The terminal in Hammer Team's armory had prompted with the forwarded message, alerting of new updates.
Thor: "Hello there!"
Thor pressed the button as all the information on Fireteam Harmony popped up, several dozen frames on the holotable appeared, varying from medical history, background, basic information and service record, to live feeds of the team at that moment. One of the other Spartans at the table had decided to speak up.
Man: "This Reynolds man seems pretty thorough. Looks like an added treat of livefeeds. Very useful."
Thor agreed, dismissing everything but the earliest information on Fireteam Harmony.
Thor: "Yes, he is. Perhaps worthy of being a Trust operative. He probably doesn't know what he just did, Ullr."
Woman: "He was probably thinking more about saving his own skin. Yates and Director Spender can be cruel SOBs."
Thor: "I'm not going to doubt you there, Freyja. Let's focus on the basics."
Thor maximized the service and medical histories of all of the current members, including their status.
Thor: "Fireteam Harmony, a five-man team of ODSTs actively stationed aboard Captain Marcus Reynolds' ship, the Mind's Attrition. Looks like their sniper, Staff Sergeant Brandon Sierra is now deceased..."
Ullr interjected with a compliment.
Ullr: "Wow, with a Brute Chieftain? And they destroyed a portion of the Covenant fleet in orbit? Damn, they might be worth our attention after all."
Freyja jested back.
Freyja: "You mad you never get to deal with a Brute Chieftain and the Covenant anymore?"
Ullr merely shrugged.
Ullr: "Nah, not really. They're overrated."
Freyja continued her jests.
Freyja: "That doesn't sound very 'honorable', Ullr."
As Freyja said 'honorable' she did her best to mimic and mock Ullr. Thor had them stop chatting.
Thor: "Both of you quiet and focus. Fireteam Harmony is lead by Master Sergeant Jessica Arman. She is 38 years old and born on Earth. She's served faithfully and loyally in the UNSC since she was 18."
Freyja cut back in, reading off part of Reynolds' assessment.
Freyja: "Favors shotguns and sub-machine guns. Often stonewalled and keeps the team focused on its objective. She rarely smiles and partakes in the team's games they have with each other. She has been a great asset to the ship and crew and is reliable to have in a tough combat situation."
Ullr: "So get rid of her, and the team will fall apart?"
Freyja: "Looks like it."
Freyja dismissed the assessment and looked at Thor.
Freyja: "Who is next?"
Thor thumbed through the team's roster.
Thor: "Sergeant Frazer Robertson, 29, ODST. He is now the second-in-command of Fireteam Harmony. He's specialized and certified for explosives handling and demolitions."
Freyja began to read off Reynolds' assessment of Robertson.
Freyja: "Sergeant Robertson is the team's morale officer, so to speak. He keeps the team smiling and feeling good, even in his darker moments. Occasionally, he has needed outside encouragement or praise to keep his own morale up for the team. He creates competitive games with his teammates to help lighten the atmosphere and combat. He has also recently requested to be trained in basic first aid. On a side note: Sergeant Robertson also keeps in close contact with his parents on Skopje."
Thor: "Interesting... we diminish his self-esteem and ego and the team's morale diminishes. Next we have..."
Thor thumbed to the next service record as Freyja dismissed Reynolds' assessment of Robertson.
Thor: "Corporal Richard Axlon, 30, ODST, and a native to Mars. He's the tech expert of the team and eagerly looks forward to examining new technology. He is also basic certified to pilot vehicles, both alien and Human."
Freyja brought up his assessment.
Freyja: "Corporal Axlon is referred to as 'the Geek' in Fireteam Harmony due to his skilled abilities with technology. He gets along with all of his teammates and is the closest to Sergeant Robertson, often being the fuel to Robertson's metaphorical fire."
Ullr: "Ew, that just sounds weird."
Freyja: "Yeah, I'm not going to even bother with the rest."
Freyja and Thor gladly put the information about Axlon up and pulling out the last active member's information.
Thor: "Private, Second Class Agate Cadieux, 25, ODST, native to France on Earth. Newest member of Fireteam Harmony. She did fairly well at Lafayette's Academy of Military History and Sciences in Paris, France. She's had little time out in real combat situations and was assigned to Fireteam Harmony by Reynolds."
Freyja began reading off Cadieux's assessment.
Freyja: "Private Cadieux is the youngest and newest member of Fireteam Harmony. She doesn't talk much, either preferring to stay quiet or out of discomfort around her teammates. When observed, she gets along well, often participating in Robertson's competitive games. She's a highly adaptable and capable soldier, although she blames herself for losing her helmet while boarding a Covenant Assault Carrier. She feels this event is what got Staff Sergeant Brandon Sierra killed."
Freyja stopped reading the assessment.
Freyja: "Aww the poor baby blames herself for her team member's death. How pitiful."
Thor: "That's enough Freyja. We're here to learn about these people, not ridicule them."
Freyja frowned at Thor.
Freyja: "What's the difference? I mean really, is it that big of a deal?"
Ullr: "If they boarded a CAC and destroyed a portion of the Covenant fleet, then yes, it is. We should be seriously focused on this."
Freyja threw her hands in the air, accepting her defeat.
Freyja: "Fine, what else do we have?"
Thor rummaged through the files. A devious smile lit up on his face as he looked at the rest of his team.
Thor: "How about personal logs?"
The rest of the team smiled just as maliciously. They knew they could really get into their opponent's head after they go through these.
