Just outside the Prowler bay, Tye stepped back, just as Nighthawk had requested. As he did, he looked at Dark and addressed the question.
Tyber: Honestly Spartan? When was the last time you saw one of these guys handing in applications for the military? I think we have lightning in a bottle here.
Nighthawk also stepped back, along with Cameron. Nighthawk laughed as he chimed into the conversation.
Nighthawk: That just about sums it up.
Nighthawk paused.
Nighthawk: Not many like him.
Anaconda snorted, as he he grabbed his Hammer off his back, and held it in his hands.
Anaconda: Ain't noby like me, but me...
Just after he said this, he roared, as he slammed his Hammer against the bulkhead door, creating a massive dent in the door. Anaconda snarled, as he pulled the hammer from the door, and took another swing, creating an even bigger dent in the door.
Cameron: Might as well check our ammo while we wait...
Cameron began to check the reserves on his Assault Rifle, as Anaconda slowly hammered through the large bulkhead door.
With each and every strike, the bulkhead door began to buckle more and more, as it slowly dented inwards, losing its structural integrity, ready to fall to the ground, ready to burst right off of its hydraulic systems. With the door at its breaking point, Anaconda took a few steps back, as he tightly gripped his Hammer. He growled, and charged at the door, as he gave one final blow to the door. The force of impact was enough to break the bulkhead door down, as the massive metal door fell inwards, and landed on the ground of the Prowler Bay.
Meanwhile:
As the maintenance lift moved down towards The Prowler Bay, Black Team and Nova Team were checking rheir weapons, making sure they were fully loaded and prepped to go. Novak and The Consultant, on the other hand, simply stood at the ready, their sidearms in their holsters. As Black team checked their weapons, they began to make small talk.
Black 1: I wonder how The Risk Takers are doing?
Anubis: Who knows. Who cares?
Black 1: Well...they are one of our front line teams.
Anubis: So?
Anubis paused.
Anubis: Just because Savannah got diced up like a piece of ham, does not mean that we need to worry about them. After all...Spartans never die...right?
The Consultant: Clearly...they do die.
Black Team looked at Anubis, and The Consultant, but Black 2 was the one that spoke up.
Black 2: That is pretty cold. Honestly...she got killed by a traitor...she didn't deserve it.
The Consultant: No...she didn't...
The Consultant paused.
The Consultant: However...it happened...and it was seen. There is no denying the facts. The idea that Spartans never die is propeganda, nothing more.
The Consultant shrugged.
The Consultant: I personally dislike the notion.
Black 2 sighed, but Black 3 spoke up.
Black 3: I am surprised that the Guest House would be unable to help her.
Novak: Savannah was cut in half. The Guest House cannot repair that level of damage. There is no saving her. She is toast. Honestly...I don;t think The Risk Takers are going to be able to accept this fact.
Everyone looked at Novak.
Osiris: Explain?
Novak: Well...when I heard that Savannah had died...I had but one concern; the team's stability. You see...The Risk Takers were trained to act as a unit...a single entity with the sole intent of stopping Nighthawk and Anaconda. Unlike Black Team and Nova Team, which can operate autonomously, The Risk Takers were so inter-dependant, that it was always a concern that if one of them was KIA, it would totally disrupt their efficiency. We traded team stability for effective combat prowess. We were hoping that they would have been so effective at their job, that instability from a dead member would have been a non-issue. Clearly...we did not anticipate a double turn-coat like Jascob. Had Jacob have been, categorically, an enemy...he would never have got close enough to Savannah to make the kill. He should have been killed at ONI Installation Desert.
Novak sighed.
Novak: They barely had started the fight against Nighthawk and Anaconda...then...Savannah dies. I worry about the longevity of The Risk Taker project.
The Consultant: Well, we cannot worry about that now. We have to stay focused on the task at hand.
As the Maintence lift began to move down into the Prowler Bay, the sound of something slamming on the Prowler Bay door could be heard. Nova Team and Black Team raised their weapons as they looked at the bulkhead door.
Black 4: Speaking of the task at hand!
Imohtep: Something is trying to get through the door...
Black 1: No doubt it is the fucking Brute and his Hammer. It is the ONLY thing it could be. We saw him with Tye not too long ago.
Anubis: Who cares...from the looks of it...that door is about to give out! We need to move our asses!
The maintenance elevator stopped moving, as it had touch down on the Prowler Bay floor. As the elevator stopped, the Bulkhead door flew off its hydraulic system, and slammed to the floor. The first thing Black Team and Nova Team saw was Anaconda, standing there with a hammer in his hands.
Black 1: Son of a bitch!
Anubis: Black 3, Black 4...Get Vanguard to the Prowler! The rest of us will handle this!
Black 1 and Black 2 stepped forward, as they advanced with Nova Team, pushing towards the breach point. The six ODSTs laid down suppressive fire on Anaconda's position, as Black 3 and Black 4 moved the Durance Shell towards the Prowler.
Anaconda, on the other hand, had moved to the side, as he took cover from the gunfire.
Anaconda: They are moving Vanguard!
Tye looked at Cameron and Dark.
Tyber: Cam, Dark...move forward! Engage Nova Team. I will provide support cover!
Tye then looked at Nighthawk and Anaconda.
Tyber: The two of you have to stop that Vanguard thing! Move it!
Meanwhile:
Not far from the hanger bay - the point of entry for Xyrho and his team, Xyrho had just finished cutting down the ODSTs that stood in his way. AFter Xyrho had dispatched these enemies, he had turned to look at Dangerus, to answer the Chieftain's question. However, before he could answer, he found himself coming under fire from Frya and Tyr. Based singularly on his own experience, he knew that Spartans were equipped with the necessary equipment to spot units that were concealed under the obscurity of active camouflage. His instincts proved correct, when he came under heavy fire.
For a brief moment, Xyrho took note of the fact that the two Spartans that they had just encountered, were using Brute gravity hammers. This very fact perplexed Xyrho, but Xyrho was forced to suspend his interest in this fact and back away and seek cover, as his shields were nearly depleted from the onslaught of gunfire that rained down upon him. However, with Xyrho in cover, Voro was free to take point, as he raised both of his Plasma Rifles, and returned fire on Tyr, Freya, and the other ODSTs.
Voro: Move forward against the filth! Do not allow them to halt our advance!
As Voro took the lead, Xyrho allowed his sheidls to recover. As he waited, he was able to answer Dangerus' question. Xyrho looked at Dangerus, who was about to engage the Trust hostiles in battle. Xyrho called out to Dangerus before the CHieftain had a change to engage.
Xyrho: Chieftain!
Xyrho paused, as he got Dangerus' attention.
Xyrho: I have a drone searching this vessel for any sign of the construct! SO far, it has narrowed down its search, and it is closing in on the exact position of the construct! I require more time in order to pinpoint the exact location of the construct!
Xyrho paused.
Xyrho: I should know the answer you seek very shortly!
Xyrho then paused, as he looked at Voro, and his other Elites.
Xyrho: Voro! Lead the Elites into battle! Vanquish the acolytes...show them no mercy and no pity!
It was Voro's turn to seek cover, as his shields began to deplete from the gunfire. Voro was on the other side of the corridor, as he simply looked at Xyrho, and nodded.
Meanwhile:
Further into the corridors of The Ulterior Motive, as Liam, Desmond, Jessica, along with the other members of Hammer Team attempted to make their way to the stairwell to try and located Vanguard, HAWK, who still had control of the CYclops, moved through the corridors, closing in on the location of Liam and the others. Just before Liam and the other Spartans could reach the stairwell, the Cyclops had turned the corner, and blocked the path, preventing Liam, Desmond, Jessica, and the other members of Hammer Team from reaching their desired destination.

As the Cyclops stepped forward, forcing the Risk Takers back, HAWK began to speak.
HAWK: I have been looking for you guys. You ran after you got your asses kicked in the hanger bay...after your friend got sliced in half. What was her name? Sandra...something? I don't care...
HAWK spoke in a very disparaging, disrespectful tone.
HAWK: I should point out, that we do have one thing in common...
HAWK paused.
HAWK: Much like you Risk Takers, you Spartans, I enjoy picking on people smaller than me.
HAWK then charged forward with the Cyclops, as he used the immense weight of the mech, to push Liam, Desmond, and Jessica back. Thor, Ullr, and Hel, however, managed to jump back, to avoid getting knocked down.
