With the alarm going off, Reynolds hurried to the pelican that previously brought him and Cochraine on-board. When he got on board he tapped the pilot's shoulder and motioned a forward hand signal. The pilot took off back towards the Mind's Attrition. When it docked Reynolds wasted no time transferring to one of his pelicans. He messaged Anderson on the bridge as the new pelican took off towards the Vigerous Inferno. Reynolds: "Anderson, I'm en route to the Vigerous Inferno. The Lieutenant Commander is still with 'ONI'. When she is recovered, she'll return." Anderson: "Ok, Sir. We also have half of Fireteam Harmony on board." Reynolds: "Half?" Anderson: "Yes, Sir. According to Private Cadieux, they lost Sierra. Robertson and Calhoun from Fireteam Zanzibar chose to stay on the surface and help ground operations." Reynolds: "Very good, Anderson. Keep me apprised. Reynolds out." The comm line closed as the pelican began transmitting docking codes.

[Hells Sniper]

Liam and the rest of the Risk-Takers were in their private armory onboard the Ulterior Motive when they heard the alarm go off. The Risk-Takers all looked to Liam. Liam: Lock it up, Spartans. As much as I care that one of our outposts are under attack, this most likely means Nighthawk and Anaconda are out there. Liam paused. Liam: Lyle, Emma, William, report to the pelican, prep her for launch. Jessica and Desmond, get our equipment on board. Savannah, with me to the bridge. Without a moment's delay, the Risk-Takers began to move. Meanwhile: The Vigorous Inferno received the docking request from Commander Burke, and sent permissions back.

[Erex]

Sergei lowered his head. Sergei: Yes ma'am it wont happen happen again. Permission to enter hatchet it may be an escape route. I meant no offense ma'am but that isnt any excuse I was wrong. Sergei began to smile underneath his visor at the thought of her trying to break his back.

[Naked Crook]

Jennifer rolled her eyes, as she heard Sergai's excuses. Jennifer: Now...you said you found what you think may be an escape hatch? On what evidence have you come to that conclusion? Typically, when I see sealed off holes in the ground...they tend to lead to a place called "underground sewage tunnels"...or the sewer for short. Jennifer paused. Jennifer: The ladst thing I want you doing is crawling around, and getting lost, in what could be nothing more than a sewer system. If you want to go down there and look around...be my guest. However...if you are wrong, you are going to leave us shorthanded. Typically escape routes will put a significant amount of distance between the exit hatch, and the place you are trying to escape from. This has been established on multiple occasions...the most recent of them being Regional HQ Bravo. Jennifer sighed. Jennifer: So I leave that call up to you Spartan. If you want to go down there, it is your call. I advise against it, but I will not order you to NOT go down there. Frost out. Jennifer closed the comm line. As Jennifer closed the comm line, she shook her head and sighed. Tyber: Problems Jennifer? Jennifer: No...no problem... As Jennifer said this, he raised his hand, and clenched his fist. Tye, Jennifer, and Nighthawk saw this, and they stopped. They each readied their weapons, knowing what Cameron had just told them. Cameron, Jennifer, Tye, and Nighthawk proceeded to take cover, as they could hear the chatter of some Trust ODTS ahead. They were unsure what was being said, but based on the ambient noise, it sounded as if a number of ODSTs were gearing up and prepping weapons. Tyber: Sounds like a lot of ODSTs...with a lot of guns. Nighthawk: By the sounds of the footsteps...and the amount of chatter...I estimate between 18 and 24 ODSTs Tyber: Agreed. Jennifer: Suggestions? Cameron: I can take point...I can draw their fire off towards the left. If you three can provide cover, we can hit them from two sides. Classic pincer never fails. Jennifer: Do it. We will cover you. Meanwhile: Black Team had walked onto the bridge of The Ulterior Motive. They were met by both yates and Spender. Black 1: Black team reporting, sir. Spender looked at Black 1. Spender: Naturally. Spender paused. Spender: Before I brief you four on the current situation...I would prefer to wait for The Risk Takers to show up. I would rather not have to give the same briefing twice. I dislike repeating myself. Black 1 nodded. Black 1: Naturally. Meanwhile: Burke's Pelican had landed in the hanger bay of The Vigorous Inferno. Burke had wasted no time in proceeding to the bridge. Upon his arrival on the bridge, Burke looked at Admiral Harrison, and saluted. Burke: Admiral...reporting as per your request.

[Hells Sniper]

Moments later, Liam and Savannah both walked onto the bridge of the Ulterior Motive. Liam nodded at Black Team, as Savannah ignored them and sat at Liam's side. Liam: Admiral, sir. Risk-Takers are prepped and ready to move on your order. Meanwhile: Harrison returned the salute. Harrison: Commander, I am glad you could join me. I trust your repairs are running smoothly? Farther into the facility: Jacob was rushing through the facility corridors, taking turns every few intersections, hoping to get his way into the mainframe before anyone else did. Whatever was in Sector-231-Alpha-Lima, Jacob needed to know and he wanted to know. If anyone was watching his family, he would hunt them down and kill every single one of them. He wouldn't allow anything to happen to them, not this early. Jacob kept his focus on what was in front of him, to him, it was no longer about the facility at large, it was about specifics of it. Jacob knew he was still on a mission, but he also knew he had a mission to his family. He wasn't just going to abandon that mission to complete another. It was either both, or neither. Jacob slowed to a light jog when he heard chatter down the hallway. ODST: Admiral's definitely gonna drop the big guys. ODST 2: Especially if the other "Big guys" show up. Jacob walked up to the intersection and pressed his back against the wall, slowly, he looked around the corner. Six ODSTs, a lot more than he expected, were standing only a few meters from him. Jacob took a deep breath, he had four shots in his sniper, he could definitely take out most, if not all of them. Jacob fell to one knee and held his sniper close to his chest. ODST 3: Whatever, boys. We've got our orders. Besides, whose gonna come down this hallway anyway? Jacob could hear a few ODSTs laughed, he held back, he wanted to hear this. ODST 2: You do realize that Sharpmen guy is here? ODST 3: Yeah, so? ODST 2: The Trust has been after that guy since before the war. They've wanted him in the ranks for a while now. We're here to make sure he doesn't fuck too much shit up. Jacob took a deep breath, this couldn't be happening. He shook his head and prepared to fire. ODST 3: I still think that's--- Before the ODST finished, Jacob had entered the hallway and lined up a shot, he fired one round and instantly killed two of the six marines standing in front of each other. Jacob moved across the hallway and fired off three more rounds, missing one, but killing two of the other ODSTs. Jacob swung his sniper around his back and charged the two remaining ODSTs. The ODSTs were caught so off guard that they had only recently raised their weapons. Jacob rolled in front of one and removed his combat knife, sending a swift stab to the ODST's lower left abdomen. The ODST fell to the side as Jacob stood upwards and turned, sending a punch to the final ODST. The ODST fell backwards, and hit the wall. Jacob had already removed his Socom. Without even questioning anything, he fired one round at the ODST's head against the wall. The ODST's brain matter splattered against the back of the wall as his body slid downwards, leaving a trail of blood. Jacob turned to the last ODST on the ground and removed the knife, without a second thought, he did the same thing. Jacob fired another round of his Socom and before long was already down the hallway.

[Erex]

Sergei: Affirmative we are moving into the hatch Sergei and Havoc open the hatch and when the moved in they found a straight hallway to the facility. Sergei: Captain, we have confirmed it is an escape route it leads straight to the facility. Havoc be on your guard. Captain we will give you 15 minute updates and stay in radio range. Over. Sergei and Havoc pushed closer into the facility escape route encountering no resistance which Sergei thought it be more fortified but locked away his thoughts.

[Naked Crook]

Spender: Good. Very good. Spender paused. Spender: Now...to the point. The reason that I have called you all here is because one of our most critical installations i currently under attack by The UNSC. Spender stood up and walked over to the holotable. Spender: ONI Installation Desert has been breached by a large contingent of UNSC forces. It is unknown how The UNSC discoverd this facility, or why they are assaulting it...but I could name one real possibility... Spender paused. He pressed a few buttons, and the holotable lit up. The holotable created a topographical 3D map of the area around ONI Installation Desert. Spender: Chances are...Nighthawk and Anaconda were the ones that found this place, and they tipped off The UNSC, no doubt taking advantage of the current line of commanding officers currently in charge of UNSC field ops. Spender pressed a few more buttons, and a holographic display on Tye and Jennifer appeared. Spender: Captain Jennifer Frost and Commander Tyber Vernette. We all know that these two serve aboard "Insubordination Central" - otherwise known as The King Raven. If there was a list of people that would be the most likely to listen to people like Nighthawk Anaconda - these two are at the top of the list. We all know that COMMANDER Vernette knows much about The Trust. He would require very little convincing to use his authoirty against us. However, Captain Frost - we consider her to be equally hostile due in large part to the fact that is Preston Vernette's first officer. Black 1: Of course...insubordination by proxy. Spender nodded. Yates: Is there anyone else of notable consequence down there? Spender: A number of people actually. We know that Captain Sharpmen is down there. The Board of Chairmen has expressed interest in Jacob before, and they still do have interest in him. It would be an added bonus if we could capture him. Black 1: Noted. Spender: We also know that Cameron-Z091 is also down there. The Trust has confirmed Cameron's refusal to join THe Trust, and he has been deemed as an expendable hostile. Spender paused. Spender: On that note, The Trust also believes that Commander Vernette and Captain Frost are ALSO expendable hostiles. Nighthawk and Anaconda are priority 1 targets - kill them on sight. Spender paused. Spender: Everyone else - kill them, wound them, leave them, chase them off, recruit them, lie to them, trick them...I don't care. Just secure that facility. Anyone who I did not mention is considered inert and of low strategic value. Spender paused. Spender: One more thing...DO NOT ALLOW NIGHTHAWK AND ANACONDA NEAR OUR CENTRAL DATA SERVERS. Spender paused. Spender: It is considered "very bad" if they get their hands on the information stored in that facility. The last thing e need is allowing them learn about Vanguard's existence. If they find out what we are really doing...those two will go to any length to stop us. We cannot lose access to Vanguard under any circumstance. Is this understood? Black 1: Understood sir. Spender paused. SPender: If there are no further question or concerns, I want you all to deploy immediately. We have Pelicans in the hanger bay prepped for launch. You will be landing planet side at a set of coordinates near ONI Facility Desert. When you arrive, you will be met by Kolya. From there, he will take charge of the counter-attack and will direct "fumigation" efforts against these UNSC pests. Meanwhile: Burke looked at Harrison, and nodded. Burke: Repairs on moving along as expected. We are on schedual to have all of our minor and moderate damage to be fully repair in the next 24 hours. There was very little critical damage to the overall super structure of The King Raven, so that is not a pressing concern. Burke paused. Burke: Sir, if I may be so bold to ask...for what reason was I summoned here? Meanwhile: Cameron had started to move forward, while Tye, Jennifer, and Nighthawk held their position for a moment. They watched as Cameron moved forward, and wasted no time in firing off the initial shots that triggered a firefight. Within seconds, Cameron was under heavy fire from Trust ODSTs. Tyber: Alright...let's move! As Cameron had directed the gun fire away from his initial approach, the other three began to move forward. Tye was on point, and he had readied both of his SMGs. Tyber: Jennifer...provide cover. I will sweep the room. Nighthawk...do whatever it is you do. Jennifer: Got it. Tye took the safety off of both of his SMGs, and emerged from cover, as he fired both of his SMGs, and swept the room. Nighthawk and Jennifer had used their side arms to take precision shots at ODSTs who had turned to engage Tye. With the support fire from the other three, Cameron was able to charged forward, and jump right into the fray, getting point blank on his targets, and taking them down with controlled bursts from his Assault Rifle. It was not long at all before the entire roo was clear, and the floor was littered with dead Trust soldiers. The only sound that could be heard was the sounds of weapons being reloaded. Jennifer: Good work. If we can keep this level of precision up, we can make this go very quickly. Nighthawk had reloaded his Magnum, and was holding it in his left hand. Nighthawk: You know...something comes to mind; where the hell is Jacob? We have not heard a check-in from him. Jennifer: I think it might be best to get a check-in from all points actually. Jennifer tapped her earpiece, and contacted all UNSC points. Jennifer: This is Captain Frost to all points. I want everyone to check in right away. Respond with your current status and approximate position. Priority 1.

[Erex]

sergei: This is Sergei and Havoc squad. We are nearing the enterance to the facility from possible escape route. Sending coordinates. We are in the faciliy now. We are go.... The communication cut out. Sergei: We lost contact. Damnit. Aergei went up a ladder into what appeared to be a cargo bay filled with weapon cases. Sergei: Captain we found a cargo room filled with weapons and ammo still in cases. Enough ammo for anything looks like they are planning a war. Deuce: Lets get some mmo.

[Kairu]

Reynolds stepped into the cockpit. He tapped the pilot's shoulder. Reynolds: "Why aren't we docking?" Pilot: "We haven't received confirmation yet." Reynolds: "Send the Vigerous Inferno docking permission again." Pilot: "Already have been, Sir." Reynolds: "Alright, keep at it." Meanwhile: Calhoun and Robertson were on their own, and pinned down by several Trust ODSTs that were on patrol. When Captain Frost radioed, Calhoun stood around the corner of a wall to provide himself cover. Robertson could hear the radio, he wasn't paying too much attention. Calhoun: "Captain, we are engaged in a firefight. Looks like several ODSTs with grey armor and orange VISRs." Calhoun paused and shot a few rounds, hitting one of the ODSTs with his rifle.

[Hells Sniper]

The Suicide Squad had secured the rest of the floor as well. They regrouped near one of the hallway entrances and received the message from Frost. Athios: This is Sergeant Athios, we are clear and moving forward into the facility. Meanwhile: Harrison nodded. Harrison: Of course, Commander. To be honest, I wanted to talk to you and Captain Reynolds about something I have found out during my trip to the ground. I'd rather wait for Captain Reynolds, but I will tell you now. Harrison paused. Harrison: Commander Burke, have you ever heard of the Trust? Meanwhile: The Vigorous Inferno received a docking request from Captain Reynolds. Officer: Captain Reynolds, Admiral Harrison is waiting for you in the observation deck. You are clear to dock in Hangar Bay nine. Meanwhile: Jacob moved down the hallway, he had his Socom raised upwards as his HUD helped him get to the Sector he needed to. Moments after he finished the fight before, he was contacted by Frost. Jennifer: This is Captain Frost to all points. I want everyone to check in right away. Respond with your current status and approximate position. Priority 1. Jacob halted in the hallway. He rolled his eyes and shut his radio off. Jacob: Sorry Captain...I have something that needs to be taken care of. Jacob continued to move, he was hoping he could make up a pretty good excuse for his radio silence. Hopefully, he'd figure it out by the time the rest of the UNSC found him. All he had to do, was move his ass as fast as he could. Meanwhile: Liam and Savannah nodded. Liam: Yessir, we'll take care of Nighthawk and Anaconda, sir. Moments later, Liam and Savannah left the bridge and headed o the hangar bay to regroup with the rest of the Spartans.
