Liam laughed as he began to get up, using the sandbags as leverage. He turned to Cameron and stretched his back.
Liam: Treacherous slime? Embarrassment to the Spartan program?
Liam laughed loudly as he took a few steps towards Cameron.
Liam: The leader of the Class 0's now leads no one. The only embarrassment here is you, the only treachery that has been done was done by you.
Liam grabbed the shotgun off of his back in a quick swipe and fired it at Cameron, hitting him point blank with three shots, destroying his shields. Liam cocked his shotgun, but it jammed so he tossed it away. With Cameron still dazed, Liam charged Cameron and barreled into him, sending him crashing to the floor. Liam stood over him as he placed his knee on Cameron's neck.
Liam: You're words mean nothing to us now, sir.
Liam pushed farther down on Cameron's neck as he looked around the hangar bay, noticing Savannah and Jacob's entanglement.
Desmond recovered from the kick rather quickly as he circled around Dark. Desmond smiled underneath his helmet.
Desmond: We thought you were dead, Drake. After you and Cameron there disappeared off of our radars, we thought you both died.
Desmond laughed as he raised his fists.
Desmond: After all, Spartans never die, right?
Desmond ran straight at Dark and slammed his fist into his helmet, sending Dark to the floor in a quick instant. Desmond laughed as Dark tried to get up, only for Desmond to slam his foot down on Dark's back.
Desmond: They're only missing in action.
Meanwhile:
William continued to fire on the cyclops, aiming his turret as best he could to do damage to the most vulnerable areas of the cyclops. While Jessica tried to get away from the fire from both the Cyclops and members of Diamond Team, William kept up suppressive fire, every so often moving his turret at the ODSTs.
Emma, had meanwhile circled around to get the cyclops from behind, but to her dismay came under fire from two more members of Diamond team. Reluctantly, Emma had to get into cover to get away, she had to take her time with this.
Meanwhile:
With Jacob charging, Savannah analyzed the situation. If she could get her hands on the sword, she would end Jacob's life and then go after his family once it was said and done. Savannah smiled as Jacob jumped into the air, spinning the sword downwards, but Savannah fired her rifle at Jacob, as a few of the rounds hit him in his lightly armored areas. Savannah rolled out of the way as Jacob headed downwards, his grip on the sword loosened and he ultimately embedded the sword in the ground.
Savannah: You are not very well trained.
Jacob glared at Savannah who was walking back towards him as he tugged on the blade from the ground. Jacob could feel the bullet wounds in his sides as bits of blood began to flow out of the holes in his armor. However, Jacob continued to tug on the sword, pushing himself through the pain attempting to pull it out before Savannah got to close to him.
Savannah: A poorly trained, wounded, traitorous, little, tiny, man.
Savannah stepped in front of Jacob and the sword, but Jacob didn't move, he held onto the sword with his hand. Savannah laughed as she punched him multiple times in the chest and then sent one strong uppercut, sending him flying back. However, Jacob's grip on the sword and the force of Savannah's punch made the sword fly out of the ground and into the air, skidding across the floor. Jacob looked up and saw the sword, he could feel his wounds getting worse. The fact that he never get Jacob shook his his head as he stood upwards and walked towards the sword. Savannah however, already moved towards it, but it was much closer to Jacob.
Jacob grabbed the hilt of the sword and pulled it close to him as he used his spare hand to help him get up. Just when he thought he had the upper hand, he was shot in the chest multiple times by Savannah. As Jacob didn't have enough time to lift the sword, the bullets hit his armor one by one, embedding themselves into him. Jacob knew he was losing a lot of blood and he knew he only had one chance.
Savannah laughed as she tossed her gun away and walked towards Jacob, grabbing him by the throat and lifting him upwards. Jacob began to gasp for air, but he kept his hand tight around the blade's hilt. Savannah laughed as she began to squeeze. Jacob's vision began to blur as he slowly lifted the blade and with the last bit of strength he had left. Savannah was too focused, too much in a blood frenzy to notice the blade moving to her stomach.
Jacob used the last bit of energy he had left to thrust the blade into Savannah's stomach. Savannah gasped for air as she let go of Jacob. Jacob fell to the floor and crawled backwards as Savannah fell to her knees. She took several deep, exasperated breaths; trying to find the oxygen she needed. Jacob stood upwards, taking deep breaths as his wounds continued to bleed. He looked at Savannah as he grabbed the sword's hilt and pulled it from her stomach.
Savannah took another deep breath and looked up at Jacob as she clenched her stomach wound.
Jacob held the sword in two hands and looked at Savannah.
Jacob: This is where you die.
Savannah was about to lunge at Jacob, but Jacob swung the sword in a lateral swipe. The sword pierced through the first layer of armor and got caught midway through Savannah's torso. Savannah started to fall over as her torso was ripped in half. Jacob pulled the sword from her and swung it again. The sword, which was already hot from power consumption, began to get even hotter. Jacob slashed at Savannah's body and in one final slash, Jacob sent the sword clean through Savannah's torso. The sword going in one end and coming out the other.
Savannah's upper torso fell backwards, as her legs and lower torso fell forward. She was split in two. Jacob looked at what he had done, he looked at Savannah and slowly his vision began to blur. Slowly, he began to lose consciousness from the bullet wounds. Jacob looked down at the sword in his hands until he fell to his knees. Jacob shook his head, trying to stay conscious he took a few steps towards the closest door. Eventually Jacob fell, dropping the sword. He kept crawling however, as he used his hands to move him towards the door.
Jacob's vision continued to blur until he reached the wall, he shook his head once more as he attempted to grab the door handle, but his hand fell. He rolled over and took a deep breath as he passed out.
Across the hangar bay, Liam had seen the whole thing. He watched as Savannah was stabbed and ultimately split in half by a two-timing ODST son of a bitch. Liam watched the entire scene unfold and he was left speechless. He didn't know what to do, and he knew his team was going to lose if they couldn't figure something out. Liam had to focus, here and now, he had to try and save what was left of his Spartans.
Liam: All teams, this is Liam-Z074, fall back to Checkpoint Foxtrot. All teams fall back! That means you too Hammer Team!
