Nighthawk stopped and looked back at the Agents. Nighthawk: Let's go...common! This bridge ain't gonna last much longer! Get going! Nighthawk waited for the Agents to catch up before he continued running. Anaconda, Nighthawk, and the rest of the Agents made it far enough to escape the immediate danger, but they did not stop until they had reached the other side of the sky bridge, and were standing at the threshold to Alpha Wing. Nighthawk looked at Folee. Nighthawk: Agent...I need to knwo omething...before we go aany further...how did The Trust get their hnds on Jacob!? It was my understanding he was killed...yes, here he is...working for The Trust. What happened?

[Hells Sniper]

Folee shook his head. Folee: To be honest Nighthawk...none of us have any idea. We thought he died in that crash! We didn't see anyone escape! Folee paused. Folee: According to the Citadel logs, he reported that he had escaped in a prowler and was dodging the Trust for the past day...but once we saw the footage, he emerged with Black Team and just started shooting. How it happened, why it happened, where it happened...we're clueless. Meanwhile: Lisa was trying to push into the CC. Lisa: Just get me in contact with a computer! The two marines she was with nodded and charged into the room firing on Limos' and Whiskey's/Tango's position, forcing them to hide. This gave Lisa enough time to run in, fire a few shots, and then get access to a computer. All she needed was a minute to access the systems....all she needed was to find her file and transfer it to her PDA.

Nighthawk: You say that Jacob said he escaped in a Prowler. Think about that for a second. Correct me if I am wrong...but my sources tell me that Jacob was on a Trust Destroyer when it exploded. If The Trust managed to get the upper hand on Jacob...they could of escaped the explosion in a stealthed Prowler. They may of captured Jacob...and subjected him to the same procedures used on Black Team. Nighthawk began to think. Nighthawk: If that is the case...there may be a real possibility that Jacob has been augmented by The Trust. Aent Folee,...I am sure you have you ever heard of The Orion Project. I dunno if you have or not...but...it was basically The Spartan I program. Every member of Black Team was Spartan 1. Black 1, Black 2, Black 3, and Black 4...they are all Spartan Is. If The Trust now has a Black 5...it is very likely that Jacob may of been augmented using the original Spartan I formula...and then manipulated by The Trust...subjecting him to mental conditioning...or any number of procedures. I am not sure exactly what they have done to him to turn him on ONI...but I am almost positive that he is now a Spartan I.

[Hells Sniper]

Folee nodded. Folee: Honestly, that would explain a lot...Jacob is faster, stronger, he's different now both physically and mentally. Folee paused. Folee: All I know Nighthawk is that...whatever that person is under the suit, it certainly isn't Jacob. He proved it here when he killed his friend, when he slaughtered two dozen marines, and when his brother even said so. That's not Jacob...and I think we should do all in our power to stop him.

[Naked Crook]

Nighthawk nodded. Nighthawk: Agreed. Whatever that thing is...don't hold back. Nighthawk sighed. He then raised his gun, and ejected the slip, catching it before it fell. He put the empty clip in a side pouch, and grabbed a full clip. He loaded his Deserthawk, and chambered the first round. Nighthawk: I have done this once...I can do it again. Nighthawk turned to Anaconda. Nighthawk: I need you on point. Find a scent and follow it. As soon as we engage the enemy...engage active camo and see if you can get around behind them...and take them out. Kill them all... Anaconda: Very well... Anaconda grunted and took point, with a Mauler in his right hand. Nighthawk then raised his gun and began to move through Alpha Wing, following behind Anaconda.

Stolt was furious. Not because of what any of Black team did. They were just following whatever orders had been given to them. No, he was angry at the ONI Agents. At TF-117. One was killed, and several more were seriously injured because not a single one was unable to put aside their personal feelings for a dead man and refused to do what was necessary to protect themselves and those whom they swore to defend. Only after seeing one of them brutally killed and several more injured did they come to their senses. But it was too late now, and they would have to live with the consequences of their failures. The failure to disconnect their personal emotions from their professional work. But he sympathized with them as well. Stolt had to put down a few of his friends in the past because they chose to go rogue or defect. They were dangerous, and he knew that. He sighed as he loosened his grip on the assault rifle Stolt: Well, it appears they'll be heading towards the genetics and bio labs. Spartans tend to stick to each other since they're a dying breed. And with their cloning capabilities, chances are that they'd like to build their own army of Spartans. Or perhaps acquire the necessary tools to further enhance themselves. Who knows. He paused for a moment to think about what was happening. Here, standing before him and the other agents were Nighthawk and Anaconda, two of ONIs most wanted. And instead of killing each other, the two forces were working in unison. But after all, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." He was still suspicious of the duo's intentions, but as long as they helped, he'd have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Stolt continued to walk with the other agents.

[Hells Sniper]

The Agents all prepped their weapons, reloading and checking them for jams. Foleelooked at Stolt when he spoke up. Folee: Well, let's make sure they don't get their hands on the necessary bio samples! Folee cocked his shotgun, expending the empty shell from the barrel and loading a new one. Folee: Let's move! Meanwhile: The Trust marines were able to keep Limos, Whiskey and Tango in cover as Lisa downloaded the necessary information to find her family information on the Citadel... She was downloading information off the computer as well as looking for her files. Alas, there they were...but they were locked...the password was in Room 8B along with everything she needed to know about her past. She looked to her left, B-Hall...that's where she needed to go. She reloaded her battle rifle and then began to fire at Limos. Limos: Covering fire! The marines unloaded their weapons as Lisa made a dash to the hallway, two marines following her. The other three staying to suppress the Agent, Whiskey, and Tango.

Meanwhile: The Dreadhawk and The Infinity's Voyage had engaged The Ulterior Motive, and the three ships were now exchanging fire. Kolya: Status of enemy ships!? Trust Officer: The Dreadhawk and The Infinity's Voyager have sustained minor damage to their out hull. Their point defense weapons have been neutralizing the majority of our Archer Missiles. Kolya: Status of The Ablative Armor? Trust officer: The Ablative Armor is holding strong. We have sustained limited damage to the port armor. Kolya: Turn our port section away from the attacing ships, and resume fire. Do not allow ONI to attack a single section of armor for too long. Meanwhile: HAWK and Temple, along with the team of ODSTs they were with, had entered Epsilon Wing, and were making their way down towards the sub-basements. They had stopped at a large elevator. Temple walked up the the controls for the lift and tried to summon the elevator. Thankfully, the elevator still worked, as it was on an independent system. Temple: So far...so good. We have ot really engaged any hostiles. HAWK: I guess we can be thankful for small miracles. Temple nodded. Temple: So...how exactly do you plan to reinitialize the base operating system? HAWK: I am hoping at least one of the redundant server did not suffer any hardware damage when the servers were halted by errors. If at least one of them can be reapired, we can get this facility back up and running. We could isolate The Trust intheir respective sections and pick them off one by one...and anyone that tries to escape...we can shoot them down. Temple: Seems like a solid plan. How long will it take? HAWK: 10...15 minutes. It all depends on the condition of the hardware down there, as well as however long it takes to bypass corrupted Operating System files. Temple: Well...the sooner the better. The elevator beeped, and the door opened. HAWK, Temple, and the ODSTs stepped inside. Temple pressed the sub basement button. The doors closed, and the elevator began its long journey downwards. Temple: Alright boys...listen up. When we get down there, we have to secure the perimeter...and we have to disable this lift as soon as we get down there. We cannot allow The Trust to gain access to this part of the facility. There is one elevator that leads down here...and we are going to lock it down once it reaches the bottom. AFter that...we cover the door with everything we have...explosives, guns...you name it. Nothing gets by. Meanwhile: Nighthawk had his weapon raised as he walked near the front of the group. He was at full attention, keeping his eyes open for any traps or enemy contacts. Nighthawk: Does anyone know if there are any ONI personnel inside Alpha Wing? Whatever we can get in terms of backup would be rather helpful. Anaconda: We don't need backup...we are the backup... Nighthawk: Still...Black Team is notorious for being highly adaptive and very cunning. The more people we have on our side...the better. Nighthawk paused. Nighthawk: Then again...I think The Trust killed just about every ONI military contact on that sky bridge. The Scientists assigned to this wing may of evacuated. Anaconda: That means it is just us...and Black Team. Good... Meanwhile: Black Team moved through Alpha Wing, making a B-Line right for the cold-storage where the genetic samples were stored. Black 1 led the group, with Black 2 watching their flank. Black 2 had his Automag in one hand, and his PDA in the other. Black 2: Boss...I think the majority of our clones have been wiped out. I am not sure...but we may be the last of The Trust in the Citadel. I have not heard from any of the other teams. Black 1 sighed. Black 1: Well...forget the clones. Do we have any HUMAN soldiers left? Black 2: I think Seth's team is still active...and I believe The General is still active as well. Black 1: Good enough. They will have to keep ONI busy for a while.

[Erex]

Seth: We are still here, we are holding your EVAC. We might have company soon, but we will hold them off. Fola: I've never thought I'd be a WMD. Seth: WMD, your not a nuke. Fola: No a Weapon of Mass Distraction. Seth: Oh kay. Black 1, we have your evac, and we'll distract anyone that gets too close, sir, we'll provide cover fire.

[Kairu]

Sigma Squad picked up some ammo lying around with some grenades. James: "We're all set." MEANWHILE Cochraine was reviewing battle statuses. Cochraine: "Bring the ship around. Match their course and speed. Fire at their communications subsystem."
