It serves as an excellent  counter-infantry and counter-vehicle weapon. As opposed to the standard M7057 Defoliant Projector, the M7057 Defoliant Projector - ONI Variant is effective up to 100 feet. This weapon is standard issue on all ONI ships as of 2555. ONI marines do not usually cary this weapon unless they intend to burn something to the ground. Brutes seem to like it and use it whenever they can. The weapon sports a very stylish semi-matte black finish on the rubber grips, with a slight navy blue polish on the metal. A vanity decal is placed on the front of the weapon. By the looks of it, it appears to be a shark of some kind. The weapon itself proves incredibly effective against everything at ranges of up to 100 ft.
