Seth walks into the requistion office after stumbling around a bit. Being lost in the ship for a good couple of minutes. Seth: I need a new member for my squad. Officer: Why you don't like the one you got? Seth: No killed in action at Midnight. Officer: You survived? Seth: Yes I did, and most of my squad. Officer: What would you like? Seth: A good medic, or sig officer. Officer: Ok... Let me think of what we have. Officer looked through the files. Officer: We have no available soldiers in those parameters, but we will continue looking in our roster.

Black 1 met up with Black Team as they were on their way to disembark from The Prowler Black 1: Black Team...are you guys ready to go? We have to get moving. Kolya is currently debriefing The Board, and we are going to be late if we don't move our asses right now. Black 1 turned. The rest of Black team got to their feet and were ready to follow Black 1. Black 1: Might as well tag along General. You are more than welcome! Meanwhile: Kolya was in the observation Deck of The Bismarck. There was a large conference table. The setup of the Bismarck's Observation Deck was much different than the setup of any other Observation Deck. The large oak conference table was not set up to allow people to sit around it, but rather, for people to stand in front of it, and speak to the people behind the large desk. Kolya was pacing back and forth in front of the desk, facing 3 other individuals. There were two empty chairs behind The Desk. One of the chairs belonged to Kolya, while the other belonged to a currently abscent member of The Board of Chairmen. Despire this, Kolya had just started his debrief. (See first post for character sheets of The Board of Chairmen) Conway: Admiral Kolya...I see you have returned from your operation on Midnight. We recieved your report...and I must say, after discussing it amongst ourselves...we are not very impressed by the end result. The fact that The King Raven nearly destroyed The Ulterior Motive disturbs us...it disturbs us greatly. Kolya: The "end result" of that engagement was unforseen. The Trust had no idea that ONI had developed active camouflage technology for use on large cruisers. Besides...now we know that ONI has active camo. We can now take that into consideration when we formulate our future plans. Gates: What I would like to know is how ONI developed this technology without any of our operatives noticing. For that matter...where did The King Raven come from? From what we could tell...that ship was not allocated any space or assets at any of ONI's main construction yards. Kolya: I am guessing The King Raven was a Section 0 black budget project. Designs like The King Raven have Section 0 written all over it. Payne: Who cares where it came from...how do we destroy it? Based on your reports Kolya...the lock-on feature of our Archer Missiles were rendered useless by the active camo. Based on even earlier reports, the armor on The King Raven seems to be able to withstand heavy weapons fire...much more than a standard Halcyon should be able to withstand. Kolya: I am currently formulating plans to destroy The King Raven as we speak. When I have something of value...I will bring it forward. Rest assured...this is a minor setback...a setback that will be corrected in very short order! Gates: The fact that ODST Black Team was left behind disturbs us greatly. The loss of ODST Black Team, especially the loss of Mr. Prescott, would be unacceptable! Jonas Prescott is one of The Trust's most trusted and senior members. His loss would be an unacceptable setback! He predates all of us...including you Kolya. Kolya: I have the utmost faith that Black Team survived and accomplished their mission. Kolya paused. He began to pace back and forth. Kolya: With that said...I am sure once Black Team arrives here, to rendevouz with us... Payne: Something that has already happened, for the record. Kolya: What? Payne: The Prowler carrying General Pinestar and ODST Black team just arrived moments ago. They have just docked in the main hanger bay. The operations officer on the bridge just messaged us an update on current status. I guess this verifies all of our already incredible faith in ODST Black Team. Let's just hope they managed to recover ALL of the genetic samples belonging to The Risk Takers. Kolya: I am sure they did. Without a doubt, with Mr. Prescott leading them, Black Team has succeeded. I have no doubt Kolya stopped pacing. Conway: Well...once Black Team arrives, and once the fifth member of The Board shows up to this meeting...we will be able to decide our next course of action...no matter the outcome of their mission. Just as Conway had said this, the door to the Observation Deck opened. Black 1 was leading the group. Black 1: gentlemen...Admiral...sorry to keep you all waiting. Everyone turned to look at Black 1. Payne: Mr. Prescott...it is good to see that you have made it back safely. We didn't have our doubts...but with ONI... Black 1: ONI Really has nothing on me. Black 1 turned to Kolya. Black 1: We got the DNA as you asked. Black 2 stepped forward. He handed the small metal case to Kolya. Kolya looked at the metal case and grinned. Kolya: Well done Black Team...well done! Black 1: It was not easy. We ran into far too many unwelcome guests during our escape. For starters...Nighthawk and Anaconda. They seem to be, once again, involved in our business, and fully keen and content on screwing up all of our plans. Kolya: Well...we have the perfect weapon to use against them... Conway: Are you talking about Spartan-Z035? Kolya: Spartans have names Conway. I do not know how many times we need to go over this. I had to break both of your wrists to convince you to call me by my name. If you insist on calling Nikolai by his "number" then I will have to break your wrists again, until you learn to call him by his name. Conway was silent for a moment. Conway: Nikolai...are you referring to Nikolai? Kolya: Yes...Nikolai. Kolya paused. Kolya: As you all know...Nikolai was recently a member of Kestrel's Insurrection. There were multiple failed attempts to recruit him while the Insurrection was active. As you know...we helped ONI to destroy The Insurrection in order to...shall we say...make Nikolai an unrestricted free agent. Kolya grinned. Kolya: He was...incapacitated when ONI attacked The Insurrection...but we managed to save him. Based on our reports...ONI brought out their biggest guns against Nikolai to bring him down. They threw Brutes at him, they threw Elites at him...they threw a Cyclops at him...they threw ODSTs and Marines at him. They threw Agents at him. They even threw Nighthawk and Anaconda at him...and they BARELY brought him down. Kolya paused again. Kolya: Based on the most recent medical reports...Nikolai has fully recovered...and his is fully capable once again. I plan to unleash him against ONI. After what he has been through...ge is filled with a terrifying resolve. Combined with the funding and backing of The Trust...we will be a very powerful ally. Class 0 Spartan IIs are...a force of nature. Take it from me... Black 1: Speaking of Spartans... Black 1 interjected. Everyone looked at Black 1. Black 1: ONI has Spartan IVs...a lot of them. Their program is complete...and FAR MORE advanced than our efforts. In fact...as far as our efforts to generate Spartan IVs goes...we have nothing compared to ONI. Payne: This is...very bad... Conway: I guess this is the justification we needed to clone The Risk Takers... Gates: What are the combat capabilities of Spartan IVs? Black 1 looked at Gates and sighed. Black 1: Their combat capabilities? They are Spartans...that is all you need to know Gates! Kolya sighed. Kolya: Well...no matter. I am not concerned about...Spartan IVs. As far as I am concerned, there is NOTHING that compares to the capabilities of a Spartan II. Black 1: In either case...we should be prepared. We need The Risk Takers and we need them now. We need to bolster our ranks with more super soldiers. Kolya: Agreed. I will give the DNA samples to Commander Yates and he will deal with the cloning. Kolya paused. Kolya: Which reminds me...Commander Yates made an interesting suggestion. He forwarded an idea to me, proposing how we could rapidly retrain The Risk Takers, to the point of restoring personality, memories, even combat capabilities. Commander Yates was telling me that ONI has a scientists who has done extensive research on the issue of cloning...and that his information, combined with ours, could allow us to create perfect recreations of The Risk Takers. Gates: I think I know who you are talking about. I was hoping we would never have to lay hands on this guy... Conway: Who are we talking about? Who is this scientist? Gates and Kolya spoke at the same time. Kolya: Kirk Korman. Gates: Kirk Korman. Black 1: Oh God. If dirty words needed showers, then "Kirk Korman" needs bleach and acid. Kolya: Korman has extensive research on grafting memories and experiences to "blank" clones like we are trying to create. All we have to do is think about Projects "Bent Spoon" and "Darkstar" and you can see why I am suggesting we get Korman. Bent Spoon and Darkstar were unmitigated fucking disasters. One of them killed a bunch of scientists, disappeared for God knows how long, and then turns up in the ranks of ONI. The other took the combined force of The Trust, The UNSC, ONIs best Agents, and Nighthawk and Anaconda to kill. The was a God-awful disaster. Gates: Yes...I remember that. That was a total disaster. I can see your point Kolya. Kolya: We cannot screw up The Risk Takers like we have done with experiments like this before. We need Korman. Conway was busy typing away on a laptop on his desk. He then sighed as he was reading. Conway: According to this intel...Korman has a Spartan II on his staff. Kolya: Yes...Issac, or if you prefer his Alias, Omega. Payne: How do you suggest we capture Korman if he has a Spartan II Protecting him? Black 1: We could send Nikolai. Nikolai should be able to get past Omega, and get to Kirk. Gates: I thought we were going to save Nikolai for Nighthawk and Anaconda. Black 1: We either send Nikolai or Kolya...one or the other. Gates, Conway, and Payne looked at each other. They each nodded. Conway: Nikolai. Send Nikolai. Kolya nodded. Kolya: Very good. I will brief him ASAP. Kolya paused. Kolya: One final thing; what about our recon facilities on Doisac and Sangheilios? Gates: Ohh yes. We have recently heard from our Sangheilios facility. They have reported considerable progress on collecting new genetic material. However...our Doisac facility was destroyed very recently. The last databust suggested that the facility had been compromised beyond recovery, and that they had issued a Code 9... Kolya sighed and shook his head. Kolya: A termination of operations. That is not good for our long term plans. We now lack a beach head on Doisac. Kolya paused. Kolya: I propose we establish a new facility on one of Doisac's moons...away from any...interlopers. We must established a new launching pad for our operations immediately. Gates: I second this motion. Conway: Third. Payne: Fourth. Kolya, Gates, Payne, and Conway turned their heads to look at Black 1. Kolya: What says the fifth member of The Board? Black 1: I'm down for it. Let's do it.

[Hells Sniper]

Black 5 and Lisa were listening intently to the discussion. Black 5 was trying to process everything that was happening. Black 1 was part of this "Board," as well as Kolya and these three men he had never even knew existed. Alas, everything was coming to light. The reason they needed the Risk-Takers, the cloning facilities on Dosaic and Sanghelios, the entire "Board of Chairmen" procedure. It all made sense. It was all starting to make sense and Black 5 was slowly understanding the inner workings of the Trust. Black 5 then thought of something...something none of the chairmen had thought of. Black 5 stepped forward, as the Board looked at him. Black 5: Gentlemen...if I may. Black 5 looked at everyone, turning to face each of them, and eventually stopping to look at Gates, Conway, and Payne. Black 5: If the facility on Dosaic had been compromised. Should we not prepare for a brute retaliation? Black 5 paused. Black 5: Sure, you may think the brutes lack the necessary capabilities to look into your files and break security, but their Chieftain, who would surely be warned of this facility, has the necessary equipment. He had spent years with humans, years with the Director of ONI. And...to my knowledge, he has a human AI with him. Black 5 paused again. Black 5: He could have surely accessed the files, seen what the facility's purpose was...and is most likely, very angry about it. I am sure a brute would not appreciate this and would surely call for retaliation. Black 5 turned to Kolya and Black 1. Black 5: I think setting up another base is the least of our concerns, sir.

Seth found his team in the mess hall eatingpull pork sandwhiches. Fola:You know how the sandwhich is the greatest invention ever is? Seth sits down. Seth:No how? Fola:Been around since the 1700's I believe its an 800 year old foot and yet so delisous. Seth:I see you got me food. Earl:It was my idea. Seth:Thanks earl.

Gates: The Chieftain of The Brutes has an AI? A Human-built AI? Conway: We did not foresee this variable. This is very bad. No doubt the AI has been used to compromise some of our secrets. BLack 5 may be correct; direct retaliation may be imminent. Payne: If The Brutes enter this conflict...they will surely inform ONI of what they have found. They will definatly inform ONI as soon as they could. That is the last thing we need; Brute intervention in our conflict with ONI. The situation is escalating. Conway: It is possible that the AI has surmised that we have similar operations on Sangheilios Kolya and Black 1 watched the three other Board members speak with each other. Kolya and Black 1 then look at each other. They both shook their heads. Kolya looked back at The Board of Chairmen. Kolya: Gentlemen! Do not over think this! Kolya paused. Kolya: Yes...The Brutes might get involved, and yes, they may go and start talking to ONI. HOWEVER...none of that matters. We still have our bases on Sanghelios, our operations there are continuing. It will not be long until we are ready to escalate our plans on Sanghelios. All we need to do is pick our battles, stay clear of ONI ajd The Brutes, and just let time have its way. Once we are ready on Sanghelios, we will begin replacing their entire Government and Military commanders with our clones. With either most or all of their military in our grip, we will unleash The Elites against ONI and The Brutes in multi-front military assaults. The Elites will help us destroy ONI, and The ELites and Brutes will destroy each other, or weaken each other to the point where a few precision nuclear strikes sill be all that is needed to wipe both of their races off the face of this galaxy...forever. Black 1: With that said...destroying the minor races will be something we can do for fun, after the smoke has cleared. Conway: That, or we simply annex their worlds and turn them into forced labor. Someone is going to need to pillage those worlds of natural resources...and it won't be humans getting their hands dirty, I will say that much. Besides...it would be cheaper than transporting all the man power and equipment. Black 1: It always comes down to the coin with you...doesn't it Conway? Conway: That is the only universal variable, in my opinion. How much does it cost? Conway grinned. Kolya: So...I am guessing that we forget The Brutes for now, and simply focus our efforts on The Elites. I trust this is The plan? Gates: I am fine with it. Payne: Sounds good to me. Conway: I am in it JUST for the forced labor. Black 1: Alright...so there we are. We send Nikolai to kidnap Kirk Korman, and we ignore the space monkeys. The rest of the Board nodded. Black 1: And as for the cloning procedure for The Risk Takers...we can always have Commander Yates perform the procedure in one of our secured facilities in deep space. That way, we can ensure total secrecy and safety from ONI and the Brutes, and we can keep the clones isolated in one spot in case something goes wrong. Commander Yates can begin the procedure, and grow the crop to full maturity...and simply keep them in stasis until we are ready to graph memories, experience, and even personality right into their brains, using the information that will be provided to us, by Korman. Kolya: Agreed. I could not of said it better myself. Gates: One question though...how are we going to make Korman help us? Kolya: Leave that to me. I can be very persuasive when I have to be.

Black 5 simply shrugged and backed up a bit. He added his two cents and he allowed the Board to see his usefulness. He gave them viable information and they used it. While listening to the conversation, Black 5 was very keen on the idea of having the aliens be slaves in order to save time, money, and human involvement. The whole, anti-alien mindset was really setting in on him. After all, all of those races fought against humanity for more than two decades, and all of them aided in the ongoing genocide of his race. Black 5 was smiling under his helmet, the Board, the Trust...he was starting to love it.

Gates: Very well...then this concludes this meeting. There is nothing further to discuss. Admiral Kolya...see to it that our next rounde of operations commence immediately. Kolya nodded. He turned, and left the Observation Deck. Black Team, and General Pinestar, followed in tow. Kolya still had the metal case that contained the Risk Taker's DNA. He stopped in his tracks after he had left The Observation Deck. He turned to look at ODST Black Team and General Pinestar. Kolya: General, Black Team...as it stands, The Ulterior Motive is in no condition to engage in any sort of military operations at this time. Our engineers are currently working to repair the structural damage, and install new abalative armor...but...they will not be finished in any decent amount of time. I want the six of you to transfer to stay here, until further notice. The Bismarck will be your launching pad until The Ulterior Motive has been repaired. Kolya looked at the DNA case. Kolya: I will Inform Commander Yates that I want him to start on these clones immediately. I will also Remind him to put them on stasis until we can correctly and safely re-image their brains. Kolya looked at Lisa. Kolya: General...give the DNA samples to Commander Yates on The Nightingale. Once that is done, report back to the Bismarck, and await further orders. Kolya handed the DNA case to Lisa, and then looked at Black 1. Kolya: Black 1...I want you to keep your team at the ready. Don't get too comfortable. You may need to move out at any given time! Black 1: Will do. Kolya: With that said, I am going to brief Nikolai on what he needs to know and his current mission to capture Admiral Korman. After that, I am going to see if The Trust has access to any sort of equipment left over from The original Risk Takers project. If we are lucky...we can push The Risk Takers into action sooner rather than later. Black 1: And...what if The Trust lacks the necessary equipment? Kolya: Then we are just going to have to steal it. We have gone this far...we can go further. Black 1 nodded. Black 1: Tell me...where are wr going to clone The Risk Takers? I trust we will not be doing the experiments on The Nightingale for security reasons. Kolya: We are going to carry out the cloning procedure at Research Facility Beta-1. It is remote, isolated, and in deep space, beyond ONI borders. We will be safe there. I will be instructing Nikolai to bring Korman there. Kolya paused. Kolya: Good luck. Kolya turned and left Lisa and Black Team to their assignments. He began to make his way back to The Ulterior Motive. Black 1 looked at Lisa and Black Team. Black 1: I will set up an operations center for us somewhere on this ship. I will contact you all when I have that done.

Sergai walks up to Tylan. Sergai:Where is my quarters. Tylan:Over here. Tylan walks Sergai to his quarters. Tylan:Here therly are.

Lisa nodded. Lisa: I will deliver the DNA samples to Commander Yates. See you soon boys. Lisa tipped her hat and then walked away, heading to the hangar bay. There, the marines she was with would hopefully have her pelican waiting. Black 5 watched her go and then turned to Black Team. Black 5: I am going to head to the armory, touch up my weapons and armor. Hopefully they have a cybernetics lab as well...I will need to make sure everything is right.

This was one of the "in the dark" missions that Stolt was on. Sometimes, NavSpecWar needed its operatives to play the role of a hitman. Eliminating people who seemed to be out of reach from the civilian legal system, or those who were deemed as a serious threat to Naval interests were often taken out of the equation for the sake of simplifying things - both publicly and administration wise. Due to the nature of the operation, notching would be recorded. Everything would be given word of mouth. No medals for actions, no citations for fulfilling duties. No ties between Stolt and NSW. If he died in the mission, the lack of records would assure that NSW would have its hands clean. While he sat in the apartment room, which wasn't too far away from the location of the target's position. He had already gone over the only intel in existence about the mission. The target was known as Sanchez. He was an arms dealer that had followed a trail leading down the rabbit hole, venturing too close to certain NSW projects. To maintain privacy, the man had to be silenced for good. Stolt was allowed to use any means necessary to complete the job. How he would kill Sanchez was at his disgression. The stealthy route would be the best. Probably an injection with a syringe or something that looks like a shooting by one of his goons. After reviewing the file a few more times, making some quick mental notes, he tossed it into the fireplace and watched it burn away. He checked the equipment that was spread across the table. Included was an M6D service pistol with a detachable silencer, a combat knife, a syringe with some drug that some scientist probably made a cocktail of to ensure a "natural" death, and a cyanide pill inside a fake tooth crown, in case he should be captured. All he has to do was bite the crown to crack it and swallow the pill to ensure his own silence. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that. Quickly, Stolt put on his clothing, black slacks, white button up, and black tie. Then, he placed his gear on various areas. The knife, he strapped to his left forearm, his M6D was placed in a shoulder holster, and the syringe was tucked safely into his shirt pocket. Over this, he wore a black sports blazer. On the outside was a fine, handcrafted fabric. On the inside were layers of Kevlar diamond weave - sufficient for stopping small arms fire from pistols, shotguns, and SMGs. Once he completed this mission, he would report back to NSW and be sent to the King Raven once more.
