Jacob nodded. Jacob: I have to manually detonate the explosives anyway, just cover me. Jacob said as he began to walk into the tunnel, heading towards the explosives.

Tye chimed in on the conversation between Jacob and Zeph. Tyber: I know who they are...and no...we do not take chase. They are much too dangerous for that in or disorganized state. I will brief you all on this later. For now...we fall back! With that said, Tye fell silent. He knew that this was not the last that they would see of Black Team. In fact...he was expecting to see them again very soon. Meanwhile: As the chaos in the Evac Point raged on, Nighthawk and Anaconda were able to moved almost unopposed right back up to the Inner Atrium. The area was deserted, and the smell of the dead bodies was starting to take hold. As the duo looked around the Inner Atrium, Nighthawk got n contact with his AI. Nighthawk: HAWK...do you copy? HAWK: I am still online. I have been waiting in this Vulture for much longer than expected. Sensors indicate that another wave of Covenant forces are on their way to occupy this buiding. We must leave...now... Nighthawk: ETA? HAWK: 3 minutes. Sensors count an additional 29 Phantoms closing fast. Multiple smaller contacts are also on their way...as well as a Covenant Corvette on a direct course of UNSC Regional HA Bravo. Nighthawk: Alright HAWK...we are ready to evac. We will be there in a moment. We will make our way up to you. HAWK: Engines are primed...ready to depart upon your arrival.

The warthogs lead to the area where Jacob had rigged the explosives. Zephyr put his helmet back on and accessed the private HSK channel. I don't like this... I think those were Harrison's ODST's. Leapfrog put his arm around Katana. They almost took her freakin head off! Zephyr just listened to Tye's words, staring at the brother of his least favorite commanding officer.

Jacob knelt down in the rubble of the tunnel, fishing for the explosive device. He picked it up off the ground and began to inspect the explosives left behind. Jacob: Whoever they are, they were working with that Spartan team, and they're, quote-unquote, "part of ONI."

[Naked Crook]

Tye began to laughed. Tyber: Oh...no they are NOT! Do not believe that for a second. Tye paused. Tyber: And Zeph...those ODSTs...they do not answer to Harrison. They do not answer to anyone as far as I know. As far as I know...they are rouge.

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob looked at Tye. Jacob: And the Spartans, sir? Jacob turned his attention back to the explosives and began to finish up the rigging of them.

HSK was silent. Zephyr watched as the explosives were rigged. Zephyr looked to Tye. I meant the ones Harrison was looking for.

Tyber: Oh, well, yeah...I guess I misunderstood. I have been shot at, wounded, and stabbed for most of the day. I am a bit out of it now that the adrenaline is wearing off. Tye sighed. Tyber: But yes, I stand corrected. Harrison may, or may not of, been looking for them. Tye paused again. He thought about what Jacob had said. Tyber: But...it is funny you should mention the Spartans Jacob...because...well...they were ALL Spartans. All of them. The ODSTs that were in black? They are known as ODST Black Team. They were... Tye paused. Tyber: They ARE...a team of four Spartan 1s. Those men...they are dead inside. I doubt there is any humanity left inside of those husks. A real shame too...

Zephyr got a little uneasy. You know this how? Brooklyn was whispering up a storm again. Katana looked over to Jacob. You almost ready?

Jacob simply nodded. He knew Tye knew a lot about the subject and wanted to finish rigging the explosives.Jacob turned to Katana and nodded. Within a few moments, Jacob stood and had the detonator in his hand. Jacob: Let's roll people. Jacob hopped into one of Zeph's warthogs and waited for them to be off before detonating the explosives.
