was Allie since the first time he saw her. Even though Allie was away from him he never gave up, He sent her a letter everyday, wishing a reply from her someday, but he got tired of waiting for the reply that he never got. Looking for an answer as to why Allie never wrote back he goes and looks for her. As he is desperately looking for her he soon finds out that she is engaged to a rich guy who's name is Lon Hammond, and of which her mom Anne approves of. Noah was heartbroken he thought that he was still the love of Allie's life. in the beginning he had promised Allie a house. so he bought the house remolded it and built it how Allie dreamed of. Noah loved Allie so much that he didn't break his promise and figured that if she would be happy with Lon then he would step away and let her be. Allie comes back to sea brook and when she sees Noah for the second time she wonders if she really wants to get married with Lon. She has to chose between Noah and Lon and you don't have to be a brain surgeon to guess how the movie ends. The film makers got in right on the nail in picking the actors that were in the movie. You can feel the emotions they are having and it shows you that when you love somebody there is no limit. Even though we have seen actors like this in different movies, with this one you get a unique feel, you feel like if the actors are not really acting and that's how a good movie should be. Again this movies is not only for woman its for anybody who is in love and would do anything for that person. This film shows that love is strong and that there are no obstacles that can break that. grade: A-
