Devron was thinking to himself. Devron(THinking): Great, first day on the job and I've already made myself look like an idiot. What the heck is wrong with me...... This will not happen again, it will not. I'm no Tylan, I'm a soldier.... God Damnit, listen to them, this cannot be happening, is it that I'm nervous? No.... thats not it... Could it be that I'm intimidated? No.... Thats definitely not it. The Brutes.... Not really. Devron started to listen intentively making sure he didn't miss a beat. If a pen dropped he wanted to hear it.

Hayes sighed. Hayes: He doesn't understand how his mind wandered? Oh boy...I can't wait to see this guy in command of a ship. Christ...I think we made a mistake. I am really dreading this... Vernette: Xyrho is dangerous. It would be a risk contacting this guy face to face...but I believe if we make the right moves...we can get this guy on our side. With that said...Captain Cochraine is right...our top brass is going to have to make an appearance for this to work. Barrabus: I agree. If we are going to get Xyrho on our side...we will need to make sure he understands that we are serious. The only way to do that is if we show him that our leaders take this problem seriously enough to seek him out personally. Besides...it would also help our cause by establishing a degree of honor in the eyes of The Elites. Barrabus paused. Barrabus: That means... Barrabus pointed at Vernette. Barrabus: You and I...personally... Vernette: For the best...in the end of the day. I doubt to bureaucrats at FLEETCOM or HIGHCOM want to deal with scary Elites.

Cochraine: "In the mean time, what should we do? Prepare for the worst?"

Vernette: Well...for starters, I have no intention of splitting up. I plan on keeping this task force together unless absolutely necessary. Right now, I am tasked with finding a way to get a hold of this Xyrho guy without too much risk to the rest of the task force...and without too much antagonism on our side. Vernette paused. Vernette: The rest of the Task Force is going to maintain a high alert. ONI has all of its deep space sensors running on overtime. We have deployed an increase military pressence to each planet currently under our control, and we have prowlers monitoring glassed worlds. The moment that The Trust makes a move in our territory, we can have our ships converge on their location. Vernette drummed his fingers on the desk. He paused for a moment to think. It was at that moment medical teams walked into the Observation deck to examine the beaten Trust prisoners that Dangerus had dropped off. Vernette: I also plan on...talking...to those horribly beaten prisoners over there once they are well enough to open their blackened eyes. I am sure after their 5 star accomodations with The Brutes, they are more than willing to talk to me. I will get some specifics out of them...and then I will have our next move. Vernette sighed. Vernette: No matter what happens...whether the Trust decides to make another ore, or if we have to find them...we are going to get these bastards.

Devron: May I inquire how the Trust fights us. Do they take defensive stances, or guerrilla warefare? Every trust commander probably has his own fighting style, but knowing how they attack will help me formulate how I'll fight. This will be very beneficial to me.

Hayes: The Trust uses hit and run tactics. The Trust will attack in small spurts, and run in order to mitigate their own losses. They rely on the element of surprise and attacking from behind and when people are not ready for them. They have no real pattern to their attacks, so they can be almost impossible to predict. Keep that in mind when formulating strategy. Additionally, they will also rely on baiting strategies when they cannot run or when they need to stand and fight. They will give obvious avenues of attack in order to trick idiots into falling into traps. Commander Tylan was very susceptible to baiting tactics...and he ALWAYS fell into their traps.

Devron: Very interesting, they using baiting tactics, I used those on Covenant when the war was going on. So as them being unpredictable in their tactics makes it harder. Do we also know their standard armament, armor, is all stock or modifications?

[Naked Crook]

Hayes: All of their ships are heavily modified...ablative armor... Hayes thought for a moment. He looked at Burke, and then at Vernette. The three men were all thinking the same thing. Hayes: Gentlemen...are we thinking the same thing? Burke: We are thinking about the Bismarck...aren't we? Vernette: And the reality that The Bismarck may have been equipped with same Ablative armor...much like the rest of their ships have been. Hayes: Oh shit... Barrabus: What? What is this...ablative armor? Vernette: Well...essentially, The Trust has developed a type of armor that is intended to take massive amounts of damage. The whole point is to increase the durbility of their ships, and mitigate the damage that is done. Think of it like shields...but instead of an energy field mitigating damage, it is a dense layer of titanium. Hayes: There are draw backs however. Their ships are...bulkier. We have noticed that, in relation to ONI ships, their maneuverability is reduced. ONI has the speed advantage...but The Trust can take serious punishment before we could even begin to scratch their ships in any meaningful way. Barrabus: Well...we will soon find out how well their..."ablative armor" stands up to our weaponry...

Devron: Ok, so their ships being much heavier than ours, now I know how to deal with them, but where are they coming up with all this money to pay for all ablative armor, cause it ain't cheap. The Bismark at 5.7 km long is already gonna be a slow ship add more armor to it its now even more slow but exceptionally more dangerous. I say we find a point on the ship that may not be as armored in that location and fire a MAC round there, do we know of any place of a a said ship to cause exception more damage? Say near hangar bays, if we fire a MAC round inside the hangar bays, so long as it doesn't go through the entire ship we could have a serious internal damage to these vessels.

Vernette: Captain Devron...I appreciate input from all of my officers...and only when that input is based on fact and complete information. Now, you are free to develop strategies on the Trust ships that we have encountered. We have data and recorded information that allows us to quantify and the speed and maneuverability of the Trust ships that we have seen. Vernette paused. Vernette: We can safely say that The Bismarck, being part of The Trust navy, as well as being the most likely candidate to house and protect Trust leadership, has been outfitted with ablative armor. I seriously doubt that The Trust would NOT do this. They have had 2 years to retrofit this ship with their technology. Vernette paused again. He glared at Devron. Vernette: Captain...what makes you think The Bismarck is slow?
