It was eerie, the careful footfalls as she crept forwards. Invisibility flickering to mask her movements, blending her in with the oddly hued wall. Dead flesh green, and pale peach meshed with a fuzz... it was.. disturbing. The floor gave way to wet slick squishing sounds as she ushered herself forwards. Such a putrid scent wafted up her nostrils almost wishing her to gag as she bit down upon her mandibles.
Quick blue eyes darted, sketchy appearance as she stepped forth. An ungodly howl erupted, shattering what little silence was left in the deserted ship. A fear induced shiver ran down her skin, causing it to crawl upwards; chills entered her as the thermal suit kicked in an attempt to warm her. She stopped faintly, the dreaded sound of sloshing and guttural sounds echoing and growing louder and in more number.
She watched in faint horror as the twisted bodies surged forwards, entrails and gore streaking against the ground, the terror and nausea churning in her stomach at the sheer sight.
She heard further in depth the loud klaxons blaring alarms though this ship had long been dead. The only bodies here still moved. The charging mass ran past her in search of something more, or possibly orders from the Gravemind itself. Lights flared, others strobed and some hissed sparks as it attempted to make it's connection. She heard the creatures howl in agony as the faint rat-a-tat sounded. Humans...
Why would they be on board..of all things? She tried to quickly make her way to her objective only to hear noises everywhere. Dark twisted sounds, the banging in the ventilation and clawing, snarling, growling and anything else.
She just wanted to keel over and scream. The agony the torment! 'Make it stop.. please!..' she weeped in her mind as she leaned against what seemed like part of a door. Blood of all hues ranging from human, to even that of the lowly Unggoy smeared the walls; painting everything in a horrendous picture. She held back a dry heave and ushered forwards, deeper into the heart of this god-forsaken ship. She just wanted out.. to get away and scour herself with soaps and oils just to get rid of the dreadful scent.
This place truly was a hell of it's own. 'THERE! UP AHEAD... I SEE SOMETHING!' A being yelled; a sickening feeling of dread washed over her, part of her wished to De-activate her camo just to end her horror filled eyes..To turn around and run towards them, to escape this vulgar place.
The sound or reloading and a flurry of quick shots than... blank-
