Harrison sighed, he had a look of remorse across his face. He too, was clearly not happy with what had happened. Harrison: Jacob stayed on board to cover the retreat...the Agents were under heavy fire. He stayed behind, and we haven't received any communications from him since the explosion. Harrison sighed. Harrison: He is officially declared Missing in Action...there is a very slim chance he is alive. I'm sorry, but Jacob's gone.

[Naked Crook]

Hayes: It was my understanding that Jacob...he had...family. Have they been informed of this yet? Hayes paused. Hayes: If not...they should be infomrmed right away...

[Hells Sniper]

Harrison: I am preparing a formal statement to address to both his daughter, Heather and his ex-wife, Abigail. Dallas has already been informed, he was the first to know. Harrison paused. Harrison: I knew you two both served with Jacob, as did I and many others, I did not want you to just see his name in the casualty lists. He deserves more than that.

[Naked Crook]

Hayes nodded. Hayes: You said that the rest of his team returned with data that they captured? Has this information been decoded and analyzed? If not...I might be able to speed things up. My ship's AI has very specific functionalty which will enable it to quickly decrypt and analyze any information that was captured. I would ask that this information be handed over to me for...expedient analysis. Hayes paused. Hayes: As much as Jacob's death is looming...we are still in precarious situation with The Trust. If it was one of us that was killed...I believe Jacob would be the first one to make it quite clear that we must focus on The Trust above all else...no matter how difficult things may be at the moment. I will not believe that Jacob was so selfish that in death...he would expect us to put everything on hold. I believe he would expect us to act...to put as many of these bastards in the grave in his memory as we could. Burke sighed. Burke: The Captain is right. Despite the difficulty of the situation...we must remain focused on the mission at hand. Burke paused. Burke: What Hayes says is true...The King Raven is equipped with a specialized AI...intended to counter The Trust and their tacticts. I believe the data should be haded to him. Let Hayes deal with it. Meanwhile: Black 1: A poncho...from this place? No thanks. Accepting a poncho from you would be like jumping into a sewage line. Black 1 paused. Black: We'll pass on anything that requires us, or you, to waste time and delay our departure from this place.

Harrison nodded. Harrison: I agree, let's honor Jacob in the only way we know how. Putting the Trust bastards in the ground. Harrison retrieved Phoenix from his pocket. Harrison: The AI, Phoenix, he had downloaded all the data. As I am not very well with these things, I hand him over to you, Captain. Good luck. Harrison reached out to hand Hayes' the chip. Meanwhile: Lisa and Jacob sat across from each other, silent. Eventually, the pilot spoke over the comms. Pilot: General...we will be exiting slipspace in 5 minutes. Shall I inform Admiral Kolya of our arrival? Lisa: Yes. Priority 1 Message...tell him... Lisa turned to Jacob and smiled. Lisa: We have the Agent.

Hayes reached out and grabbed the data chip. Hayes: I will initialize Phoenix when I get back to The King Raven...and I will let the AI offload the data it retirved. HAWK should know exactly what needs to be done. I will have a report for you in two hours...tops. Hayes paused. Hayes: And on that note...I feel that I have a few people to inform of these...developments. Jacob had quite a few friends on The Cloak and Dagger. I am due to issue a report to Director Vernette very soon...so I can handle that. Hayes looked at the AI chip. He put it in his pocket. Burke: In the mean time...I will return to The Dreadhawk...and I am going to get every ship in the fleet to listen for any and all Trust activity. One way or the other...I plan on finding us our next target...and we are going to keep searching for targets until every last member of The Trust is dead. Burke sighed. Burke: If necessary...I will even try and get our deep space reconnaissance vessels to search...

[Hells Sniper]

Harrison nodded. Harrison: In the meantime...I am going to make some rounds, make sure the crews morale stays relatively upwards. After that, I'll do as much as I can with directing the fleet around. Harrison paused. Harrison: I will also continue some of my own work...so I will be in the lab if anyone needs to meet with me.

[Naked Crook]

Hayes nodded. He then saluted. Hayes: Very good sir. Hayes paused. Hayes: I should get back...the sooner I get this data decrypted...the better. Hayes turned and left The Crimson Shadow's Observation deck. Burke then looked at Harrison. He nodded. Burke: Admiral... Burke then turned and left The Observation Deck as well. Both Burke and Hayes proceeded back down to the hanger bay, making their way back to their respective ships.

[Hells Sniper]

Harrison nodded as the two left. Shadow materialized seconds later. Shadow: That went...well? Harrison shrugged. Harrison: As well as it could. Meanwhile The Trust prowler dropped out of slip space near the Ulterior Motive. The pilot immediately contacted the ship. Pilot: This is the Towering Elitist, requesting permission to dock. Brigadier General Pinestar, as well as ONI Agent on board.

Hayes had returned to the King Raven after what seemed like a an eternity on that Pelican. By the time Hayes had felt the Pelican docking in the hanger bay of The King Raven, he was very anxious to get out of this cramped ship. Hayes wasted no time in getting off the Pelican. He left the hanger bay, and walked through the corridors of The King Raven. Hayes had eventually made his way to the bridge. HAWK: Welcome back sir... Hayes: HAWK...I need you to analyze some information that was recovered. HAWK: Alright... HAWK could tell someting was bothering Hayes. HAWK: Is there anything else? Hayes: Yes...no...nothing related to the mission at hand. Hayes looked over at Temple, who was sitting in the command chair. Hayes: Commander... Temple stood up and walked over to Hayes. Hayes: Assist HAWK with decoding this information. Hayes handed Temple Phoenix's data chip. Temple: An AI? Hayes: It is Phoenix...Jacob's AI... Temple looked at Hayes and thought for a moment. Temple: Why do we have his AI? Shouldn't this be with Jacob? Hayes: Jacob won't be needing this anymore... Temple: May I ask why? Hayes: Because Jacob is dead...he was KIA getting this information...so find something we can use...and don't let anything go to waste. The AI is still intact mind you...so...don't go destroying anything just to get information. Temple sighed. Temple: Aye sir... Temple took the AI chip. Hayes: Like I said...assist HAWK... Hayes turned and left the bridge, heading to his office. Hayes sat down at his desk and sighed. He simply looked at the wall, staring at it, deep in thought. He shook his head. Hayes: Just when you think that someone is going to be around forever...they are suddenly whisked away.
