Dangerus stood in Xyrho's presence for a few minutes. He simply stood, arms crossed, staring at the image in front of him. He recounted what Xyrho had said, that his machine would destroy everything in order to fulfill a purpose. Dangerus grunted, as he circled the holotank, arms behind his back, staring at the image in front of him. It was strange, something he had never seen before. Something that his so called Gods had created, and were ultimately betrayed by. It was of importance for Xyrho to be going into so much depth about and it was surely something that he did not want to see destroy everything it could. Dangerus was not stupid, nor naive as to what he had to do. If it cost him the lives of his brutes, humans, elites, or even himself, he would have to do this. In order to save what he had tried to create, he would have to fight. Dangerus: Shipmaster...you said that you were the one responsible for recreating this.. Dangerus paused and stared at the image. Dangerus: This Vanguard. Dangerus walked around the holotank until he was facing Xyrho. Dangerus: That would mean you would also know how to destroy it, yes?

[Naked Crook]

Yates: Captain Reynolds...you talk big for a man who requested a Spartan Deployment to rescue his...shall we say...female bunkmate? Yates grinned. Yates: Whats the matter Captain Reynolds...secret information not so secret anymore? You ave no secrets from me. Tell me Captain...what does the chain of Command say about dating one of your senior officers? Please...ask me to spell it out for you...I get such enjoyment out of doing this. Meanwhile: Xyrho looked at Dangerus and thought about it. Xyrho: In theory...I would know how to destroy it. I know a few ways to destroy it. Hammers, Firebombs and Plasma Grenades work well. Xyrho paused. Xyrho: If the thing was offline...and not moving...I could take it apart with a high degree of efficiency. Xyrho paused again. Xyrho: Do you have something in mind Chieftain? Are you planning to kill it? Meanwhile: Kolya continued to move through DARK Facility. He was slowly making his way towards the Archives, taking the same turns that Jacob had taken. As Kolya moved, he reached for his Shotgun, and took the safety off. He wanted to be ready for anything.

Dangerus nodded. Dangerus: That is exactly what I am planning to do, Shipmaster. Dangerus turned to face the holotank again, examining the glyph. Dangerus: If what you say is true. If Vanguard can unleash his wrath upon all of us and continue to do so, well...simply said. I cannot allow this. I cannot think of unleashing this thing upon anyone, not even humanity. It must be destroyed. Dangerus turned back to Xyrho. Dangerus: If it still is in slumber, like the other one was, than we can simply destroy it by allowing you to do what you do best with these artifacts. If it is alive... Dangerus paused. Dangerus: Then we will destroy it conventionally. Meanwhile: Jacob had his assault rifle pressed against his chest, behind one of the holotables. Jacob: What do you mean unknown? Ed: I cannot get a fix on who he is in my systems. I have no idea who this man is. Jacob: Then lock him out! He just killed my pilot, he's obviously an enemy! Ed: Captain, even if I did lock him out, there is only one exit to this area... Jacob rolled his eyes as he flicked the safety of his rifle. Jacob: Fucking ONI... Jacob paused and peered around the corner. He dropped his talking down to a whisper. Jacob: Where is he? The AI noted this and spoke through his radio. Ed: Moving to your location now. Jacob sighed. He looked at the percentage bar on his HUD. It was blinking the progress. 11% - 00:15:14 remaining.

Xyrho: I am glad you understand the situation Chieftain. I am glad you will help me in this endeavor. However...for both our sakes...we should keep one thing in mind... Xyrho paused. Xyrho: We should not speak of this to any of the others. I fear...they may not understand. If we can keep this a secret...I believe we can destroy Vanguard, and nobody else will be wise to what we have done. We may just escape this without having to face repudiation at the hands of The Covenant. As long as we are careful...we can avoid anyone else finding out about this... Meanwhile: Kolya moved closer and closer to the Archives. It was not long before Kolya was right outside the Archives. Without stopping Kolya simply walked into the Archives, making his presence very clear. He simply stood at the threshold of the Archives, and did not move. Kolya: Captain Jacob Sharpmen! Kolay's voice echoed in the room. Kolya: I know you are in here. I was briefed on your objective at this facility. I was sent to assist you. Don't pretend you are not in here Captain...I know better than that. This is not my first Rodeo...and it will not be my last.

Dangerus nodded. Dangerus: I couldn't agree more. This should be kept to ourselves...and maximum secrecy is required. Dangerus turned back to the glyph. Dangerus: The Prophets would have our heads if they knew of this. Meanwhile: Jacob heard Kolya. He didn't recognize the voice, but he sure as hell knew he wasn't a friend, and he definitely wasn't here to assist him. Jacob hod only one choice as he watched the download bar move. Jacob: Assist me!? He yelled down the corridor, as his voice echoed through the halls. His location being skewed by his voice. Jacob: Then why the fuck did you kill my pilot?

Kolya: I did no such thing. I would like to know where you are getting your field intel from Captain... Kolya waited for a response from Jacob. However, he slowly started to step forward. Meanwhile: Xyrho: I have no doubt. I hate to say it...but the Prophets no nothing of what lies in wait on this world. Xyrho shrugged. Xyrho: In any case Chieftain...return to your Brutes...do whatever it is you must do. I will remain here to see if I can locate where Vanguard rests. When I find him, I will let you know. From there...we can destroy this monster once and for all!

Dangerus nodded. He pressed his fist to his chest and began to walk away. Before he left the bridge however, he looked at Xyrho. Dangerus: Shipmaster... Dangerus paused. Dangerus: I must thank you for coming to me, I am grateful for this information. Contact me if you need anything at all for your search. Dangerus nodded and left the bridge. Meanwhile: Jacob began to walk towards another section of the archives, yelling as he did. Jacob: I have my ways! Jacob paused. Jacob: I am sure you have heard that I'm an acting Agent now!

Kolya: Ohhh, yes...an acting agent. How nice. Kolya stopped and looked around. Kolya: Well Agent...consider this a direct order from one of your superiors...show yourself...now! I did not come here to play games> I cam here to recover the information you are currently trying to get access to. We are on the same side Agent! Kolya paused again. Kolya: Now...if you want this to be the last time we ever trust you with an important assignment...I suggest you stop playing games, and show yourself.

Jacob stood silently. He didn't trust the man at all, he knew he shot his pilot and he definitely knew he wasn't on his side. Jacob looked at his HUD. 23% - 00:13:12 Jacob took a deep breath. Jacob: Sorry whoever you are, sir. My orders were clear, this was to be a solo op and I was to do it alone. So that is what I'm going to do.

Kolya: Your orders... Kolya looked around. He could hear where Jacob's voice was coming from. Kolya: Your orders...have just destroyed what was left of my patience. Kolya looked around. He approached the large Archive screen that Jacob had first interacted with.. He could see that the file transfer was currently in progress. Kolya: Alright Agent...let's see how much your orders matter. Kolya turned around, and stopped the download. The percentage counter on Jacob's HUD froze. Kolya: Come on Jacob...come and restart the download. I dare you...
